[Q] charging problem in custom roms - Xperia Z3 Compact Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I had no charging problems with kitkat or lollipop.
But with custom rom (like carbon), charging stops by itself after some minutes.
I tried stock kitkat and lollipop again. And still there is no problem.
But unfortunately, whenever i install custom rom (like carbon), charging stops by itself in some minutes..
# Do you have any solution about this problem?
- P.S. : I have no problem while charging with usb connection.

[ISSUE] N1 not turning on after installing wired tether kernel

i m on a rooted n1 and after installing the 1.6 kernel (probably noob move from me) my device does not turn on (stuck at cross picture).
i can get into recovery after taking the battery off though
anyone have any suggestions to solve it?
never mind,i did a NANDROID backup and everythings fine
I've actually had this problem twice in the past two different roms (cm & enomther). Both times I had to do a nandroid restore to fix the problem.
The only connection I can make is that both times my phone was plugged into a usb port when rebooting (neither time was this after a fresh install).
Any chance you were plugged in via usb at the time?

[Q] Omni - Force boot on charge?

Hello,
I have a N7000 running Asylum Omni ROM.
I put this device in my car so I use it for music, navigation, OBD2 monitoring etc.
I know that with tasker I can shut it down when the device is not plugged in on charger.
What I'm looking for, is a way to start it automatically when I turned the key so it is connected to the charger.
I found scripts and tested it on Omni but didn't work.
Maybe a custom kernel could help? I'm running Asylum Omni stock kernel.
Thanks for the help!

[Q] Can't charge the battery enough to flash working rom

Hi guys
I have pretty similar problem to the one described many times at xda, but...
None of mentioned solutions works... or I do sth wrong - if so, please enlight me.
I have:unlocked bootloader access to flashmode only for a minute or two bootloop with stock kernelWhat i have done?:-flashed custom kernel at recovery
-tried to rom, but sth stopped it or slowed it down, and when battery got low - phone rebooted with bootloop
-googled some posts about it - found out that maybe leaving phone with dc charger will charge my z1 despite it constantly trying to boot - done it over whole night
-in the morning boot up recovery and TWRP showed me that my battery was 1%.... -.-
-found somewhere that i should flash stock kernel and leave it with dc charger in... done it by charging a bit from usb.... (connected with VOL- -> red led for a while -> flashtool recognised as flashmode -> managed to flash stock kernel)
-its still bootlooping (just with different logo) and i cant charge enough to flash whole stock FTF...
My question is... how to charge it...?
leaving it constantly bootlooping doesnt work (tried whole night)...
trough usb it charging to some point, then bootloops as if it was dc charger....
cant find got wo charge maybe trough fastboot mode... Maybe you guys know how....
Please help

I messed up my phone; Phone is showing kernel logo for some 20 minutes and shut down.

Hi,
I was trying to install stryflex rom (http://forum.xda-developers.com/xpe...-stryflex2013266073-lp-official-sony-t3180637) on my xperia yesterday. I already tried stryflex in November but it had some bugs so I had to move to 4.3 rom at that time. I successfully installed stryflex yesterday but touchscreen was not working even upon multiple restarts. I thought to re-flash whole thing. Don't know how but I think I accidentally flashed some other files in kernel via flashboot software and after that phone was not taking any charge. Showing red led even after charging for more than 1 hours. I checked few kernels and installed William kernel using that .elf file and flashing as 'flash kernel' option in fastboot mode.
After that, phone is starting but showing William kernel for some 15-20 minutes. I tried doomkernel and it also showed it's logo for some 20 minutes and shut down and restarts again. Phone is still not taking charge and showing red led. I think it is not taking more that 1-2% charge.
I don't know what to do. Please tell me solution in schematically way.
Also, how installing custom roms works? Which process (installing rom, twrp etc) comes first and which last.
Any help would be highly appreciated.
Thank You

if you can flash kernel via flashtool its great, but doomlords or William kernel looks like dont support offline charge so if you have at leats couple percent of battery try to flash some costum roms ,
i recommend this few steps:
1. flash doomlord kernel ( .elf) or lates cynogen recovery ( .img) via flashtool
2. if you flash it , try to put phone on charger if you have low battery (0-10 %) , or if you have over 10 %
ps. Lastest cm recovery should support offline charging
3 .just flash costum CM 12.1 form sd card
ps 2.( "Phone is still not taking charge and showing red led. I think it is not taking more that 1-2% charge. ")
its seams you have couple percents of battery , so installing cosutm rom should not be a problem
anyway let us know what happend
