Volume Question - AT&T Samsung Galaxy S6

So one thing I'm noticing is kind of weird is when I increase the volume on my S6 Active, it only does it for the ring tone and not the notification tone too. Is there a way to have the side buttons control both ring tone and notification tone at the same time? (like on HTC's phones)

[REQ] Service that changes volume on plugging in earphones

One thing I've... noticed about my G1 is that it blasts my ring tone through my earphones when theres an incoming call or some sort of notification.
What I would like to see is a small app running as a background service that changes the ringtone/notification volume to some pre-defined or user-defined level.
Is such a program even possible to create?

[Q] Notifications Volume too low

Hello,
I've noticed that the notification volume is too low. Do you know how to increase the volume? I'm using stock ROM.
Thanks.
I think it also depends on the notification sound itself. For example I found the postman-sound very quiet and hard to notice. Now I changed to something different and I can hear it a mile away.
just increase the notification volume in sound section in configs!

[Q] How to increase volume on ringer and notifications

I find the maximum volume on the ringer and notifications on the S3 mini way too low. When the phone is in another room I am not able to hear it ring or if receive sms. I use the exact same audiofiles that I have on my S2 and my iPhone and they both have much higher volume.
Is it possible to boost the volume of the built in speaker somehow? Or is a limitation on the speaker itself?

Weird sound issues

Hey guys,
I am having weird sound issues with my new P10.
When setting ringer volume to certain level, it seems to only work with the ringer when somebody calls.
It does not have an influence on WhatsApp, Gmail, text messages etc. These do sound a LOT louder.
So, I can control call ringer just fine, but basically cannot control the volume for app notifications. I also tried to lower the volume for alarm, media etc, but these apps seem to be connected with the ringer volume slider (which is of course what one would expect) but they are much louder that the call ringer.
This is my first Huawei phone so I was hoping to find some setting for this, but no luck. This is really annoying. If I do not want Gmail notifications etc to be loud, I need to lower the ringer volume to minimum, but then I have issues to hear when someone calls
Any idea what is going on?

P10 Plus
The P10 Plus has a same issue.
Yep, it looks like notifications sounds are not only too loud but also still present when sound is "muted"
as a temporary workaround I reduced the volume of the notifications by editing the notification files on my pc. but I am really hoping that Huawei is going to fix this soon.
sound settings do not affect videocalling with facebook messenger on my P10.

Getting rid of the alert when switching to sound from vibrate

Does anyone know if/how to get rid of the two-tone beep that plays when the sound mode changes?
I’m new to the Galaxy line, coming from a Nexus 6P. When the sound mode goes from either vibrate or mute to sound, there is a two-tone beep. IIRC, this did not happen on my 6P. On this phone, when I have the mode set to mute at night with an alarm set, I get this two-tone beep right before the alarm tone I’ve selected. This is a problem because I have a tone set to increase in volume slowly, and that beep kind of defeats the usefulness of that. It also is intrusive if a meeting goes a bit too long and the phone automatically switches to sound from vibrate.
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
