RIngke Cases and amFilm Protectors (Warning: Large Photos) - G4 Accessories

I finally decided to try out some of the G4 accessories I ordered. This won't be a review, instead this will just be photo's to show how everything looks and fits. I will state that I like all the products shown here and will continue to use them on my phones. All photo's were taken with one of the G4's in rainy low light conditions.
The Leather back G4 has an amFilm plastic screen protector and a Ringke Fusion clear case with smoke bumper.

I don't understand... what's the point of getting leather if you're going to cover it with plastic?

It shouldn't be too hard to understand.
If I go running, biking or hiking, I rather not expose the leather. When I give my son my phone, I rather not give bare leather. I can think of so many other reason, like camping or a day at six flags.
I like the bare leather for some tasks, but I also like to be able to sweat with my phone and in my experience leather doesn't hold up too well.
Best of both worlds?

That's basically how I do it.
If I'm the only one using it, no case.
If I'm working on my car or something, case.
If I plan on letting my daughter watch some stuff on it, case.

Don't like the cases with that back cut out.

I didn't really think of your reasons before but they make a lot of sense . I like patina but not so much oil stains or dark marks from grubby fingers!

OP which case do you like more? Did either of them scuff the leather when removed?

I have a Verus Verge, Neo hybrid and the Ringke Fusion, and they all have kept the leather perfect so far (less than a week). I do see the edges of the leather back getting "shined" after a while from removing the cases. It happens after repeatedly rubbing leather in the same spot. its inevitable I guess with or without cases.
I prefer the Ringke Fusion for my leather back G4. I like the leather look, and the clear case allows me to retain some of that look. My problem is that I will be changing out batteries soon (once I receive my 2 rebate battery kits) instead of charging, and case removal has me worried. I plan on buying more backs in the future if they ever become reasonably priced, but that may never happen.
To be honest I prefer the plastic back over the leather if I had to choose one. It seems more practical to me. It doesn't get finger prints and it just fits better. The initial leather appeal has worn off for me and the plastic back fits better on the phone especially around the camera and buttons. Good thing the backs are replaceable so we aren't stuck with our initial choices.

Good

I just got in my Ringke slim case and its amazing. Looks sturdy enough for small drops. My only gripe is its a finger magnet!

Picking up a G4 next week when its released in Canada. Got my ringke slim today for it.
I have used the slim on my Galaxy S5 and my S6. Best slim cases out there in my opinion.

I picked up the Ringke Slim. Don't really like it, though. It's Hell to get off, makes me feel like I'm going to damage my phone removing it. Also don't like that lack of a decent lip on it.
I'll stick with Cruzerlite. Always fits well, is durable, and doesn't attract fingerprints.

I got both today.

I have the clear case and am loving it. While i typically dislike cases, particularly with the leather back, this one looks nice and makes the phone feel much sturdier.

After a week I'm still loving this thin case. If it falls I have little faith it would survive. Better than nothing and it feels like it's a bare phone.

I would have gotten plastic also if I had realized the expense of the leather backs.

I also have the ringke slim case, I've had it for just over a week now and definitely enjoy using it.
I was afraid that it was too flimsy, or wouldn't fit correctly, but it fits really tight (kind of hard to peel off but I'd say that's a good thing.
I also put a metal plate so I can use my magnetic mount in my car, and it still fits fine with the metal plate on the back of the phone.
My favorite part about this case is the feel of it on the back when holding my phone. It has a nice matte soft touch and doesn't keep any fingerprints. It's easy to clean and is overall a minimalistic case.

Review: Rearth Ringke Case (Pictures Galore!!!)

Just got my Rearth Ringke case for the Nexus S.
Aqua Black in color which is transparent.
Background: I purchased the Best Buy Platinum Series Combo Case (rebranded Seidio Innocase Surface) when I first bought my Nexus S on release date Dec. 16, 2010.
Unfortunately because of the curvature of the Nexus S, this case isn't as high quality as Seidio's previous Innocases for other phones. I've stopped using it and only use the Sprint-Clip Holster along with other cases. Here is my post (just pictures) about the Platinum/Seidio case: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=875231
In looking for other cases, I purchased a really cheap TPU style case on eBay, and have been using it. I'm ok with it, but there are some issues that I do not like (volume/power buttons are flush and hard to push/find).
Review: Received the Rearth Ringke case today for my Nexus s.
Packaging was great. Sturdy box, mailed from Louisiana. The actual packaging for the case is nice too.

I'm not sure if it's because of the transparent color/material, but it's very silicone like, and very squishy. The eBay TPU case I have was very hard.
It's easy to put the phone in the case, but because of how "squishy" it is, once you get the phone in, it is not perfecly in. You'll need to move it around and adjust the case and line up the camera/flash/speaker holes. My eBay TPU case, once I put the phone in, it fits perfectly in and no adjustments needed. I've only had this Ringke case today, so I will see how it lasts for the next few days and see if in the normal use of my phone if the case will move around and misalign.
So how does it feel? To me it feels pretty good. It's very thin and has some kind of texture in it. I've read others saying it's slippery and offers no grip. I disagree. There is a matte sort of feeling and it's not slippery at all.
You can see in some of the pictures, the Ringke logo is on top of the Samsung logo, visible in the transparent Black Ash colored case. This doesn't matter in the solid non transparent colors, but in this particular case, I would have prefered if they moved the Ringke logo up a bit as to not block the Samsung logo.
I noticed on the power button, there is a picture of a power icon. Nice touch but not sure if it's necessary since it's almost impossible to see. (The actual Nexus S does have a power icon on the power button, that's probably why they did it).
A huge plus with this case vs other TPU cases, the Power button/Volume control actually works! They stick out a bit and you can actually feel the buttons and press it with a nice feel and the buttons work!
I like the little indentation above the speaker hole, the raised edges around the camera hole, and the little notches above the FFC and Light Sensors. You can tell they did some design work on the case to make it a little different.
Also, the phone with the Ringke Case fits my Platinum Series Spring Clip Holster. That is a major plus.
All in all, this is a very nice case. Steps above cheap HK eBay cases. The price is line with similar style (non eBay) cases.
More Pictures:
Does the case feel like it will start rubbing off? Like rubber cases that if you slide in and out of jeans pockets will start to peel and whatnot.

Nah. It's not coated in rubber, no it doesn't feel/look like it'll wear off.

Very Happy with this case, good texture, very good fit. It protects enough for the everyday normal usage and very occasional drops (don't tell me you never drop things...). I got the black one.
I ordered a tougher one for when I do all my crazy cycling, climbing, travelling, running, hiking, etc... so it can safely take a few more higher&tougher impacts.

The matte texture is actually rubbing off for me around the edges. Makes it a bit shinnier and stickier around the edges.

I got this case pretty neat will review soon
Can you tell me if the case can be bought in stores in the US?
My brother is currently in the US and I'd ask him to bring me one along ...
I have both ...both great case minimal bulk added and love the back finish doesn't collect sweat/.fingerprints
the plus on the Rearth Ringke is the buttons they seem to stick out so easier to find were the case on the right they dont.
And the cut outs are slightly better
But the case on the right has a glossy finish on the front and IMO looks better like the phone has no case on
Both are great cases TPU is much better than silicone cases that get sweaty and lose shape after a while
here is a vid review also

I had wanted a black, but settled for an aqua black just a couple weeks ago from their website. Seems all they have left are colors other than black:
http://www.rearthusa.com/Nexus-S-Nexus-S-4G_p_160.html
I was able to find one or two other retailers via Google Shopping, but their price was the best (with free shipping). I was impressed. It was basically next day from LA to CA (although YMMV).
Also, I wanted to add, I have a Casemate Pop, Seido Active X, and this case. The Ringke is my favorite out of all of them thus far.
As far as the feel of it is, I liken it to the feel of the Nexus One's Teflon exterior.
I just bought two of these for my girlfriend and myself (i9020T) and we're both very happy with it. Sticks well to the phone, not too heavy/bulky and looks good. My only gripe with it is that the Black is not really that black in person like it is in the promo pictures

Only thing thinner is the Incipio Feather case. But it's not going to offer the same degree of protection.

i wish they came with a clear case!. i bought a white nexus s, and would love to see the white beneath the case lol. the clear cases i've found look cheap and bulky. but i did find a really good case, i am rockin Proporta's Mizu Shell in charcoal. Has a great feel and fit to it but again, i wish it was clear, as it only comes in charcoal. anyone know a good clear and slim case?
Thanks for the review! Once I had found out OtterBox wasn't releasing one for the Nexus S I couldn't decide between this and the Ultra Silke. I Ordered the Rearth one after reading this review. Only wish they had Black in stock, and quicker shipping to Canada..
Does this case make it hard for you to access the phone in your pockets? I bought a silicone one it was really hard to put it in and take it out of the pockets.
I usually wear jeans...
This looks like exactly what I want. Thanks for the thorough review.

Ballistic - Shell Gel (SG) Case Series

So on the ballistics case after going through other reviews and more than enough websites I found the ballistics case was the indeed the case which had the protection. The box said 8-9ft drop so I tested it with a leap faith and the case phone stayed together with no damage and didn't come apart even with case alone dropping the case stays together. Not slippery I can apply minimum pressure using my little finger and thumb dry and wet with no slippage. The case is made from decent materials not the stuff you would get from a 5 dollar case which I have been through several. The case works with NFC and Wireless Charging so this is a good point i found a few cases that doesn't allow this. The case offers better screen protection from laying flat on a surface screen down than any case with the added corner protection see the photo you can see the light from the screen coming through. The back is non slip also and makes good resting on a slanted surface say a car roof, bonnet or dash board. And with a year warrantee you can't get far wrong. In general its makes the whole overall grip better and nice to the touch. Feels very manly to and with a simplistic look. With the plastic support the case holds firmly all round the note. Down side only two colours black and white, little flimsy top and bottom of screen as there isn't as much support but the gel is strong and durable, a screen protector isn't provided but with the gorilla 2 glass I'm one of those who thinks they are a waste of time. The price is fair for the case was 22.99 off eBay stores, cheaper if you get a deal on it and cheaper again if your in the US.
Amazon gives a 4.5/5 overall for 33 reviews that's pretty good like 26 being 5 Star rest 4 star, 1 or 2 at 2stars.
As promised photos.

Is it grippy? Looks hard plastic. I'd like a soft rubber case with a good pattern. The type that would be deficult to remove from a tight pocket.

Many people complain that the inner silicone is loose in the upper and lower part and also in the corners. Would you agree?
Upper and lower yes, not on the corners the corners are tight.

I really do like this case, with the exception of one thing... it's tpu is semi tacky. In other words, it sticks to things when taking it out of my pocket, to include money, paper... even the pocket itself. But, in the end, it's slimmer than my UAG case. So I swap them out a few times per week, some days the UAG extra thickness gets to me, so I throw on the ballistic case until I get irritated by the tpu snag, and back to the UAG for a bit.
YMMV.

I think I may just order this case. After seeing the drop test video on the Note 2 on youtube I'm convinced this is a great case that will keep my baby safe
For what is worth, since I had my hands on all of these cases, if you have to choose between UAG and Ballistic - I wouldn't even blink my eye and go with UAG. UAG is thinner than Ballistic, because Ballistic has the added tpu layer on top of it's plastic outer shell. If it wouldn't be for that extra layer, it would be the same thickness as UAG. I also didn't like how grippy the rubber ends were in Ballistic, including it pulling away from the case. It sure does offer a supper protection if dropped, no doubt about it, but so does UAG and its more pocket friendly and nothing pulls away.
What I think mdt73 refers to is not thickness but rather hand ergonomics where Ballistic is more rounded off thus feeling better in your hand versus UAG being more squared off thus feeling a bit wider. Pretty much, for some people who can't get used to it, that's the only complaint with UAG where some don't like its squared of grip. Drop protection wise, both cases can take the same abuse. Why don't you get both, compare, and return the one you don't like?

Thank you for your input. I actually already have two UAG cases. I really love the case, I just hate how the left side becomes loose after removing the phone and reinserting which takes about 1-2 for it to get tight again. And on the case where the headphone jack is it is slightly warped and bent upwards. I love my UAG case, been rockin them since I had my S3. Just those little things that bother me that I try to ignore.. and the case always pops off the phone in my pocket.

Hmm, have you contacted UAG about it? This shouldn't be happening, neither of my UAG cases have this problem. I typically pop the phone in and out all the time testing different cases and accessories. In almost 3 months of use it feels as tight at the day I got it. Oh, I wish everything in life would be like that
But back to OP of Ballistic case. Don't get me wrong. It's a fantastic case and will offer a great protection. You never know, you might like it. Everybody has their own preference. I know people who switched from UAG to Trident because of the better hand grip. So there could be that little thing that completely ticks you off and stops you from enjoying something until you get another case. That's why if it burns a hole in a back of your mind, you can always order it from Amazon, and if you don't like it - return it back.

Yep sure did. I'm actually on my 3rd on that's been replaced twice. They told me to keep my other one. I sent them an email regarding the continuing issue three days ago but haven't heard anything back. Got my flygrip in today so not concerned about grip.. Although I did not see that being an issue with the UAG. The only thing I dislike about the Ballistic cases is the rubber silicone attracts so much lint and gets dirty very easily. But thank you for replying and giving great advice and details about the cases.

[Q] Favorite LG G2 Case

What's your favorite case for your G2 (white Verizon)? I don't need OtterBox Defender bulk or protection. But would like the case to offer protection and feel good in the hands none the same. Having the buttons covered would be a great bonus.
Wanted to add the screen has a Zagg (original) screen protector on it. Any cases that don't interfer with it?
Cruzerlite Bugdroid on my Verizon G2. Fits perfectly with just enough protection and allows a screen protector to fit as well.
I have a Ballistic and I like it. It fits good, isn't too bulky, and it covers the back buttons. My wife has a Trident, which is also nice but is a bit bigger. No button coverage on the Trident. Both accommodate a screen protector just fine. In fact the Trident case comes with one.
http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Neo-...-Armor-Case-for-LG-Optimus-G2/1877761621.html
I have this case. It keeps low profile, protects the corners (most important for g2) and has soft touch tpu on the back. Nice to hold. Previously had spigen slim armor (this was way too heavy and too bulky), cheap tpu case (i think the phone would be better of naked rather than in those 0.3mm or 0.6mm cases, cause they provide no protection at all).
Would like to try that Diztronic tpu case that everyone seems to recommend. But i dont want to pay for shipping as much for the case itself. 17$ total Whoaat. Also i think cheap tpu case provides almost the same protection as that Diztronic one.
Puregear slimshell i think would be the perfect case for me, but its too expensive.
I have the Verizon and love the Incipio Feather. I've dropped my phone several times and the case does its job. No dings or scratches on the phone. Very low profile. Nice soft rubbery matte coating. quality plastic. Tough.
i dont know if it fits the verizon, but i have a spigen slim armor and i think it's a very nice case... but the buttons are not covered...
I use the Incipio Dual Pro and love it!
Diztronic case is best for me...

Wow! I actually have the Dark Blue version of this but I found the Cyan version is only $5 plus Free Shipping. Mine is starting to get beat up, so $5 is a steal. Incipio is the best. The product is quality and solid. It has a awesome powder rubber coating that helps keep it nice and clean/scratch free. It isn't painted or made of cheap brittle plastic like other cases.
Just FYI on the price.
Update: Incipio typically comes with 2 screen protectors also... which makes it an even better deal.
Just received the cheapest possible matte TPU case from ebay, cost me less than 1€ and it's just great! Fits perfectly, there is absolutely no chance the phone will fall off from it. The cutouts are fitting perfectly (the simtray cutout wasn't necesary tho, you don't change sim card too often, or is it just me?) even though they aren't that well detailed, but hey, it cost less than 1€! The material it's made of isn't too jelly or soft, it's pretty solid piece of rubber-plastic and feels nice and not that cheap. I'm very, very pleased with this one!

I have leather flip case over one year now, protection is great but it is annoying to open the case every time I need to use the device. I’ve ordered Spigen Slim Armor this morning.
i got an otterbox commuter case so far it's pretty good. rugged but good looking
Got surprised with how well this case is made, it's plastic, rigid, and gives a nice sandstone oneplus one like feeling, also got a screen protector free. In my opinion, worth of money, it's slim also and scratch resistant (tried giving it a rub with my keys).

This is mine flip case, made by Teracell. Bought it at local store. Its really beautiful, but it has few bad sides.
- I don't like that it doesn't cover top and bottom edge of the phone
- It doesn't have a magnet for holding cover, so it usually stays open
- Its really small hole around flash and it makes flash bounce of it on pictures, making flash unusable

Cool case but won't work with the Verizon since it is a tad thicker because of the Qi Wireless Charging.

Overview of Four Cases (Spigen Thin Fit, Diztronic TPU, Ringke SLIM Clear & Black)

Overview of Four Cases (Spigen Thin Fit, Diztronic TPU, Ringke SLIM Clear & Black)
Spigen Thin Fit - Minimal coverage, exposed buttons, not the biggest fan of this one.

Diztronic Full Matte Flexible TPU - Somewhat thin while probably offering the best coverage out of the ones I am listing. I feel like they could have closed the s-pen cut out completely
Ringke SLIM Clear & Black - My favourite case out of the ones I have. The clear one however is fairly slippery, probably about as slippery or more as carrying the phone naked. The black one however is grippy and looks very sleek almost like the phone doesn't even have a case on it.
is there a lip on the ?
Nice Case~ Are those cases hard plastic cases or soft rubber cases?

they're all hard plastic except the diztronic which is soft rubber/tpu
Rinke is what i have. the clear or smoked one allows you to add something to the back and it's very nice looking. i don't know why someone would spend all this money on a phone and put something ugly like a uag case on it. anyway, here's what it looks like:
I just ordered the Rearth Slim in black. Always liked very minimal cases, that keep the slim profile of the phone, but cover it in case of scratches and minor dings from little drops.
Only thing I don't like about the clear Ringke case is that I feel like it attracts fingerprints like crazy, also gets a bit slippery from what I can only guess is your finger oils. Wanna try out the black one from what the OP stated its provides more grip. Overall like the form factor of the case, very slim.
I currently have the black Tech 21 case I got at T-Mobile, and it's nice and protective, but is a bit thick and beefy for my taste.
I hope the Rearth Slim is thinner and less bulky.
Holy crap this case is AWESOME
Galaxy Note 5 Case, Ringke SLIM
http://www.amazon.com/Ringke-Essent...1442611872&sr=1-1&keywords=note+5+slim+ringke
Wow, just wow. I have never liked a case so much. This thing fits like a frigging glove, very tight close fit, and is almost like a thick skin as opposed to a case.
Yeah this won't save the phone from big drops, but it does prevent dings and scratches, and feels much better in the hand nice rubbery grippy feel, than the naked slippery phone.
Looks nice... I would consider it
I've been rocking the black ringke slim on my GS5 for over a year and it definitely has saved my phone from many drops (phone is spotless). Also my brother is using one on his GS6 edge and it saved his phone from a bad drop recently.

Got crystal but way too slippery. Keeps sliding out of my pocket, etc..
Big thumbs up on the ringke slim. Even though it's slim it just saved my phone big time. 4 foot drop onto travertine tile kitchen floor and phone is still flawless. My heart stopped and i thought phone was definitely gonna be shattered. Case got a little dent in the corner so it took one for the team. Still fits fine though.

So the black one is not slippery and the clear one is?

Yeah. It's weird. You may as well get some other device if you're just going to keep it inside the case equivalent of a tank. I went to a Samsung shop recently and the first thing the sales guy tried to sell me was a huge UAG case.
... and it was ugly as hell -- but you know, the guy who was trying to sell it to me looked like he couldn't afford a Note5 himself and was just trying to sell me the SKU that cost the most.

That's my understanding. Just don't like the plain look of the black one. Clear one is great but too slippery.

Correct. Clear one is ridiculously slipper. Black is grippy.
I have the Ringke SLIM in black, and it's awesome. I was skeptical when I ordered it, but was instantly pleased once I snapped it on. If you're looking for a case that offers protection and improved grip, but don't want to add any bulk to your phone, just get the Ringke SLIM. Don't even think twice about it.

Few cases I picked up - Patchworks Level, Lumion Huey, Ringke Wave, Maxboost

Patchworks Level ITG
https://www.amazon.com/Galaxy-Note-Patchworks-Level-White/dp/B075258BFF
I would say this is a intermediate protection case. It's slim and not very bulky. I would not be afraid to drop this onto hard concrete. Surprisingly nice looking packaging for a brand I haven't heard of.
This case simply hugs the phone, best fit of all the cases here. It's a hybrid material but it's molded as a one-piece case. It has enough grip on the TPU sides. The polycarbonate back has a matte finish so it will probably resist scratches well enough. There is an extra protruding lip near the camera opening so you can tell where to put your finger when you're looking for the fingerprint reader. This has to be the favorite of this bunch. I've never heard of the company but I am interested in seeing what they have to offer after using this case.
I would recommend this case for $13 retail.
-Hard polycarbonate back
-Soft TPU inner
-Really nice fit and finish
-Great fit
-Solid enough for drops
-Has space for metal plate (car mount)
Lumion Huey
https://www.amazon.com/Galaxy-Note-Case-Huey-Lightweight/dp/B074T4LVJG
Thin TPU with nice texture and design on the back. There is no issue with fit and this will be my go-to for a slim TPU case. It slides on and off without much effort but it won't fall off by itself, but it is thin TPU so some may not like the flimsier sides. The company is now called Lumion, but I believe we all know them by the name VRS Design. They make decent cases from my experience with them. Good choice for light drop protection.
I would recommend this one for $10 retail.
-Slim
-Really decent fit
-Soft TPU
-Looks nice
-Brushed metal pattern on the bottom half
Maxboost mSnap
https://www.amazon.com/Maxboost-Midnight-Resistant-Excellent-Protective/dp/B0749CSD7D
Although it's nice and minimalist, it's just stiff polycarbonate and it's not particularly grippy. There isn't much in terms of lip around the camera area.
It's difficult to put on as the polycarbonate is pretty stiff.
I would pass on this case for the price of $8 retail.
-Really slim
-Hard polycarbonate
-Smooth
-Covers most of the phone
Ringke Wave
https://www.amazon.com/Ringke-Absorbent-Full-Body-Resistant-Protection/dp/B074GY1NPX
For a TPU hybrid case, it's very difficult to insert the phone.
They decided to use super stiff TPU. Feels like I was going to break my phone trying to put it in and take it out.
Large/sharp lip would lift your screen protector.
The case looks larger/thicker than it really is, and that's not a good thing.
I would pass on this one even though it's just $8 retail.
-Hard TPU Inner
-Two piece design
-Hard polycarbonate outer
-Large lip
Trianium Clear
https://www.amazon.com/Trianium-Clarium-Resistant-Ergonomic-Shock-Absorbing/dp/B074F4W8SW
Honestly, it's nothing special. It's similar to the Ringke Fusion series and nothing about it stands out. I can talk more about this one if anyone's interested. It'll probably yellow very quickly given the look and feel of the clear TPU.
I would pass on this case even though it's just $7 retail.
-Soft TPU sides
-Polycabonate back
-Cheap feeling TPU
That Maxboost case... mine came in yesterday, and I immediately circular-filed it. Glad I only payed 40¢ for it.

I cant seem to find a case I like smh
I'm waiting on the White Speck Presidio case to come down in price. I have 9 Ringke and Caseology cases. Most are nice but that grip of the Specks is unmatched.
Speck Products Presidio Grip Cell Phone Case for Samsung Galaxy Note8 - White/Black Presidio Grip https://www.amazon.com/dp/B074GJKYC6/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_3rhTzbRXQ13GG
Liking the Patchworks case. I love that it has space for car mount metal plates. This is really useful for me. I know Spigens thin fit case also have this. Anyone know of other cases with such feature?
Could someone please recommend a super thin case that has covers all of the bottom holes with flaps? Including the S-pen, USB, and Aux areas? I will gladly rock a pink case if that's the only available cover ^.^
I can't stand the sharp feel of cases with these holes exposed.
I have the ringke wave. It is very stiff but good for $1.92
Could anyone with the Patchworks case pictured in OP's post comment on whether it works with the Whitestone Dome?

I like the hard and minimalist maxboost look. it sits perfectly flat on my desk at work.
The speck will have to wait because I am in love with the Patchworks Level case. The simple styling and feel in hand is amazing. The grip!!!! It's my daily driver for sure.
I absolutely LOVE the Patchworks Flexguard case for the S8+. Unfortunately I read the Note 8 version suffers from being too loose.
The more sturdy patchworks case came today and it is great!

Yeah this Patchworks level case put my other 9 caseology, ringke and lumion cases into retirement. I wish I had bought every color when the sale ran.
Honestly, I got the PW LEVEL case for $2 on a Slickdeals weeks ago. I have to say I am using it over all my Spigen and VRS cases right now. Everything about it is amazing
Ordered the Patchwork one with TPU clear back on amazon and they delayed it so they sent me the black level case for free. I like it, I think it is just a little bit "slippery" if my hands are dry.

Yeah same here. Ordered the Contour and got a Level b'c it was delayed. I'm excited to eventually have both. The texture feel and the size grip texture is fabulous.
I am now waiting for my UAG

Case came, and I can confirm it is NOT too loose. Well, it is a loose fitting design, but it is comparable to the S8+ case. The reviews are being overly dramatic.

The S8+ Level one was super slippery to me - like, crazy insane slippery if you had dry hands, because the back is 100% smooth matte hard plastic. I can't imagine why they didn't give it a little knurling. I was actually considering drizzling silicone sealant back and forth, like a pattern haha. I ended up going with the Flexguard and have been happy.
