Dear XDA,
My phone is thoroughly not working correctly...
I've been trying to fix it several times. But without succes. I cannot update my rom, kernel, baseband etc... It just fails and stops working. I've tried OTA, through nvflash and CWM / TWRP
My phone is rooted. Or so it seems. Below my phones information

Your phone is running the old firmware with hboot 1.44 + a 6.09.401.11 custom rom, you won't receive ota update with this config, you'll have to reset everything back to stock. Post the output of "fastboot getvar all" minus your IMEI / Serialno.

It could be rooted, can't tell from what you posted but probably it is NOT rooted, and from the fact that it is LOCKED says that it has the OFFICIAL ROM.
Hope this helps

Hi all,
I have an unmodified, unrooted HTC One which I purchased recently. It's on 4.2.2, and it doesn't find any updates. My friends' HTC One devices have already updated to a recent version.
Is there anything I can do to force the device to update? I've tried every possible trick I could find (killing some processes while in airplane mode, etc), but nothing helped. Anything short of unlocking the device and installing Android Revolution HD?
Here's some (possibly relevant) data:
Kernel version
3.4.10-g28df0d6
[email protected] #1
SMP PREEMPT
Build number
2.24.401.9 CL235216 release-keys
And some info from HBOOT:
*** LOCKED ***
M7_U PVT SHIP S-ON RH
HBOOT-1.54.0000
RADIO-4A.17.3250.14
OpenDSP-v31.120.274.0617
OS-2.24.401.9
eMMC-boot 2048MB
My CID is: HTC__K18
Any ideas?
P.S. From what I gather, unlocking/rooting this phone is pretty much straightforward, right?

You can update to 4.3 if your carrier supports it. Yes rooting is pretty straightforward just follow the instructions carefully to avoid any trouble
Problem solved by using http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2251800 and finding a random RUU for the m7tmo.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I recently tried updating from CyanogenMod 10.2 to CyanogenMod 11 using the CMUpdater. This update failed using TWRP and would not boot into the OS. I have access to the bootloader and recovery still. I later came to find out that I need s-off for CM11/4.4.1. When entering TWRP (Version 2.6.3.3) I'm prompted to enter a password, if I cancel it, seems to just take me right back to the actual recovery.

Hello guys,
I have a problem. A Friend made an OTA Update at his HTC One(M7) and it may installed not properly. So now the Phone has a Bootloop. Firmware, Rom, Recovery and all are Original. What can I do to make it work? To use warranty and send it in is only his last choice.

The first possibility that will not void the warranty is to flash the latest RUU which will (should) fix the phone and update it to the latest version at the same time. Flashing a RUU will wipe everything on the phone. The ruu you need is the 7.19.401.2 version. You can download it from this thread:http://forum.xda-developers.com/htc-one/general/lollipop-ruu-zip-small-collection-t3053944. You need to use the fastboot version mentioned in that thread.
2nd option is to send the device for repair if it still under warranty.
3rd option (will void the warranty) is to unlock the bootloader, flash a custom recovery, flash the 6.09.401.11 stock rom, reflash stock recovery and update.
