How did she respond? Was she receptive?
I would probably go the ODIN firmware flash route.
That's not gonna work tried that. Tmobile said there is a service outage that could be causing this problem and could be fixed soon.

I tried to reset to factory from within the device but its still broken. Please help!
SOLVED:
For other that might have similar problems, what I did NOT do was do the OneClick.exe step. The directions made it seem like we could choose to do method 1 OR method 2. So I skipped the oneclick and went straight to .tar step which for me at least broke the wifi. When followed both methods together it worked.
Thanks!
It'd be a good idea to change the title of this thread to something less slanderous. You're not sure why your wifi stopped working, and the title comes across as blaming the dev of root de la vega to me. Perhaps something along the lines of "Wifi stopped working after rooting" would be more appropriate.
i downgraded via DG's leaked firmware and it actually fixed a few things believe it or not and i dont even get that your wifi is unstable message anymore.
try re downloading the files maybe you got a bad download. then reflash
WIFI works for me after root. Even WIFI tethering works with FoxFi.

I agree I have never seen root break wifi I don't think designgears would have released it. I've used his work for years and yet to have any major complaints

Like others have said I would definitely change that title. You probably broke your own Wifi by not checking MD5's or not following instructions.

With your current title the way it is your likely to get little to no help around here...
It clearly says "Flash at your own risk!"
"You" seem to be the only one with WiFi Issues, so what is it that "you" are doing wrong?
He skipped the one click Odin step in the instructions which is why his wifi is not working. He was still on ml9 and didn't downgrade to ml1.

Oh so it wasn't the De La vega root that broke your wifi, it was you then. I don't think just adding solved to the title changes the fact that you accused the rooting method of the phone for your wifi issue. I think you should take that out of the title to show a little respect to the guy (DG) who busted his a$$ to get us root.

Hi Guys,
Can you please advice where I might have gone wrong? My wifi is not working.
My device is flashed with the below CSC, CP and AP:
CSC - N9005OXABMI6_CSC.tar.md5
CP: N9005XXUBMI6
AP - N9005XXUBMI7_VEGA
Does these combination of CSC and AP looks correct?
I have not tripped my KNOX flags. Rooted using de la vega method.
Thanks in advance

Can you go more in detail in how you fixed it. I'm having the same problem.
Yesterday,
I tried to PRL/Profile update and it did not work. Just sat in a updating holding pattern. I reinstalled the ROM and it still did not work. What do I do?
Is my phone broken?

Try it on Wifi, it is finicky especially if on LTE sometimes.
If that doesn't work switch to CDMA only and do a restart before trying.
Fixed by installing new 4/7 update from themikmik.com

I know this sounds weird, but try clearing your hosts file. /system/etc/hosts. Open it like a text file (any root explorer would work). Either delete it or just delete all the text inside it and reboot.

I've tried the following but I cannot get group Messaging Option (checkbox within stock messaging app) to stick: removing apps, reseting default, format cache, format data, flash back to stock, and odin. The best result occur immediately after flashing via odin but shortly after, the option disappears again.
Any ideas?
Any confirmation that this proble/option persist on custom roms?

I was on Tekhd lollipop rom.... It worked.
Now I'm on stock MM, it works.

Put of curiosity, did you flash or odin to stock? Reason I'm asking is because I'm wondering if my problem is stemming from tmobile sending a shadow update or if my issue is hardware related.
New phone. Old phone messed up

Went ahead and flashed a rom and now messaging option is back. Maybe my problem stemmed from accepting ota rather than not clean flash via Odin.
