Where do I find firmware 5.1 file to use the RSD lite? .xml format
Does not exist yet. It will appear after 5.1 is finally released for the XT1095.

Well, when I click show device I'm not getting anything. I want the latest JB firmware for Atrix HD for ATT so I can at least attempt to get this thing functional.

Hi,
I've been reading all the post about OTA update, but I couldn't find a clear answer to my question.
I have an XT1053 Dev Edition with 4.4.2 running.
I've unlocked the bootloader and changed firmware to 4.4.2 European version (Blur_Version.161.44.16.ghost_row.Retail.en.EU) through RSD Lite to have italian language on it.
Then I've flashed T-mobile modem to have a better signal.
The phone is not rooted.
When I'll receive the OTA update to 4.4.3, will it be safe to accept it?
Thanks in advance to any reply!!

It should be Ok, the worst thing that will happen is that the OTA will fail and then you will know you may need to return back to stock4.4.2.
I have a unlocked Moto X running 5.0.2 which never received the 5.1 or 5.1.1 update. I tried to upgrade it manually using a 5.1 OTA file but it does not work because the file is looking for a 4.4.4 to upgrade from. Does anyone have an OTA file for upgrade to 5.1 from 5.0.2?
Hello, i am trying to install Marshmallow on XT1097 by following several guides on the internet. My smartphone is on Android 5.1 and bootloader is locked. Can i install Marshmallow on XT1097 using RSD Lite? If yes, please give me a link for Stock ROM. I have followed many guides on the internet and failed.
I am using RSD Lite to flash Marshmallow on XT1097 and gets hab check failed on boot error.
Any suggestions?

You're not getting the OTA to 6.0?
You should unlock your bootloader to flash files to the phone.
You can find stock firmwares here:
https://firmware.center/firmware/Motorola/Moto X (2nd gen-2014)/Stock/XT1097/
I read that you need to remove a line from the flashfile.xml file to flash stock with RSD Lite (which I've never used, I use fastboot). Every stock firmware has that XML file, you need to extract the firmware zip:
<step var="max-sparse-size" operation="getvar"/>

I've checked it on Motorola's unlocking website and it says that your device cannot be unlocked.

When I unlocked mine, I had to scroll to the bottom of the Motorola unlock page and select United States. But maybe your variant cannot be unlocked; mine is an XT1097 RETCA from Wind Mobile.

In bootloader mode:
fastboot getvar all
Hey.
I finally managed to download a stock rom for my p8 lite from update.dbankcdn.com.
Since I have Android 8.0 installed and EMUI 8.0 the partitions is different from Android 7.0 and EMUI 5.0, I tried to find any useful commands in FASTBOOT.img to see if there is a way to re-partition the partitions but I did not found anything that could help me with this. I wounder if there is a way rollback to into EMUI 5.0 again since now I have installed twrp on RECOVERY_RAMDSK and it's not possible to flash twrp for EMUI 5.0 on this partition.. I know I can use a sdcard or use an older version of HiSuite and block the upgrade since the latest version does not support to downgrade anymore (OVE) or using sideload but I am curios how I can rollback without an sd-card or adb sideload and get the proper partitions for 5.0 manually via fastboot, is this possible?
https://www.androguider.com/2019/01/latest-update-for-several-huawei-honor.html
Just found:
From the URL: "Latest update for several Huawei & Honor devices adds Anti-Rollback protection "
Explains why it does not work with either method for rollback. Must be a workaround for this so I really need help.

I think you are asking the question in the wrong thread. This one is for the first P8 Lite, the 2014 model I think, and from what you are saying it looks like you have a P8 Lite 2017 version.
You should go to that thread and ask there any questions you may have.
