A little heads up that after initially registering on the LG promo site, i received a confirmation email that "within 5 days" id receive a "submission approved" email. After about a week, they hadnt emailed me a confirmation of approval, so i simply called them and they looked my submission # up and basically approved it while on the phone. Im also waiting for delivery of the 128gb card from the USA T-Mobile promo.

Yeah, kinda thought the same thing, but, you know, gift horse and all. So it's all good. [emoji3]

Might want to edit your post.
It says Samsung instead of Sandisk.

Interesting. For that charger, does it suggest you simply plug it in and leave the spare battery in it all the time, forever? Or is it more of a charger that you use until the battery is charged, then remove the battery to avoid wasting power or possibly reducing the longevity of the battery?

How many days did it take from registration or email confirmation to delivery?

Awesome. Thanks for showing us the pictures! Now I know exactly what to expect today.

In the pics of the cradle, you'll notice a little charging light at the top of the box. It's red in the pic, but it goes green once the battery is fully charged.

you have to define "confirmation" b/c I received an initial confirmation of "submission received" on june 1st immediately after I uploaded my box pic and proof of purchase on the LG promo site. but after that, they never actually sent me any sort of confirmation "within 5 days", and that's why i called lg cust svc. so, from the day i regd on the LG promo site, to actual receipt of delivery was 12 days. however after i called lg on the 11th, they emailed me that day with an "LG G4 Promo Submission Status" and i received the actual package in basically 2 days.

Thank you. I believe I will give them a call tomorrow to see if it speeds the process along.

i actually called them again today b/c i hadn't heard anything about my 128gb sd card T-Mo submission, and the cust svc rep immediately told me "we've had many people call about this, and I am unable to give you an answer. all questions regarding the promotion should send an email to XXXX" which is the email you'll see in your initial submission confirmation from LG. so he stonewalled me. but, don't hesitate to call. i had NO problem getting through, and they're super polite and prompt. gotta love korean culture. maybe you'll get a different response. i'm curious to hear what your experience is with them.

Actually just got my approval email this morning. Submitted 6/6, got confirmation email on 6/11, approval on 6/16. Things moving along nicely. Now to wait for the email letting me know it shipped.

Does the charger cradle stop charging when the light goes green? My concern is the cradle is not as smart as the phone, and if you just leave it plugged in all the time with the green light on, the charger will just keep trickle charging forever (instead of intelligently stopping the charging, and maybe topping off for a few minutes each day). I'm just wondering also because when the phone is fully charged, it gives a little warning to unplug it to avoid wasting power. Maybe the cradle similarly should be unplugged once fully charged, to avoid possibly shortening the battery life due to constant trickle charge that is unnecessary?
Put another way, my concern is the green light on the cradle is just to let you know whether the battery is charged, but the charger itself is not smart enough to intelligently keep the battery healthy while topped off at 100% if left plugged in, and instead goes for a simple route of switching to a small constant trickle charge that is not ideal for battery health over the long term if you just leave it plugged in all the time.
Does the cradle come with detailed fine print I can read over, or is it just a quick guide that shows how to plug in the power cord?

i understand what you mean, and you're right. it is not an "intelligent" charger based on what i've seen. that is to say the green light doesnt go off once the battery is charged and so it appears to still be charging though completely charged. and, no, there were no detailed instructions that came with it.
update about the 128gb card:
i emailed lg yesterday about my submission, and today received an email that it has been "validated" and the card has been shipped.
idk if me emailing/calling them expedited the process, but it was weird that they validated my submission each time after i contacted them

Just got mine today. Twelve days turnaround is pretty good for free stuff

Nice to know. I mailed the info to the PO box shown in their notice. I sent the copy of the sales receipt (from Best Buy) and the end of the box, showing the IMEI. Seems Best Buy does NOT include the IMEI on the sales receipt on a pre-order, which mine was. So I mailed all this crap to LG on June 8, three days after I bought the phone.
The letter was registered, with a return receipt.
Having received absolutely nothing from LG in the interim, I went back to the Post Office here in Long Beach, and inquired why it had taken nine days for my letter to reach all the way to Santa Ana (20 miles away), and what was going on???
The nice lady at the PO checked the tracking number and found that my letter had hit LG's mailbox on June 10, two days after I mailed it, and LG hadn't yet gone to the trouble to pick it up!!
So I hopped on the phone (a very nice Moto G) and called customer service. The guy at Customer Service said send us an email, and we'll look into it.
So I figured the hell with LG and their Mickey Mouse operation. It's almost like trying to deal with One+ or Saygus.
I boxed up the phone and returned it to Best Buy.
I can make do with the Moto G, which is not a bad phone, and my phone provider, Consumer Cellular, which is outstanding.

Genuine Battery Cover + Battery from Bestbuy Black Tie

For anyone who added the black tie protection/insurance plan when they bought their nexus s from US, you can call and request a replacement battery. Also you can say that your battery cover's cracked/missing and they will send you another battery cover as well. all they did was confirm my shipping address and shipped it off the next day.
I just received both of them today in the mail (took 4 days).
Just thought id let any of you black tie members know before yall spend 30 bucks on the battery cover at http://www.globaldirectparts.com/Googel-Nexus-S-Battery-Door-p/smsng6098530.htm (note the minimum order of 2 but i guess you could always end up selling one)
Im not sure if you can get on the black tie protection if you havent already when you purchased the phone. its $10 a month but i might end up cancelling since I already received the replacements and i hear a lot of horror stories about the repair process when you have to send in the phone for repair.
You can cancel the Black Tie Protection? Normally I'd expect a pre-termination fee to be paid should you elect to cancel before the end of the program.

Did you get the battery? I was considering doing this as well, I just hate calling this stuff in. Is there an online form or anything like that?
I've got the Black tie, I had to have this phone insured somehow.
Do they make you send the old ones in? I'd do it just for an extra battery.
Nope they don't make you send it in. Yes I got it already. Took about four days to process and ship. Just tell them you broke your back cover because you dropped it and they'll send it to you. That's the great thing aabout accidental damage warranty.

yes it does. exactly the same as the normal battery cover.
My back cover got all f'ed up from trying to plasti dip my battery cover... so this is great news for sure!
Is there a certain number you call to get this done? Thanks!
Call the geek squad number you can find it online. Whoever you call they'll probably just end up transferring you to the right number
I figure the BB insurance it worth it. The phone is still quite pricey if you were to damage yours in the next few months.
Mine slid out of my pocket when I was driving an it knicked the corner of the phone.
Thanx for the info OP, i'll be calling this in tomorrow for sure!

You can cancel anytime. There is no "contract" when you sign up for the protection thus you can terminate your monthly charges whenever you want.
if someone have one extra battery cover and wants to sell it, please just PM me.

Since I have legitimate problems with both my battery and back cover, I gave the Geek Squad 800 number a call. The first representative I spoke with sounded like he knew what he was doing. Unfortunately I needed the part number from my battery and was talking on my Nexus S. When I called back I spoke with another representative who seemed a bit incompetent. He said he placed the order for both parts but I would have to call them back in 7-10 days. I asked why I had to call back since the order was already placed. He was unable to give me a clear answer and mumbled something about having a bunch of orders and someone had to review the case. I nicely told him the case was very straightforward...my parts are bad, I'm entitled to new ones. He still gave me the runaround. Oh well. I'm sure I'll get my parts eventually...hopefully sooner rather than later.
Do you know if this can be on sell ?

Issue with Ebay, what would do?

long story, bought refurbished Evo 4g off Ebay 5/11/12, received the phone, wifi and bluetooth did not work, messaged seller (via Ebay), they responded within 30 min with an apology and asked me to ship back for an exchange. About a week later I received the replacement phone, this one was a mute, made no sounds at all, I sent another eBay message and got a response saying they were sorry and to ship it back and the "boss" will pick me out a replacement and they offered to refund $15 for my shipping costs. About a week later I received the 3rd phone, this one was DOA, would not power on or charge and the camera lens looked like it was polished with 80 grit sand paper. I wrote them back asking for a refund, they offered a full refund plus 25%. They received the phone last Thursday, I sent them messages everyday after asking about my refund without a response. This morning a did a dispute with ebay and withing 1 hour I got an email saying they offered a full refund, when I looked at the details not only did I not get the refund plus 25%, I got the original $139 minus the $15 they refunded me for shipping. I called ebay and they basically said I'm on my own. Here are cut and paste from my ebay messages starting with the original defective phone. I don't know what to do from here
5/17/12 Dear chubbiestech,
Hello, I ordered an refurbished Evo 4g and received it yesterday from Ebay packing slip order # shows 14953 (33029) Order was under Brenda DiMichele. The unit was in great condition and activated perfectly however whenever I try to enable wifi or bluetooth it just says error. I spent 2 hours on phone with Sprint who referred me to a store. The tech at the store said the WiFi and Bluetooth are on the same chip and there is something wrong internally with the unit. I called your store today and spoke with Josh who said to email thru Ebay to request an exchange. I love the phone itself but I have to have working WiFi and Bluetooth. How can we go about setting up an exchange?
Their response,
Dear **********
I am sorry to hear there is a problem and I will be more than happy to help, it does sound like the phone is defective, can you please send it back for an exchange my address is below and please include your full name and ebay user id with shipping. I am sorry about the inconvenience this may have caused.

40-12 28th st unit R1

2nd phone.......
5/24/12 Dear chubbiestech,
I appreciate the fast service and I received the phone yesterday. I activated it when I got off work and the first thing I checked was the wifi which did work correctly. However the speakers on this phone do not work at all. There is no sound during boot, music, ringtones, speakerphone are all silent. Even when changing the ringer volume no sounds are made. The only sound I can hear is during a phone call, but even then if I put it on speaker phone it goes silent. I will be shipping this unit back today. Where do we go from here? I really want an Evo 4g and I even bought accessories but it seems like I have bad luck with them.
Their response,
I am so sorry about that if you like we can do an exchange my boss with personal pick one out for you and I will refund you 15 & Again I am so so sorry
Third phone,
5/31/12
Dear chubbiestech,
Normally I'm a very easy going person but my patience has run out. I received the 3rd phone today and it is DOA. Will not power on or even charge. I can hook it up to the charger you sent with the phone or one of the multiple chargers I have of my own and the unit does not charge at all. Normally when you plug in a charger the green led lights up until fully charged then it turns amber. I can plug this phone in to every charger I have and nothing happens, no lights, nothing. I attempted to power the phone on and it does nothing. On top of being dead the phone you sent my has what looks like an unusable camera, the lens is looks like it was rubbed over sand paper meaning there would be no way to get a quality picture or video. I was told the boss would hand select me a phone, I feel offended in that there is no way this unit was tested before it went out. With all the other issues I had I would have expected a working phone in excellent condition and instead I received another phone that does not work and in poor condition. At this point I will be mailing the phone back tomorrow and I hereby requested a full refund immediately.
Their response,
am so so sorry . I will give you a full refund plus i will refund you 25% I am so so sorry
- chubbiestech

Called Google regarding the screen on my N7

So I called Google this morning, yes on a Sunday, and was getting ready for one of those phone fights (well more like an argument over the phone, the kind you have when you call your cell provider for additional charges or handset replacement). We all hate those calls because they end up with bad news most of the time. Anyways my new toy, the NEXUS 7, started to make little creaking noises, like when you step on hard wood floors, every time I dragged my finger towards the left side of the screen(holding it portrait). I was reading online about all those problems they were having and was sad to see that mine was like some others I seen online. I was disappointed and to add more to it it started bleeding light on both sides but more on the left. So back to the call. I was expecting for an automated message or a long menu that was going to end up telling me to call during businesses hours. To my surprise I was on hold for like 5 minutes and talked to a real person that was so pleasant to talk to. I stated my reason for calling, he asked for my Goggle account and said "sorry for the inconvenience we will send out a new one to you and you'll get a label with return information to send the bad unit back". I was speechless............ no fight, no wait, no long story, no problem at all. Dam today is a great day. Great Sunday.
So I just wanted to say if you got a bad unit Google will happily replace it. I'm sure its going to take like a week or two because their sold out but hey, I'm not complaining. Just call the NEXUS help line bellow and that's it.

16gb N7 UK ordered 3rd July.
But you have to wait until a "tech" reviews the case though and they will send you an RMA email right? Because I did the same thing last night and was told I will be contacted by someone who reviews the case...
They said I'll get a conformation email from a tech and that's it.
I'll get a new one then send this one back

That's positive news. Please keep us up to date on how it turns out.
I just gave Google a call after reading your post and got a rep in under a minute. I told him my N7 had the screen separation issue and he said they'd start the replacement process no problem. He said that they'd be emailing me in the next day or two to confirm some details and they'd send me a replacement soon. He also said that the 16 GB model being backordered wouldn't delay the shipment of my replacement.

I have the same problem. And yes I too was told that I would get a new N7, but only after my case was reviewed. The rep I spoke to said that I would receive an email or call. To the original poster, you may want to give Google a call back just to verify the process.

I had the same problem but 1000 tomes work screen was jumbles and rotating and screwed and they shipped it out Friday over night and I'll get it Monday from what I know they have a "secret stash" so they can handle any faulty units.
So I requested an RMA Thursday night for the screen lift issue and finally got the instructions for the replacement unit this morning. I'm wondering, has anyone had their replacement unit shipped out yet? I'm in no rush, but the instructions do say I have 21 days from replacement "purchase" to return the faulty unit. I was hoping to keep using my current unit until the replacement unit arrives, but with the shipping fiasco going on, I wonder if I'll get it before the 21 days is over.
I was confused about that.
The email I got from Google Play support says I have 21 days from the date of the delivery:
RETURN YOUR ORIGINAL DEVICE
You’ll need to return your original device to our service center. Additional charges for the full price of the device will be incurred if our service center doesn’t receive your original device within 21 days of your replacement delivery

I guess I'll do it within 21 days of the order just to be safe.
Anyway, I placed the order for a replacement on the 19th and it hasn't shipped yet.
I just got off the phone with Google support...was on hold waiting for someone to pick up for about 5 minutes. Everything went very smooth they're sending me a replacement device. He said it will take 2-3 days to process and then my replacement will be shipped. He also said sorry for the inconvenience he understands my frustration Lol......he stated that it was a manufacturing problem with the screens

Thanks for the info I just looked at my n7 and notice the screen lifting a little so I'm on hold waiting to talk to someone right now.
i send them an email regarding the heavy display bleeding problem on my nexus. should i call them?
the only thing that keeps me worried is the fact that nobody can guarantee that the replacement will be without issues, there seem to be many display issues ATM...

When you factor in the number of people on these forums having issues vs the millions they manufacturered and sent out, it's still a small blip on the radar. At least they're taking care of the issue instead of just sending everybody a rubber case to band-aid the problem.:laugh::laugh:
Yeah, for those who don't know, their support line, at least in the US, is open 24/7. I don't know if it's temporary for the launch or permanent, but the rep I talked to the other day said call whenever you feel like it and to try to avoid peak times.
I was so surprised with their customer service too! They were...pleasant. Crazy, I know lol I've called twice in the last couple of weeks and the reps were extremely helpful both times. Google gets a +1 for the good customer service! (even if it does take forever to get connected to somebody lol)

Returning defective device - Google trying to charge me shipping and restocking

The email they sent says I will likely be charged 15% fee and the shipping because it's open.
Spoke with play store rep and he said they will forward my concerns to a specialist. It's ridiculous that this charge is not returned automatically. If they end up not refunding it I will have to run a credit card dispute.
Anyone else had a similar situation? Did Google refund all your money? This is enough to make me never order from Play Store again

You left out the details. Tell us the whole story.
Nobody charges a REstocking fee for a defective device. They dont restock them.
If you just didnt like it then they have a valid claim.
BTW this is CLEARLY mentioned in the agreement you entered into.
The e-mail probably says "If no defect is found, there will be a 15% restocking fee."
That's pretty common for electronics because there are so many people that use companies to "rent" tech gear for a weekend, vacation, etc. and then try to return it when they are done. Back about 15 years ago when I worked at Best Buy, that was the reason digital cameras, camcorders, and laptops had that kind of policy. Otherwise the store would take a pretty big loss on people doing stupid crap like that. Imagine every knucklehead who bought a camcorder for say $500 (at the time) and then returned it after their vacation saying they didn't like it or whatever...well, the company probably only made about $25 profit on the camcorder to begin with. Now they have to pay a tech roughly 1/2 pay to check the unit from end to end to make sure everything works correctly, etc. Then they have to sell it as an "open box" item which would normally be a 10% markdown. So basically they sell at a loss of $25-35 just because someone wants to abuse the return policy. Hence, a restock fee of 15% to cover those costs.
So if you send a fully working unit back to Google and you lie about it being "defective" then they have to sell it marked down as refurbished, pay someone to very a defect that is or isn't there, etc. They are already selling these at no profit from what I understand...I think a clause like that is perfectly reasonable.

Agreed, 99%. The proof will be in the pudding, however, in this sense: what does Google consider a "defect"? Is a tiny bit of screen lift a defect, or normal manufacturing variance? To Google, it might be construed as the latter. To us, it's something that could get worse over time and end up causing major problems.
Same thing with the serious color temp variation I've now seen on two units. My original had what I hope is the "normal" color temp, which is a bit cool but that provides decently "white" whites and good contrast. The replacement (for screen lift and a dead pixel on the original) has a much, much warmer screen, with a dingy yellow tint and significantly less contrast. Whites on it look like there's a thin layer of urine between the glass and the LCD--gross, I know, but the best way to describe it. In fact, it's the first thing my wife said when she saw the two sitting side-by-side--"Did someone pee on the one on the left, or something?"
Would Google argue that this is acceptable, that's it's just "warmer" and within specs? Perhaps. Would I be "lying" in saying it's defective? I'd say not. And that's where Google's commitment to customer satisfaction comes in. They can be picky and charge me the 15% restocking fee, thus making it far less likely that I ever buy from them again, or they can let it go and keep a customer. And given all of the very real issues with this, and the fact that people are going through multiple units (and hassle, and setup, and loss of Play Music device deactivations if they tested music on them, etc.) to get good ones means that really, Google should just accept returns without too much hassle or they risk making a bad situation worse.
We'll see, because I'm sending the replacement back and getting another for that reason specifically.
>Would Google argue that this is acceptable... They can be picky and charge me the 15% restocking fee, thus making it far less likely that I ever buy from them again, or they can let it go and keep a customer.
It doesn't matter who is more "right." What matters is that it's Google's call. That's why peeps should buy from a retailer and not directly from the manufacturer, as it's generally easier to get your money back when there's a dispute.
"I won't buy from Google if they charge me restocking fee" -- Google would probably be happier if you buy from a retailer, as then it wouldn't have to deal with end-user support. That costs a lot of money, not to mention a lot of aggravation.
If you mean you won't buy Google wares in general, it's an empty threat. Most peeps here have a vested stake in Android, of which Google's Play store is the, umm, nexus. Google's Nexus toys still have the best support. You can of course forswear Android altogether and jump ship to...Apple, who is even more dictatorial? Or Microsoft, who has yet to have a tablet out?
>We'll see, because I'm sending the replacement back and getting another for that reason specifically.
Exchanges don't incur restocking fees. Only refunds.
BTW, display temp variation isn't normally considered a defect. It depends on the severity of course. But if it requires a side-by-side comparison to see the difference, then it's not "severe."
>The e-mail probably says "If no defect is found, there will be a 15% restocking fee."
The 15% restock fee applies to all refunds. There is no exception for defective returns. That doesn't mean you can't browbeat some rep into waiving the fee, but that's the normal policy.
E.mote, you're always so pedantic. That, and you must really type quickly.
Anyways, yes, the yellow tint is clear even by itself. Like I said, urine and all that.
That said, I'm personally not concerned because if anything ends up wrong with whichever one is the final one and Google wants to be a pain, then I'll just process the return through American Express. Never leave home without it.

Shocking as it would seem, not all of my replies cater to your personal predicaments. The prior post was more directed at the OP's obliviousness to warranties and return policies. Then again, it does reflect on your own situation, doesn't it?
As to being a pedant, I'm guilty as charged. I tend to pay attention to terms of a sale. It beats the alternative of ranting and raving on online forums of the "ridiculousness" of vendors when they enforce those terms.

Fair enough, and of course I was referring specifically to the public relations aspect of this launch vs. the letter of Google's policy. That's what made you pedantic, in that you were picking apart the details of my post while largely missing the point.
Incidentally, I haven't checked Google's policy too carefully but most retailers (which is what the Play store is) don't charge restocking fees for defective products.

Hi,
I bought my Nexus 7 8GB from Google Play Store UK and I had a minor flickering problem when the screen was set to Automatic Brightness/Low Brightness.
I also had a very minor problem with the front left of the display which felt slightly loose. I emailed Google via their Help Centre asking for a replacement device and received the following email:
Hi there,
We've received your information and will be in contact with you as soon as
possible. We're experiencing extremely high volumes at this time, so
please expect some delay in response. If you have anything else to tell us
in the meantime (additional details or new developments), feel free to

This email seemed too complicated for a simple exchange of a device so I replied saying I no longer wish to exchange the device. Reasons being, I can live with the minor problems and the system they use to exchange the device is just too long for me. (I am use to seamless service from Amazon). Also I was not sure if Google/Asus would regard my defects as covered under warranty, so I didn't want to take the risk of being charged extra.
I am still waiting for a reply to confirm that I can keep my current device and that no replacement will be sent. I hope they don't complicate this any further and charge me for no reason.
Saw people abusing Best Buy's flexible return policy all the time, so I can't blame Google for imposing a restocking fee. When you buy something, you should check into the return policy before you purrchse and purchase accordingly.
Where did I say I would never buy a Google product again? I just said I will never buy from Google Play again.
I didn't leave out any information; the screen has light bleeding, the USB plug doesn't always register when inserted, and there is a problem with internal storage showing the correct amount..looking like an 8 GB device instead of a 16 GB even though serial no. states otherwise.
Worst case scenario I will initiate a credit card dispute and get my money back in full either way.
Most companies charge a restocking fee for returning an item (at&t tmobile verzion etc etc), However i agree with the people that are getting charged to exchange/replace a defected item is crazy and i would never pay it

I told the customer service person that I am receiving a full refund no matter what Asus says. I know that the screen was cracked when I first opened the box.

When I called Google to check on my refund....
I pre-ordered the Nexus 7, and received one with a lifted display. I sent it back for a refund, figuring they needed a few weeks to get their QC act together at Asus.
Two weeks after returning it, I called Google to check on my refund and explained my frustration about how UPS says Google has had my defective Nexus 7 return for ten days and I still haven't seen a refund (or even an e-mail acknowledgement from Google Play that they received it). The customer service rep told me the refunds take from 2-3 weeks. I mentioned that that seemed like a long time, and his response was,"Well, if we decide your device is not defective you won't even get a full refund, so keep that in mind." Veiled threat?
This is a great site, and I appreciate all I've learned from it already.

Oh yeaaahhhh sureeee, I can imagine that conversation right now.
ME: "uh, hi Google. You forgot to charge me for the Nexus 4 but you shipped it out to me anyways"
Google: "thanks, we must of missed it. Let me go ahead and charge your account $400"
ME: "thanks!"
Dude, it's just that the authorization timed out. They WILL charge you again for the package. I really doubt that they would give away a free N4 just because they failed to meet the November 15 shipping estimate.
I've also received a tracking number, and no charges are on my card. Is there anyway I can tell if there were pending charges on my credit card that were removed?

Not sure, but for me I had my account charged and the money taken out when I ordered on the 13th. Now that money has been returned and I can't see any history of google charging me or giving me the money back.
It's possible it could of timed out like the person said. But I could be mean and take the money out, then deny googles charges indefinitely to my bank.

You were never charged. It was an authorization HOLD. Your money was on hold (and thus unusable), but was never taken out of your account.
If Google does not take the money out within a certain amount of time (varies from bank to bank; my bank debit card is a couple of days, but my Amex credit card is a full week), that authorization hold expires. Money was not returned to your account because it was never removed from your account. This is perfectly normal, and all that it means is that your bank's authorization hold period is short.
Google will charge your account (and take your money out), probably a few days after shipment.

I just called them and told them some orders were not billed. They were grateful for the heads up and said they'd go through all the shipped orders and charge the ones they missed.
For people with long hold periods (or who didn't have to wait as long for shipping), the process will look like this:
1) Order placed.
2) Account authorized, and money is put on hold, unusable.
3) Order ships.
4) Account is charged, the money is sent out, and the transaction is converted from "hold" to "posted".
For people with hold periods shorter than the time it took to ship and charge, it will look like this:
1) Order placed.
2) Account authorized, and money is put on hold, unusable.
3) Hold expires, giving you the false ILLUSION that you are off the hook.
4) Order ships.
5) Account is charged, the money is sent out, and a new transaction appears, but as a completed, posted transaction, not as a pending hold.
Tried this once. Happily spent the money while thinking they are morons. Month later I had debt collectors on my door. Still paying the ****. Got many threatening letters for courts. So dont make this mistake.

I just called them and told them some orders were not billed. They were grateful for the heads up and said they'd go through all the shipped orders and charge the ones they missed.

Shipment lost or stolen
If your device fails to arrive or you suspect it was stolen before you received the package, please email us so we can remotely disable the device and issue a replacement. Google pursues loss claims directly with UPS.

I wonder what that means. IMEI blacklist for accessing Google Play? I'm imagining they won't be trying to blacklist it with TMO/ATT.
I'm assuming if somehow the charge didn't go through for some reason and it's enroute, it'll get "disabled" if you kill that card number before they potentially try to charge it again. Or if they try to charge you before it gets delivered and it fails, they'll have UPS send it back.
They refunded me 2x for my nexus 7 an after that deal pre-order i keep it.
