[Q] Playstation app crashing when starting - Xperia Z3 Compact Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

So as the title says
I have a Z3 Compact and everytime I open the Playstation app it crashes.
The playstation app works fine on carbon rom but not stock, My bootloader is locked and I am rooted.
I have tried clearing cache / wiping data / uninstalling / reinstalling, nothing works...
Anyone have any suggestions?
EDIT:
Fixed this by wiping data and restoring everything but the playstation app

[Q] Market has stopped downloading

I've been using Rocket Rom v22 for a while and it's been great, but from about two days ago the Market has stopped downloading. It says it's starting but all I get is the bar moving but no actual progress.
I've followed Googles instructions and cleared the caches and data, I've logged in and out of Talk, I've uninstalled Market and reinstalled from Titanium backups and apks, I've rebooted umpteen dozen times, I've booted into recovery and cleared Dalvik and the cache and still nothing.
It's driving me nuts at this stage, has anyone got any more ideas to try?
may be its rom related. try to reflash the rom.
yes. must be rom related only.

[Q] everything keeps closing.

Hi
im on custom jvu 2.3.6 and everything keeps closing
the dialer and messages especially
There is no force close at all.
It started about two weeks after i flashed it. It gradually gets worse and worse sometimes they stay open sometime not.
I re flashed and the problem went away but came back.
Anyone any ideas how to fix this.
How can i back my phone up so I've got all my messages and numbers.
Kies does not find the phone but oden does
thanks
I advice you to wipe cache and dalvik cache via recovery or delete data of the applications that cannot working fine via "Settings"
I've wiped cache and delvik that didn't work. Ill try delete data
Can't find the option to wipe data from each app
its mainly message and call app that's the problem
Go to "Settings">"Applications">"All"

You could try titanium backup or rom toolbox, long press the app and you will get a menu to clear whatever, but in titanium select the app, clear data,
Fixing the permissions via cwm might help also

Google apps not working, VIPERONE ROM

Hello everyone,
I'll explain my problem: a few days back, I unlocked bootloader, flashed CWM and flashed Viperone rom (2.7.0) Everything worked fine.
This morning, my google apps weren't working (gmail not syncing, can't login to youtube and can't watch videos (even though I get all the thumbnails) but internet works fine... When I open the play store, all I get is "No connection" and "Retry"
I tried clearing data but to no use
I then tried wiping cache and dalvik cache in recovery mode, when rebooting, my phone got stuck in a boot loop with "process system isn't responding"
I held power button and volume - for about 10 sec and it rebooted fine, gapps still aren't working though...
What can I do to resolve this issue ? (without losing data if possible)
Thank you

you could wait and see if it is a problem with google servers which it probably is other than that i would wipe and reflash
I solved my problem by following the instructions in this thread

[Q] Android 5.1 Play Store Google Apps hanging on "Installing"

Hey guys,
I flashed the factory image of the shamu's Android 5.1.. After I booted it up and signed in, I rebooted to bootloader, flashed TWRP, and rooted. The phone is rooted (as far as I can tell).
When I go onto the Play Store to restore my apps, any time a Google App is updating, when it gets to the "Installing" piece, it hangs and doesn't do anything.
If I Disable that app and reboot, it will do other apps, but every Google App is failing..
Edit: I tried to wipe cache and "Dalvik" cache, still no luck
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance!
Had the same problem. Factory reset fixed it.

Xperia z snapchat login error

Okay, i recently rooted my xperia z lollipop version ever since my snapchat isn't working or loging in.
Firstly after root it didn't load snaps and stories after that i logout and tried to login again but after minute or two loading Error shows up 'could not connect to the server'. Though my id is working fine on ipad mini.
NOTE: i tried reinstalling, cache cleaning everything but it just won't login.
Many people seem to have this and I am also one of them since a few weeks, it is not my account because I downloaded the latest version on a different android phone and it worked fine
It works fine for me but is too laggy, for instance it takes time to load filters and keeps crashing and freezing and eventually force shuts itself.
Note: This was also the case before rooting.
I had similar problem: after installing xposed I couldn't login with error: "Ops, could not login, try again later" or something like that.

It works fine for me you might need to do a few things to make it work tho.
1. Uninstall xposed framework not the apk
2. Clear Dalvik cache and Cache
3. Boot device install snapchat sign in
4. Boot to recovery flash the correct xposed framework zip
5. Boot device and enjoy.
