So I tried to install xposed for 5.0 to my nexus 5 running optipop with uber kernel with supersu 2.23 and afterwards, root seems to be broken. Supersu cannot be opened and rooted apps don't work. Is there any way someone knows how to make the two play nicely together? I really want to install that xposed module to fix the lollipop memory leak, but at the same time, my favorite game doesn't work with any version of supersu higher than 2.23.
Silly question I know, just want to know the probabilities of "Soft-brick" my LG L30- and I want to be sure of install the correct Xposed Installer.
I have an LG model D120AR "L30" rooted, with Stock Android Kit-Kat 4.4.2 (API Level 19); armv7l.
I downloaded the Xposed Installer 2.6.1 directly from the website of Xposed. This Version should work right?
I just want to make a few appearance modifications.
So if in case I soft-brick it (boot-loop). Will a Hard-Reset restore it? By the way I just have the stock recovery (cannot flash, no CWM nothing, just the stock), which only have option for hard-reset.
thanks in advance.
I have the Samsung Galaxy S5 (SM-G900P) running android version 5.0. I have tried installing the MOAR ROM and it wanted me to to install Android 5.0 Bootloader. I went and flashed the file with Odin and I apparently soft-bricked my phone. It said that the upgrade encountered a firmware issue. This is the error message I got when trying to turn on my phone: "firmware upgrade encountered an issue" I also tried going into TWRP recovery mode and it didn't allow me to do that. I'm wondering if I did anything wrong or why my device didn't work. I want to install a custom ROM so I will be able to install Xposed Framework and don't know what ROM would work for my specific device model (SM-G900P). What ROM would allow me to install the Xposed Framework for my device model and version and be certain that I will not encounter any issues. I am thinking that if I install a custom ROM that it will allow me to install the Xposed Framework because I'm hearing that Samsung Galaxy S5 Stock ROM's aren't able to install Xposed Framework for lollipop 5.0, please help me out so I can install Xposed Framework and get all the modules that I had before upgrading to android 5.0. I would really appreciate some help and support to fix this issue. Do you guys know any custom ROM's that will work for my model and version that will also allow Xposed Framework to be installed on my particular device?
Hello,
I was flashing roms to my Xperia SP C5303 LBL. I hadn't uninstalled Xposed Framework before. Now Xposed says "The latest version of Xposed is currently not active. Did you install the framework and reboot?".
The problem is that it is saying even on rooted stock 4.3 Sony's firmware. How to remove Xposed Framework completely?
What roms have I flashed:
4.4.4 Slimkat
4.4.4 Z3 EXperienceSP 2 storage rom
5.0.2 Resurrection Remix
5.0.2 Z3 EXperienceSP
4.4.4 PAC Rom
5.0.1 Cyanogenmod 12.0 by bagyusz
What have I done:
- wipe system 5 times, data 5 times and cache 5 times + stock rom
- again wipe everything 5 times + 4.4.4 PAC rom
- trying to install and remove by app
- factory reset on 4.4.4 PAC rom
- trying to restore a backup of one of 4.4.4 rom (probably by bagyusz)
- trying to install 4.4.4 and 5.0.2 romes from list above and trying to uninstall xposed framework by app
I have no idea what I can do, I haven't found anything on google that could help me.
Have you got any ideas?
refresh
Still need help!
I found out that 4.4.4 Z3 EXperienceSP 2 storage rom has included 4.4.4 Z3 Xposed installer. I think that I can't uninstall because of that.
I searched ExperienceSP thread but there is no information about uninstalling Xposed.
Even I've tried to remove Xposed via Recovery but this didn't work.
hey, @rovo89
i have a problem with my phone
see, ive been searching for cm12.1 rom for my sm-g360h until i saw your thread from 2015 and finally after days and months of searching i flashed it on my phone, everything was going good till i tried to flash xposed framework and boom! i get bootloops whenever i try flashing compatible version of xposed to my phone...
i used sdk22 armv7a xposed versions, old and new! all i get is bootloops!!
please i dont know what else to do....
by the way my phone's stock rom is 4.4.4.... is that mean that i should flash xposed based on the current rom or the stock rom ?
@sondos_mahmoud, you mention stock. Are you dual/multibooting?
Anyway, flash Xposed based on the ROM or Android version that it will be used on. Besides, there's no flashable Xposed for KitKat so it wouldn't be possible.
Maybe check the CM12.1 thread for your device and see what folks have done there.

A web search for your device + cm12 + Xposed turned up a lot of hits and vids you might want to consult.
On my device with Xposed v87, permissive kernel, and SuperSU, all works well. Doesn't mean much I know since our setups are so different.
Also check out the UNITY Xposed installer (in this subforum) and see if that one makes a difference.
Don't forget to flash the uninstallers and wiping dalvik when trying different versions. Making sure the ROM boots okay between so many attempts.

first, thanks for replying
second, i'm not trying to flash xposed on kitkat cus it doesn't require that, the main problem here is i cant get xposed installed.
i tried flashing xposed v86, 87, 88, 89 but nothing, only bootloops, and according to xposed apk when i install it after flashing xposed zip and open it the phone restarts!!!
i tried xposed alpha3 and alpha4
and v3.1.5 ,didn't open with me, the phone restarts right away!
by the way i flashed cm13 yesterday and also tried to flash xposed.....i get bootloops ((
so i downgraded to cm12.1
i'm pretty sure i wiped cache and dalvik between every flashing operation, i followed the steps carefully ..
i don't know if its my phone which has the problem....
tell me what else to do? im desperate ..
and sorry im not that good in english
