Hi, does the S6 Active SCREEN work with leather gloves?
Can someone PLEASE answer this . I understand there is no "glove" mode like the old S5 used to have
I don't have leather gloves to test this with but I writing this with a glove on my right hand and my left hand is bare and there's no difference and the glove I have on is as thick as a normal leather glove

thanks so much for that!! I cant understand why Samsung took that option off the std S6. At least The Active S6 looks to be the phone I will go to next after my Standard S5, mainly for the camera.
thanks again

Nice! i've just been looking at that! (not the white one tho)
Can you post some pics please?
Just received mine this morning, for the money it's a fantastic case (the carbon fiber effect looks a little cheap but fine for the price and it's well made) and the magnets and stand work perfectly!
Here's a link to the one I bought

I quite like the Carbon fiber lol. Has a premium feel to it and the stand is very sturdy thanks to the support on the back. Have the white to match my S3 (Not my S2 in the background, that's my colleagues')
I've had this case for a couple of days and it's a bargain for the price, feels solid, the lock/sleep function works well and the N7 fits snugly inside, I have a few niggles such as the stand doesn't work very well in vertical orientation (may just require some more breaking in of the pleather), and the velcro strap that holds the N7 in place causes the case to bulge a little on one side. But I'm not sure you can really expect perfection from something in this price range, the free stylus/pen is a nice addition too.
Just ordered one myself today.

Hiya i also purchased the ghub pro pop carbon fibre case (in black not white) which was great but i love the pen and would have happily just paid the 10 pounds for the pen. Im forever using my tablet even when I'm eating so the beauty of this pen for me is that i can use the tablet without getting the screen dirty. Im guessing they must of sent you a wrong one in error
I need to find some a couple more of these i know I'm going to lose the one i got free with the case. Hopefully they will sell it separately as well i have emailed the seller GHUB
also brought a bluetooth speaker called sw50 from the same seller as well to stream the music from this device and also from my s3 phone @19.99. check it out its louder than my bedroom hi fi
anyway just signed on to thank whoever started this thread as he lead me to the right case which also arrived in less than 24 hours as well
thanks
Hi to all.
Few minute ago I read on Ebay Store that a S VIEW FLIP COVER exists.
But, I have viewed that it works only for Galaxy S4.
Could someone help me for more details?
Thanks on advance for your time
With this link someone could understand better what I really wrote above

Pretty neat indeed...
Well i guest that will work with newer touch wiz that come with android 4.2.2

It can't work even on 4.2.2 or 4.3, simply because the Note 2 doesn't have magnets or something that makes it recognize the cover. So no S View on the N2, that's fake.

What are you talking about? It has those holes so when people are calling you can see directly into it. Those cut outs are where the name and accept reject text is. No need to flip it open! It has NOTHING to do with magnets inside it. It's just a hole in the cover to see who's calling.
It doesn't like this when you're getting a call.
Man, the Note 2 can't recognize you're using a cover. S4 can because it has an Hall Sensor (magnet) that makes the phone know it’s closed by magnets and it only lights up that part of the display so you can read notifications without removing it, Note 2 doesn't have that sensor, so it's pretty much useless to buy that kind of cover for a Note 2 in my opinion.
You can either search for that flip case with a a transparent front and cut out holes, or buy a normal flip cover, cut out holes where the answer options & name pop up.

It has holes for the area that lights up when someone calls. It doesn't need a magnet. When someone calls you with or without a case on the front that's where the information is displayed. So while it doesn't have a magnet and make use of the features, it doesn't need them for that case. I've seen a ton of people with that kind of case! It's to have a flip case and not have to flip it open every time you want to see who's calling. But i agree, there is no magnet. But this flip cover doesn't need magnets to be useful.
I got myself one of these: http://www.ebay.com/itm/MERCURY-GOO...CASE-FOR-GALAXY-NOTE-2-II-N7100-/321157898786
it'll show who's calling and i just hit my home button to answer. As for the screen I used UCCW to make a notification type thing for texts/calls/mail/battery. I always wanted a flip case but I would like to know who was calling without flipping the case everytime.
has anyone used an active pen here on their z3tab? What would you recommend a good one for note-taking?
I would like to know this as well, and what apps supports it?

As far as I know for an active pen to work, one would need a display with a built in digitiser. AFAIK the Z3TC does not have one (I just tried the active one I have from my Vaio Duo 11 [N-Trig] and the one from my Thinkpad XT [Wacom] just to be sure).

Not necessarily. Stylus like adonit jot touch is just a normal capacitive stylus until you pair it would bluetooth on an ipad. It becomes an active pen that has a palm reject support. The ipad screen is nothing in special, it's just a normal capacitive screen. The sdk for bluetooth support on the stylus is built in on ios itself and apps like goodnotes take advantage on it. Surprisingly, adonit works really well (i think it's more accurate than s-pen when it comes to screen output calibration.

Always use a screen protector with the adonit as the dust particles under the disk could easily scratch your screen....
Yes you're correct on that. I ordered a tempered glass from ebay but it came shattered

Hey all, I was doodling with the spen this morning and noticed there was about a quarter sized area that would not recognize any pen input; however, touch still works perfectly. Has anyone else experienced this? I will add that I recently put a case on that has a metal kickstand and also tested the case with the wireless charger... the spot seems to be about where the wireless charger would have made contact with the metal kickstand. Is it possible that the case amplified the charger and fried the digitizer/sensor? Any fixes? I am still within my two weeks and will probably end up just exchanging the phone out if not.
I've been hearing that if your case as a magnet in it for the kickstand then that could create a dead spot.

You were absolutely right... taking the case off fixed the dead spot.. which sucks because I really like that case. Wonder if there is a good way to shield it

I had just received the Obliq with kickstand through amazon.https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B011WD7OUM/ref=mobile_oh_details_?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I really liked it...might try to put a little circle bandaid or something on the magnet to dampen so I can continue use. Hopefully no permanent damage or anything.

People have been saying that the Seidio Dilex Pro doesn't cause any issues with the Spen. Mine will be here Friday so I can test it though. I have the Dilex pro from my S6 edge right here and it seems like the case may be shielded or something behind the kickstand so that might be why. http://www.seidioonline.com/mobile/Product.aspx?ProductCode=BD2-HT2SSGT5K-BK

I actually was thinking about that case. That deadspot does suck though. Other than that, how do you like the case though? Feel like it protects the phone well? I'm still considering it. I haven't TRULY got to play with my phone yet since I've had it and i dont know all of the features of the S pen so im not sure how much Id actually use it
Hey there, I have massive clunky fingers and use my mobile for much coding on the move. I miss the old days of hardware keyboards and I'm not ready or willing to loose root to get the blackberry.
I have noticed many nice bluetooth slider cases for older mobiles like galaxy s4 or even iphone 4/5/6 but none for the s6 edge.
I noticed samsung released a nice one for the edge plus but I cannot find it for the standard s6 edge.
I'm looking for either a case that slides a keyboard from the bottom like the htc blueangel/priv. Or at the very least slides from the side.
I dont want a leather case with seperate keyboard or fold close keyboard as I like my screen and fear for scratches.
Any help either with instructions to make a case or places to buy would be brilliant.
Thank you

This seems really good, www.slimtype.com it's only available in the US at the moment but I have contacted them and they are due to release here sometime this year. If you know somebody there, you could get them to order it for you.

Ahh, Looks brilliant. I was scared to use flip covers but this looks like it will protect the screen more than the generic plasic clunky brands. Thank you muchly. This is the reason I should invest in a us forwarding address.
I'll order and post review
Thanks again
