Ok racked my brain on this and tried everything, need advice now. I'm stuck in fastboot. There is no recovery, and I'm not even sure there is an OS Because I can't get past this screen. Tried a factory reset and nothing...everything else options wise on this screen and nothing. Been working on this for four hours now and just want to get it to boot up. Any help?

It seems that your partitions were wiped, since the bootloader cannot get the radio version. You might need to flash a stock rom.
Stock Rom
How can I flash a stock rom when I can't even access recovery to do so?

If you are up for it, you can unlock you bootloader, flash a custom recovery and then flash the stock rom in the development section

Unfortunately the problem here is that your radio partition has been wiped out. It would be better that you take it to a service centre. You won't be able to flash the radio by unlocking your bootloader

Quick question and I'll probably get flamed for this...
Can someone point me to the correct Ruu to reset my phone and still be able to root it/install DamageR_finish rom?
I can't boot in to the device. All I get is the Black HTC logo screen. I CAN boot in to recovery.
Thanks!
Are you rooted? Use recovery to wipe the phone and flash whatever you want.

I've wiped everything several times, tried a Nandroid back up, and a few different Roms.
Still just seeing black HTC logo.

Never mind, I managed to Ruu.
I had to run the ruu once, it would fail out and restart the phone, then I ran the ruu again without unplugging and the PC picked up the connection.
I rebooted my phone to install a font and now it continues to turn on (HTC logo) and then restart. Tried to get into recovery and it just exits...
I had my phone off at night and turned it on - read a few text messages - and went to replace the ****ty font I installed yesterday.
Just looping.
Any help?
Can't even turn it off lol - I would need to go into bootloader and click power down. It is odd - I didn't do anything and it started up perfectly before 5 minutes I did the fonts.
flash the boot and/or recovery?

I flashed the recovery with CWM and installed Android Revolution HD 6.1
I was just wondering if it was safe to re-flash the recovery again to see if it would work. I don't want to screw up this phone lol.
EDIT: Got it. Reflashed the recovery and had to reflash the ROM.
I don't know why a simple font change would screw ALL of that up. I don't want to keep flashing this ROM lol it has been about 4 times now.

You need to reflash what ever was on it. Hopefully you made a backup if not and were on stock find the correct nandroid back or RUU for your phone and flash that. You can also try doing a factory reset that may bring it back.
agreed...try to re-flash everything to stock than go from there to find what is causing the problem.
Alright so for the past six hours I have been trying to make up for my mistake. I accidentally tried to flash the color os rom like most others and failed to read. I know stupid, right? Anyway, I cannot access recovery. It just goes to the HTC logo, says I can access bootloader, and I have s-on. However, I have tried to flash a new recovery image and it says okay everything worked and it still does the same thing. So does that mean I am no longer rooted? I just need to figure out a way to get a rom back to my phone, since obviously it erased everything on my sd card. Thanks in advance. Anything will help.

Problem is fixed I ended up flashing stock recovery through adb and the using the ruu kit and got it to work after re locking my phone
Really trouble because of locked boot loader and stuck in boot loader with stock recovery. Try and with no luck cannot fast boot flash anything because it always ask for unlock boot loader allowed in developer mode. Don't understand google on this features at all. All is stock if anyone have anyway to tick the box without boot or force flash with locked boot loader.
your only option is to rma it. theres no way to fix your error.
@tanipat
Sorry, but there's nothing you can do under the situation you describe. You will have to return it for repair/replacement.
thank you both pf you guys my problem is that Motorolla is no support here in Thailand anymore. the device is import from US. So i ho anyone able to find the solution on this, still dont understand Google to enable this issue without proper flash firmware in spite of all in my device is no root and all stock, really dont understand at all why we cant fix it in spite of it is all stock like this hurrr

well, its a security feature. to prevent people stealing your device, then factory reseting it to set up their own account. if there was a way around it, it would make terrible security.
So if you hit start it just goes straight back into the bootloader?

Was this phone ever working? Why did you do Factory Reset?
bootloader log says
invalid boot image size!
fails to validate boot image
fastboot reason: Fall-through from normal boot mode
USB connected
Oh my friend seem i screwed it up like you said. it is expensive paper weight now.
i just wanna reset it because i will give this phone to my friend who have lost the phone, now i dont think he needs expensive paper weight!

If your device is bricked, and your bootloader is locked and you do not have TWRP recovery installed, then the only thing one can do is return the device for repair or replacement.
On the other hand, if bootloader is unlocked and/or one has TWRP recovery installed, then it is relatively easy to fix.
still no findaway method so far? of it is possible for me to adb push from stock recovery? Do we have that kind of firmware.zip other than factory image flashing?
Hey, was just setting up my mi5 for custom roms. Got the bootloader unlocked, then installed TWRP via fastboot as per the instructions here (https://twrp.me/devices/xiaomimi5.html).
After I got into TWRP I made a quick backup of the image, and then set the phone to reboot. Now its in a bootloop, flashing the mi logo (and bootloader unlock on the bottom). Doesn't turn off, doesn't do anything when plugged into pc, fastboot reboot doesn't do anything.
Any ideas? Didn't think I had done anything wrong (done this kind of thing a couple times before).
Cheers!
EDIT: Hang on, managed to get into fastboot, I guess I should be able to sort things out from there? What should I aim to do. I can also get into recovery. Still won't boot into system anymore though.

Which twrp version are you using?
Did you actually flash any custom rom or do you try to start miui?
Did you change any partition?
Something similar happened to me one time. I solved it by doing the root right after installing the twrp. And magically started my rom.
