First time installing CyanogenMod 7.2 to your Galaxy Ace, or coming from another ROM:
Install ClockworkMod Recovery 5.0.2.8
Reboot into Recovery using 3-button-combo
Do a Nandroid backup! (Optional and only if you weren't running TouchWiz before)
WIPE (wipe data/factory reset + wipe cache partition + format /system partition)
Install ext4formatter
Install the kernel provided at Download links
Reboot again to the Recovery using 3-button-combo
Mount system, data and cache
Install the ROM from sdcard using ClockworkMod Recovery
Optionally install the Google Addon
Upgrading from another build of CM7?
Do a Nandroid Backup!
Wipe always recommended but Optional.

Wifi Tethering is a bug of base rom but whats wrong with play store. Explain it as play store is working for me

yes playstore update bug. i fixed this problem. use playstorefix.rar on @Trickster22 kitkat rom

You can try installing latest play store version. Download it from apkmirror.com then install it as any normal app and overwrite it. Then try flashing this from recovery - http://www.mediafire.com/download/95eh8ybl4917m9t/playstore_492-498-fix_EXT4.zip

its a good rom i enjoyed it so much but it has some problems, when ever i shutdown automatic brightness it won't boot and i must reset it to factory settings through CWM.
another problem is themes cant connect to server for me
i wish there was a way to use buttons light as notification light
also there is a messaging app in xperia U miui rom which has an amazing priavte messaging(you should scroll up in messaging to see the lock and after openning you can see messages of your private numbers) i wish this port of miui had that messaging
I added FlyOnMod in the three first reboots it hanged but after that it got so fast thank for your advice
I love this rom so much that i don't think i change it

Our device's libraries are not compatible with auto brightness. So better turn it off.
Themes problem is related to base rom but I am finding solution for it.
Button light is not a pre MIUI feature but I would try to make it work.
I would try port as many features I can find compatible and messaging too.

- Go to CWM Recovery.
- Make a full nandroid backup.

Yes they are working
But APN are not saving(I think because setting cannot recognizing SIM)
I will try to fix that, but if any one have a solution pls tell me that...!!

There are lot's of difference on edowar & My ROM.
ICS Rotation & transition animations, Theme And lot's of other stuff if you go Though setting's & lot more cool stuff is coming...!!

Instructions :
1. Install flashable zip in CWM which also installs script manager to user apps. (So it will be easy removable afterwards)
2. Reboot to android, open Script Manager (In the app drawer), select run as root.
3. Browse to system/xbin, select the file named ‘’V6’’, ONLY mark the crossbones tab (SU) and run the script.
4. When you are done configuring it to your liking, run the script again to see if its 100% supercharged!
What does it do ?
V6 Super Charger makes your phone super snappy, fast with better multitasking management. It rearranges and fixes Out Of Memory (OOM) Groupings, Priorities and LowMemoryKiller values to make your low RAM device fast, by freeing memory when possible.
What the complete package wants to achieve :
- Entering your PIN with minimal/no delay/lag

What's up with the CRT animation? Will it work in the next release? And also the lockscreen is not fully resized. Settings are still stock. I will play a bit more with it.
EDIT: As I see the AOKP build 2 is used. So that's why no CRT animation.
EDIT2: Some resizing work is needed. I tried everything but the statusbar is too fat or the text is too small.
Looks like rushed release, skipping it for now... phablet ui is unusable. It also contains paid apex launcher...

Well, i'm using it and I think it's pretty great. Thick statusbar is not bothering me (except on lockscreen, but I can deal with it). Tablet UI is working awesome with Trebuchet Launcher and i'm using softkeys too
If you have problem with lockscreen use pattern lockscreen..it is also big but hide all other thing under it. And we feels it is ldpi modded

This is not my work. The port of Miui.us to I9000 was made by Brad Heffernan (Link to Original Thread for SLIMUI 1.x and Here for SLIMUI 2.x).
My philosophy
Android has to be slim. It's all about user's own personality and individuality. Stock should be all customizable and as lightweight as it could be. Your phone must trully (hence freely) express yourself, otherwise go and buy an iPh... lol.
BASE
It's JellyBean 4.1.2. Hats off to MIUI Team for all of the beauty they added to a otherwise highly performant firmware. Also nothing of this continuous development would be possible if not for our phone's unsuspected brother, the Nexus S. And finally, big thanks to all the hard workers of the original porting to GT-I9000.
SPECIFICATIONS
NOTE: All features defined here are relative to the build 1.3
- Installation: I prefered the usual simplistic installer (not Aroma as in original)
- Bootanimation: Changed to match Miui.us logo
- Kernel: It has Semaphore 2.50sv, the only version with fully working Aroma Filemanager (you can even change permissions in CWM Recovery!)
- RAM: hugemem patched (390 Mb) with 720p recording and playback
- Modem: KB5, however it will not override your current one
- Display: It is 201 DPI.
- AriesParts: Yes, it has advanced Galaxy S controls (color tuning, in-call volume etc)
- Launcher: MiHome Launcher, it's Miui exported to non-Miui ROMs. Has preincluded Theme Manager (working with no need for Xiaomi account)
- Keyboard: Q2 Keyboard. Free, fast, customizable.
- Slimui Tuner: Aroma Installer add-on with all missing stock and Slimui/Mi (flashable in cwm)
NOT INCLUDED
- GAPPS: it has no (hopefully) google elements, apart Android (lol)
- A lot of Xiaomi stuff.
- Some Miui.us apps
- Libs and framework files that are not used (?)
KNOWN ISSUES:
- GPS: works, but it's Vibrant, lol. It has my tweaks, it doesn't use gps.conf, I doubt Vibrant ever uses it.
- 911: I don't know (and don't care, sorry US users: EDIT: See post No.2). I use Mr Psycho's RIL files (original Galaxy S files), which are CM9 so you were warned.
- Settings, About phone: Wrong available internal memory displayed. I don't know why, it is on every Miui 4.1 ROM.
- Lockscreen: It may behave strange on unlock (doesn't freeze, it simply doesn't show up). Maybe a MiHome Launcher issue (?). Solved in latest builds.
- Themes: Due to changed DPI some packs might not apply.

INSTALLATION
Warning
Make a Nandroid backup of your current ROM first! You MUST have correct partitions before you proceed (see CM 10/JB 4.1)! <== It seems there are some exceptions though

How to:
- Copy zip to sd card
- Reboot to CWM Recovery
- Wipe Data, cache and dalvik cache
- Mounts-->Format system
- Install zip.
- You may flash now the Slim GAPPS
- Register to Google and Enjoy!
NOTES: On basic release (no AIO), you may install Slim GAPPS whenever you want, feel free to taste the pure flavour of Miui first!

- Framework.jar patch for Mediascanner wake-ups bug (credits...Shoman94, thread here)
- Init.d: Removed scripts for scheduler and governor, were broken. New scripts for better Sd Card read/write experience (Benchmark friendly , thanks to Blackbean team and neobuddy)
- Browser: Baidu Browser instead of Miui stock one, a very powerful chinese browser (english translation). Credits to Baidu team.
- Keyboard: New Sony Ericsson Keyboard. Credits to _Sparks for porting it. Many languages and good prediction.
- Important: Superuser.apk replaced with Miui Security Guard. Fixed Su bug from 1.4 build (partial root)

Installation notes for Slimui 1.5 <<<Prime Nostalgy>>>:
- After the first boot, let it sit 5-10 min, then reboot
- It builds caches very slow, I don't know why (Miui 4 bug?). However thereafter it should be very fast

This is finally a slimmed down android version for the Vibrant. I tried requesting a version like this but never had luck. I will definitely install this when it's available. Thanks again

Flashed it but I keep getting android.process.media has stopped so I can't really test/play with it. I tried clear data from framework, play services, market, media storage, I tried fix permission in recovery etc, no go.
Edit: I did another full wipe and system format and its good now.

I didn't include the GoogleContactsSyncAdapter.apk in the ROM, I didn't use it. But be careful, flashing GAPPS may breake your Playstore if it's not multi-dpi (use only the Slim Gapps, it works flawlessly on dpi 201).

I'm not quite sure if it is a bug or not, but in the google account, contacts does not appear so they are not synchronized to the cellphone, or maybe it is just my phone.

I just flashed the ROM, let it bootloop, rebooted into recovery then flashed ROM again and worked good for me coming from CM7

Sorry, i'm a bit confused again, do I flash GT-i9000? (i realize vibrant is t959, but the way you word it in your other post makes it sound like the i9000 will fix it for us as well)
edit: Tried it, just not working out, looks like the default miuihome is much better, and using that in system/apps doesn't work because it can't make any widgets, even with root permission.
Very fast ROM though, nice job.

If you have flashed cm10-.1 or any cm10-.1 base ROMs you are fine. Just flash it.

The lockscreen was the SMOOTHEST i've ever had, and I'm trying to get that on the other MIUI rom.

Actually it comes prebuilt in the launcher (MiHome).
What do you mean when you say you couldn't add widgets to the desktop? I have no problem adding any widget or folder I want. Just long press on homescreen, scroll the lower bar and you can also check out in the "More widgets", the last button to add others.

I liked the lock screen but had troubles with it. It would disappear, after I unlocked it and then turn screen off it would not reappear when I turn screen back on until I rebooted.

- All "Mi" apps: they are MIUI, modded or ported. In case of MiHome, it feels faster and has integrated Theme Manager, which won't ask you any Xiaomi registration.

Shoot I used up 150MB of precious 3G data flow only to see this doesn't boot at all.
Meanwhile I was able to grab an incomplete logcat, the device doesn't seem to always connect to adb so it's hard to get this, really.
Log Cat is crawling and yawning in the attachment - hope @blindndumb grab him and shave off some useful info. Looking forward to this ROM's becoming fully operational :fingers-crossed:

Me too, this is what I get after a full wipe (except SD):
splash screen > no boot animation, all black > then black screen and buttons illuminated but nothing happens...
MD5sum is good.
I'm re-downloading it, just in case...

It must be HW Composer as far as I guess, Just shooting an arrow in dark.

is this fix supposed to be flashed after we flashed your ROM. if yes then i donno how this is possible. Becuase as soon as we flash your ROM, it takes you out of recovery and starts the splash screen and then stuck.
but if this fix is to be flashed before your ROM then it possible....
so when to flash?

Well , adb reboot recovery always help anytime the device is connected to PC
However try extracting the file from the fix and put/overwrite it in the correct directory (system/lib/hw) of ROM.zip and flash

So anybody tried the fix .

How to Install
1- Boot into TWRP and do a FULL WIPE (dalvik ,system ,data ,internal storage ,cache )
2- Copy ROM Zip into internal storage
3- Install C9/S8 Port ZIP (Users who face random Camera FC , Reflash this new fixed zip)
4- Reboot into System and wait around 6 minutes .

Good iam looking forward to hear you feedback , and focus on the camera , if it gives random FC sometimes.
and for the SMS limitation i think eleo already gavea solution on his NxTeam thread for that , and you can also use another 3rd party SMS app.

I m using stock 4.4.2 can i flash it over 4.4.2 or should i install at least 5.0.1? ( In case i want to go back to my back up rom stock 4.4.2 with some mods can i return from this rom back for example to my previous back up rom by using the restor zip from twrp which i have already made?) sorry for my really bad English ;P

I start using this rom, and it is smooth and stable. But i have one big problem. Call don't work. I start calling, and dialler show up, and nothing happens.
Also with comming call it the same problem.
How can i solve it ?

Unfortunately before you could be able to use this ROM you have to flash the Latest Stock ROM via Odin first ( to get the latest Modem and Bootloader)
and for your question the answer is YES , if you make a FULL backup using TWRP ( it should contain everything including the boot and the Modem ) then yes you can restore it.

For now everything is ok.
Sometimes i have problem with camera, (camera stop working). Several time.
But generally camera works well

appearently you flashed the OLD zip of the Rom , i fixed the Camera Fc in another Zip wich is uploaded now and replaced the old link.
if the Camera FC will bother you , you will have to clean flash the Rom again using the new link.

Is there a way to enable blue light filter?
I just flashed the rom twice and the apps in the debloat list on aroma didn't install at all including camera app. Developper options are not working too and cause settings to force close..

This is a Highly Debloated ROM not a normal use ROM.
this ROM is made for people who stick to the minimum of minimum.
@X-Ninety you are the first one complaining about the camera. idk if you did a full wipe or not before u install it. so give details about what you did , and yes the developer options cause Setting to FC , due to the high debloat of other APK that may interfere with it.
What you wanted from there anyway ( just curious )

I was on LOS 13 with the latest modem/bootloader and used TWRP 2.8.7.0 to wipe everything, after rom installation, patch and reboot nothing is installed except phone/clock/messages/calendar. Camera app and other apps on debloat list aren't there even if I unchecked them..
I need game launchet please...

Try with the twrp-3.2.1-0 , do a TOTAL full wipe , then flash the ROM , boot it (without the patch ) then after booting it flash the patch.
