I'm facing a big issue since two weeks:
I've replaced my wifi_supplicant file on my tab (froyo rom) and rebooted the pad.
As soon as I turned the wifi on, a few seconds later, it automatically disabled switched off.
So I decided to flash a new rom (stock gingerbread). This time, the pad keeps rebooting after switching wifi on. Also the bluetooth can't connect to any device.
I flashed again a stock froyo rom, erased everything etc... the issue still remaining.
I noticed that other people are facing this problem but I tried everything (flashed a new modem, many roms, custom roms etc...) , the wifi and bluetooth doesn't work.
Do you have any solution?
Thanx.
Hello
I've recently aquired a 32GB Touchpad and i'm trying to find a good rom. I received it with CM9, and i installed CM10. I must have made a mistake somewhere (perhaps wrong google apps) and chose to flash a CM10.1
This worked perfectly, except camera and bluetooth.
So i chose to flash again a CM10 and now bluetooth and camera are working, even though switching off BT causes a reboot. This acceptable, but the gyro has it's axis switched.
I'm at loss here, which rom should i flash that has most if not all it's hardware working ?
Closed. We don't allow comparisons. Try them and see
Hi all,
I'm trying to repurpose my Nexus One as a wifi security camera with ipwebcam. However, the camera seems like it won't work on any ROM I feed it. Now I read a lot on ROMs having broken camera support, but all of them?? I remember the camera was working perfectly before I started flashing it, so what are my options? I tried pretty much every rom available - CM7/10/11, Evervolv, TexasIce, HyperSense, and the camera is always crashing or non fonctionnal. The phone is rooted, blackrosed to partitions 260/8/168, and the recovery has 4ext touch with the sdcard partitioned to 4ext.
So, is there something I'm missing? I would love to create my own ROM that would ditch the calling/phone/3g features to make it more like a super ipcam - with flashlight support, wifi, bluetooth, and gps, but I don't have those skills.
Also, torch is also not working, if that can help.
Any help is appreciated!
I remember that IP Webcam worked with stock 2.3.6 for me. Now I have 4.4.4 (CM11 by parkedraccoon), I just installed it again and it still seems to work although it was just a short test.
Does the app crash instantly on startup or later on while streaming?
Hey there, I installed this havoc os rom on my redmi 4x just to make this phone alive for some more time, but what happened is it wasn't registering my google account, after multiple attempts, turns out IT WORKS with a different network (wifi), as if google has blocked my wifi(don't know), since then i tried multiple roms clean installls and same problem. I logged in into google services with different network and now when i operatr it with wifi, YouTube takes too much to show results, Google voice doesn't work.. idk what happened. Rest of the rom is fine, is this any problem with GApps? I flashed nikgapps basic version. How the heck is my phone tracing that network even when i delete everything before installing new rom.
PLEASE someone tell me what to do, tell me a different stable rom that Just works!, i want to give this phone to my mom for basic use like phone calls and YouTube. Can't flash mi roms because they don't have on screen navigation buttons and this device's nav buttons do not work so that's what i flashed a custom rom in the first place.
Well, I connect a Bluetooth device, such as Bluetooth headphones or Bluetooth in a car. I try to call someone on the phone, but the call doesn't go through. The information panel shows that the SIM cards are not activated, then after a few seconds, they reboot and become active again. If I make calls through the internet, there are no such problems. Restarting the phone doesn't help. Resetting network and Bluetooth settings doesn't help. Resetting Bluetooth devices doesn't help, so please don't suggest obvious solutions, I've already tried everything simple. The problem is definitely not with the headphones; the problem is with the phone itself, but I can't figure out how to solve it. I didn't find anything useful on the internet. The phone is Xiaomi Poco M3 Pro 5G. Android 13.
Does anyone know how to solve the problem?
p.s. everything worked fine several weeks ago.
Android 13? try reflashing the firmware and the MIUI once again from the stock rom from thirdparty websites, or just use the a12.1 custom rom although its not a13, its working and everything is just awesome, no issues at all, and its AOSP so its much better than MIUI
