Happen to touch the swipe on this version?
I'll be testing it anyway, but just thought I'd ask.
Edit: Nope must not have touched it. Thanks for the update! !!

Excellent can't wait lol
Thanks
Does it support xbox one controller with Micro USB to USB adapter cable?
Bought the app but don't know how to setup. Went to test controller and it seemed the app doesn't regconize the controller at all.
Android TV support would be great
So this app let's you use game emulators that don't natively support hardware peripherals? Doesn't that give worse performance than using an emulator that can handle BT/USB controllers by itself?

You have to map your Controller Buttons/ Analog Sticks just the once. Only if the default assignments don't work for your Controller. After which you just need to create Touch Profiles for each Game(which is just simple drag and drop).
I hope I've been able to clear your doubts.
Hello,
I just bought your app it looks great, everything is smooth except
one thing… the analogs joysticks.
So I can’t play fps or most of the games actually…
When I move the joystick I see that the screen is “touched” at the center
of its position, but there is no slide, no movement at all.
The joysticks work fine in the test section.
I tried with and with and without wrap and with high and low sensivity, no
result :'(
Without the relative touch it’s too messy to play.
I’m running a beta android 7.1 (CM based) on my OnePlus 3.
@AnkitChowdhury in tincore keymapper there is a hybrid touch pointer (acts like a virtual mouse but instead of a mouse click, its a touch)
can you implement something like that? tincore keymapper has always been very buggy for me
its easy to navigate on menus if that is implemented
thanks

Yes that isn't the most difficult feature to implement. But I do not believe Game Controller 2 Touch PRO needs such a feature. Could you possibly provide an example of a use case?

I guess your issue is solved on changing your ROM as confirmed over mail. Returning to Stock would be the best option as Custom ROM's often remove plenty of modules from the Android System.

of course, i do game on TV, plugging my phone into MHL/HDMI cable. without the virtual mouse feature I have to go back to my phone, navigate the menus then go back to my couch and play the game.
this is a hassle dont you think?

I'm developing application that allows you to control tablet with multitouch gestures. Root access is needed. Currently it allows to execute following gestures:
Back:
Swipe 2 fingers from top downward
Home:
pinch 3-4 fingers
Show/Hide status bar:
Swipe 2 fingers from bottom upward
Please try it out and let me know what you think. What other features or actions would be helpful?

There are a lot of requests for status bar hiding widgets or apps. So you just start the application when you need to hide status bar (for example before browsing or gaming). You don't lock your device in the middle of gaming.
In my opinion it is still better than all other bar hiding apps (and I'm talking about free version of my app). You have to click something in all of them (and here you click - start app). Just in my app you have the opportunity to control your tablet while bar is hidden.
But if you think this version is useless, I value your opinion.

I'm developing on 7.7 myself, so it is tested well on it.
You don't get any error messages, notifications on gestures nothing? Does the last button in settings screen (Status bar toggle) works (hides/unhides) status bar?
I'm now using this and works brilliant. Finding the swipe gestures to suit me. Hiding and unhiding status bar no lag. Keep up the good work. Bought full version.

I will add setting to turn off toast message on unlock (when tutorial mode is switched off). However free version will stay for occational use. Application contains a lot of native code that will need support with new versions/devices. And the application is niche anyway. I really tried using this version myself and I find it usefull, but you can propose different model, I'm open for ideas.

The annoying part :
Three very, very small gestures for 1.5 coins...
I'll be happy to buy only one (taskbar hidding ) for 0.49.
This may be a joke...
Once again, the app works great.

Well, there are other apps for this (HideBar - free, Honeybar - 1$), my intention is to evolve the gesture part. Allow to create your own gestures and define your own actions.
Any chance of making the gestures more like the ipad? E.g. 5 finger pinch to home? Its a more natural closing type gesture imo

Changed gestures to multitouch (see first post).
Also fixed a bug that I think prevented actions from working on some devices.
Excellent, thanks!
I just bought it and it recognises my gestures fine but it stopped doing anything after the first gesture?
It still pops up with home etc but doesnt do the action.
If i open the gesture app and disable and reenable the service again it works for one action and stops again
Just for fun, since I hadn't tried it in a while on any older devices, I paired my magic trackpad to the N7. It pairs as a controller rather than a mouse in Jellybean, and it supports multitouch! Take a look at my 5 fingers. Instead of a cursor you get circles like when debugging touchscreen is turned on. Of course, without any hdmi output, this is not likely to become a dockable laptop replacement, but the same should work on my gnex. Portable multi touch workstation!
The major problem is that it still in mouse mode as far as tracking movement -- in other words, you have to keep sliding and releasing rather than picking the exact spot on the touch pad to correspond with the screen.
Enjoy!

Could be something cool incorporated into ROMs in the future settings wise.
I got my trackpad to pair just fine with the Gnex, but the Nexus 7 doesn't see it on a bluetooth scan. What idiot check am I forgetting to perform?
BTW, as much as I hate apple, the magic trackpad is a wonderful input device. I wish there was an android purposed alternative.
Edit: Must press power button a little longer to get trackpad into discovery mode. Carry on.

2010 White Macbook
Hey guys, so I just installed android on to my macbook and it's working good and the wifi works but one weird thing is that the trackpad is recognized as a touch screen so it's kind of difficult to use. Is there anyway I could change it to recognize the trackpad as a mouse? Thanks for any help
On my Mega 6.3 Android 4.4.2 it recognises the trackpad as a mouse device with some mac adress, then reads its name - trackpad bla bla, and then works as multitouch trackpad with multiple pointers according to the quantity of fingers I use. If something is nt working, you probably have to reset it properly. Reset means something like radical unpairing and longer power button pressing until android ask a pin code for pairing.

I am trying now also to make multi touch work with my magic trackpad 2 on android 4.4.2 (Zenfone 5). I pair successfully, but can only move the cursor / click, no multi touch.
I looked around for ways to perform a reset on magic trackpad 2 (that doesn't have a power button) and couldn't find any...
Any ideas / leads for me will be highly appreciated.
Thanks!
[About]
What This Project Is About ?
There are some really cool android devices that are out that include an IR (infra red) "blaster" transmitter, however there is yet no open method of making use of this within apps. This project intends to create an open method for developers to create apps that make use of this device type.
Where does robotics come in to it ?
I thought it would be fun to bring this project together in a way that isnt just zapping TV's on and off so i will construct some sort of robotic platform that will be controled by the Z and its IR transever (however i presume there will be some TV zapping involved as well)
[Progress]
[29/06/2013] Tablet Z has arrived and I have started to examine the data passed to and from the IR device /dev/ttyHSL2
[01/07/2013] Refined the control procedure for the IR blaster & found some of the important commands (get version & send key code)
[08/07/2013] Pushed current code to github (ability to learn and send learnt commands)
[14/07/2013] Updated app to enable in tree building for cm10.1 (see links section)

Github :- https://github.com/BuzzBumbleBee/lib_sony_ir (LGPL)
Current test APK :- https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/15005030/OpenIR.apk
[Building For CM10.1]
As of 14/07/2013 you will need the following patches from the CM review site
1) http://review.cyanogenmod.org/#/c/45560/
2) http://review.cyanogenmod.org/#/c/45562/
And the following git repo (branch cm-10.1) synced under packages/apps/SonyOpenIR/

Reserved
Reserved #2
Subscribed - I would love to see an open source IR feature.
The tablet Z has arrived, im now starting to examine the data passed to the IR device
Looks a nice project, would be keen to see what can be done with the IR remote if there was an open API
Iv had a quick mess around with monitoring the data ...... here is the result (soon to be) totally open powering on/off of a TV
Not bad for the first day
As I haven't got ability to see all the device keys that the IR controller supports I have started work on the IR learn and send features. I hope to publish a test binary (not APK) tonight :victory:
PS turning a TV on and off via recovery ...... gets old fast
when this project is finished will be absolutely perfect.ir is the only serious thing missing from cm(and every other derivative like p.a.c.) and it is extremely useful so some open source binaries and an open source app would be awesome.it could also control other devices like a/c.infrared has million uses...
this project + halo in pac rom can act like the hover remote in sony firmware
looking forward to it

Thats the plan this will work with AOSP roms in its current form, however its easy to develop alongside the stock app to check the functionality.
Just pushed current code to github and thrown up a test APK, find them in the 2nd post of this thread
i have downloaded and installed just fine on cm10.1 nd pacman but evertime i go into the app it as for superuser the first time i allow forever. but i guess it ask for superuser a second time but i get no pop window asking for su permissions. and superuser gets denied a this second check. so cant even proper su to even run app correctly

What does everyone think ?
Looking good, I think there is a lot of unused space on the screen though. I would suggest bigger buttons. Furthermore I think SwiftKey did something really great with their tablet keyboard by splitting it. I would like to have a layout option which supports something like this as well, with many used buttons (like ch+ ch- volume buttons and maybe navigation buttons) on the far left and far right side of the screen.

Thank you for your feedback, ill attempt to increase the button size however i have the intention of adding more buttons (allong with a device type specific layout) however im not brilliant at android UI stuff :/
It would be cool if you could drag and drag the buttons to configure your layout however you like. Straight up bonus if it included resizing like on your home screen. Some sort of grid system?

the device type specifi layout would be perfect.also you could ask the dev of this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2271113 for permission to use his ir code database so that you can have options for many tvs instantly without the need of learning ir codes.he will also benefit from this as the codes learned by your app could be uploaded on his database(same as his app) so both apps will be better

There is a glitch on asus stock rom and the cromix is that the notification quick control option will overlay a bit when the UI is switced to tablet. Feel annoyed about that.

Odd - Can't seem to download with stock browser or downloader...
I am using this preview as my daily driver as it already works really really well. However I have discovered one oddity:
Trying to download a .pdf file from an Apache webserver fails with:
<Untitled> Download Unsuccessful
Message.
Using the ES File manager downloader worked just fine. Using my S3 works fine with stock browser.
Attempts to fix the problem that failed:
-Reboot (Standard windows fix but hey, you never know)
-Clear all browser data and retry
-Force stop Downloads app/service
Workaround for now is simply to download ES file manager and use its download functionality instead.

Interesting. That link works perfectly for me too. The PDF I was trying to access was behind a password I can't share. I'll try to set something up so you can test it too. Wish I had a nexus as another point of reference.

What is SideSqueeze?
SideSqueeze is an innovative and unique app that uses the barometric pressure sensor in your device to detect squeezes and screen presses. It is compatible only with Samsung Galaxy devices from 2017 onwards, although some people have reported varying degrees of success with Pixel devices.
What It Does
SideSqueeze gives your S8/S9/S10 series Galaxy the ability to respond to squeezes, double squeezes, triple squeezes, quadruple squeezes, long squeezes, and/or inertial squeezes, as well as force presses on the screen. For example, you can double squeeze your phone to activate Google Assistant...or maybe you'd like to quadruple squeeze to toggle auto-rotation. And now with Tasker integration, you can even create elaborate tasks to do just about anything and trigger them with any type of squeeze! SideSqueeze's new modular GUI allows you to pick and choose what you want to do with ease.
Features (not all available in trial version)
7 detectable squeeze types (single, double, triple, quadruple, long, long double-squeeze, and inertial)
3 detectable press types (single, long, and 2-finger)
Independently selectable criteria allow you to assign multiple actions to any trigger type (if lockscreen open, if homescreen open, if camera open, if S-Pen detached, if within 5-seconds of power on, if the phone is ringing, if in-call, or if screen is off)
New app picker to launch any app of your choosing
Tasker integration to launch any task of your choosing
Quick Settings tile to toggle detection engine
Wide selection of common actions, such as flashlight toggling, status bar toggling, etc
Adjustable pressure thresholds
Calibration assistant to customize SideSqueeze to your device's unique characteristics
Efficient detection algorithm that is designed to be as lightweight and low-power as possible with no significant impact on battery life
Questions?
See the in-app Help section for answers to commonly asked questions.
Where do I get it?
SideSqueeze 2 is now available on the Play store!

Interesting concept, but I think it's wrong. It's using the touch screen pressure as it's gauge from what testing and results I could fetch.
Correct me if am wrong but I didn't think devices had a sensor for pressure in the reference made out in this app???...

The app detects squeezes by monitoring the barometric pressure sensor inside your sealed device. An algorithm looks for changes of the proper type and magnitude that correspond to squeezing the sides, and an action is performed. Once you learn how to squeeze it, I find it to be reliable. The FAQ (and video clip) describe how best to do it.
wonderfull app man...i'm tested now and work very well
it will be possible to add own applications?

Thank you! Yes, I'll be adding that soon.
Please add support for Tasker. It would be nice to be able to configure the squeeze on a per app basis.
I wanted to give it a try, but it says that the early access program is currently full
I have expanded the limit, and am working on bug fixes.
Great app! Can you provide us .apk so we can test on other devices? Play Store says app is not compatible with my SGS7.
I tried it and the squeezing is wildly inconsistent. On top of that it activates even when I'm scrolling the screen with one hand. Great concept, but doesn't work very well sorry.

That doesn't sound normal, and I'm not sure why. I'll let you know if I find anything out. What device/OS are you using?
Amazing... impressive how it work well, I have a note 8 and use the app all day long, no bugs until now.
Please make more options, like turn off the screen and shooting selfies on camera.
Does not work for me on [email protected] note 8 with case on.

It will not work with a case on, as the dev said, it detects slight changes within the frame, which would be absorbed by your case, and thus not transmitted to the body of the phone itself

What kind of case?
the adb command "adb shell sh /sdcard/grant" returns a "no such file or directory"
nvm it works now after the update. thanks
I like the idea of it, I'm not facing any trouble when I remove my case and SQUEEZE! However, while using the Stand case for the note 8 (made by Samsung) I can't get it to work.
works with cases, just adjust sensitivity. one thing i noticed is that app gets killed quite easily.i have to constantly relaunch it. other than that, i feel like i have a pixel 2!
thanks
