I see that there is not a definite tutorial for solving soft brick involving Nubia Z9 mini.
If your Phone boots up showing the Nubia logo, then read on to solve any brick involving the Phone.
THERE IS NO NEED TO WAIT FOR THE PHONE TO DISCHARGE..!!!
MY PHONE HAD THE SAME PROBLEM AND UPON CONNECTING THE PHONE TO PC GAVE :
67 MB Drive having showing "Image" Folder and a bunch of partitions asking for formatting.
NOW TO FIX :
First Step : Press & Hold (Volume Up + Power) keys together.
Second step : After the screen turns on following Step 1, Press & Hold the Power key. phone now turns off.
Third Step : With your phone now turned off completely, Now you can boot into boot options by pressing (Volume down + Power) key together.
Fourth Step : Boot into Fastboot or Recovery as you wish..!!!:laugh:

Unbrick your Nubia Z9 mini using "Nubia Toolstudio V 4.6.90."
Step 1: Connect your phone with Your Computer PC in "Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008" mode by pressing volume -,+ and power buttons, press all three buttons Simultaneously for 15 sec. (Note: Driver need for PC for connection, I used Nubia emergency tool 1.0.6 for driver purpose, don't use it for recovery purpose.)

Step 2: Install "Nubia Tool Studio V.4.6.90" in Your PC.

Step 4: Extract the firmware that you have downloaded, and shows the file path of Firmware folder. (Use any one Firmware file "Z9(Mini)_NX511J_XVV" or "Z9(Mini)_NX511J_XVV2".)
Step 5: Click "Start" button, it will start download to your phone's emmc. After completing download 100%, your phone automatically restart to normal, and you will be happy:laugh:

I brick my lg f160k while flashing wrong kdz on it. It was in no download no recovery mode. Pc was showing qhsusb_dloade 9008. I searched alot over the internet to unbrick it but found nothing except a thread on veitnam site by a veitnamis developer. Thanks to him for this useful thread. With the help of this i unbrick my cell. It was very difficult to understand the thread while in Vietnam's language but i managed to do so with the help of google translator. I thought i should must share it on xda to English community for easy umderstading. Hit thanks if you get your phone back. And many thanks to veitnamis developer too....
1. Download the qualcom drivers and install it from given link.

Open device manager and ensure that you have correctly installed qualcom 9008 drivers. Remember the com port
2. Download and unzip this folder

3.IMPORTANT. You will have to choose folder S For F160K and S and for F160L and LV choose Folder L.

In Ap chipset choose board
For F160s and F160k
D1L(MSM8960 SKDA)
FOR 160L
D1L(MSM8960 LV)
Select Com Port shown in device manager of your computer.
In TARGET DIR Choose the Folder of Named S or L according to your modal, As i told you earlier in step 3
Rest all should be unchecked
PRESS START

bro if your download mode is working then you will have to flash kdz of your modal for f160k I think its 20k. you can find the latest kdz many sites. google it lg firmware you can find it on vietnam site lgviet.com
this programe is only for qhsusb_delod mode. no download no recovery state. if you have download mode then kdz is the way to unbrick

Have you installed qualcm drivers first? If no then do it if yes then in board ap choose msm8960 it will work. But if doesnt then there is 1 more 8960 selection try that

This programe is for qualcom devices. If your experia is qualcom based then it will work. But u need to find the files to flash doe your modalm I have loaded only f160 system files.

If after restore aboot phone not power on
Need restore all this file: about, Backupgpt, boot, dbi, laf, Primarygpt, recovery, rpm, tz, sdl1, sdl2, sdl3 (one by one, not MIX!!!) and after restore last sdl3 power turn on!

After days of waiting, a stock ROM package for Vibe X3 is finally available(or rather leaked).
This thread and all its contents are meant solely for the ROW variant X3a40.
This thread will come handy for restoring both working or bricked devices back to stock state.
There are two ways to flash the stock ROM:
Using QFIL tool on PC: This should be handy for bricked devices and also for working devices. Guide in post #2.
Using Qualcomm Diagnostic mode on device: This should be handy for people willing to downgrade a working device to an older stock firmware. Needs access to internal storage so doesn't make sense to use for a bricked device. Won't work if on custom ROM (modded stock ROMs should work). Guide in post #3.

The file sizes differ due to different compression levels and format.
With Windows PC Flashing Guide
WARNING: Everything apart from data in external SD card will be wiped. Make sure to backup everything.
Download the QFIL flash package ZIP and appropriate ZIP from Drivers+QFIL.
Extract the ZIPs to a folder whose complete path has no spaces (space characters) at all. A number of people have reported issues when this folder is on the same partition as Windows(mostly C: ) so prefer D: or any other partition.
Make sure you uninstall any other phone's PC Suite/drivers as they may cause conflicts. Microsoft Emergency Driver (installed for restoring Lumia devices) is known to conflict, please uninstall it.
Go to Drivers+QFIL folder extracted in Step 2, run the appropriate 'INSTALL_DRIVERS_&_QFIL.bat' and follow the instructions.
Backup contacts, SMS, apps, etc. as well as the entire internal storage as they will all be wiped(you will setup a new phone). Internal storage WILL BE erased when using the QFIL flash method.
Run 'QFIL' program. Let it load, close and run it again. This restart is only needed if you haven't used QFIL on that PC before and failing to do so might cause Sahara related errors.
Select 'Flat Build' as build type.
Click on 'Browse', select the 'prog_emmc_firehose_8992_ddr.mbn / prog_emmc_firehose_8992.mbn' file from the 'X3a40_S130_151122_ROW_QFIL' folder which you extracted.
Click on 'Load XML' and select 'rawprogram0.xml' followed by 'patch0.xml'.
Make sure you completed each step precisely, the USB cable is connected ONLY to USB port (USB 2.0 preferably) of PC and not to device yet, the device is powered off and is charged (at least 40%).
Now boot into EDL by plugging in the USB cable to device and then QUICKLY(within a second of plugging in) pressing and holding power button for ~1 second. QFIL's 'No port available' text should change to 'Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008 (COMXX)'. The display will stay off so, don't worry about it.
Within ~5 seconds put the device on a stable surface (so that it doesn't move around or shake) and press the 'Download' button on QFIL. If you are late, the device starts to power on normally and you need to go back to Step 11 and continue.
Wait for the flash to complete and 'Download Succeeded' message appear at the bottom.
Press and hold the power button for ~10 seconds to boot normally. If display doesn't turn on press and hold the power button again for longer time, it will boot.
Once you see the Lenovo logo, unplug the phone.
Once you have finished the initial set up, open dialer, dial '####682#', choose your region and confirm.
Without PC (QSB) Flashing Guide
WARNING: All the contacts, SMS, apps, etc. will be wiped. Make sure to backup them. Data in internal storage (sdcard0) and external SD card will not be wiped.
Download the QSB package and extract the ZIP.
Place the "sdfuse" folder extracted from the ZIP in internal storage of your device.
Backup contacts, SMS, apps, etc. as they will all be deleted(you will setup a new phone). Internal storage will not be erased when using the QSB flash method. But, to be safe, back up the data in internal storage too.
Boot to Qualcomm Diagnostic mode (not recovery) by pressing and holding Volume down + Power button together until Lenovo logo appears and flickers once(release the buttons after flicker).
Goto 'SD Update' using volume rockers and touch on 'Enter'.
Touch on 'Start'.
Once finished touch 'Restart'.
Once you have finished the initial set up, open dialer, dial '####682#', choose your region and confirm.
That's it.
TIPS & INFORMATION
The various modes X3a40 can boot into:
Recovery mode: Press and hold Volume up + Volume down + Power together until Lenovo logo shows up and flickers once. Release the buttons and you will reach the recovery. This opens up the recovery of the device.
Qualcomm Diagnostics mode: Press and hold Volume down + Power button together until Lenovo logo shows up and flickers once to boot into this mode. This opens up the Qualcomm Diagnostics screen which has a number of hardware testing and other tools along with ability to flash the stock ROM. It is also used for further Diagnosis using a PC.
Fastboot mode: Press and hold Volume up + Volume down and plug in the USB cable(already connected to PC). You may also use the ADB command "adb reboot bootloader". Obviously, you need a working device with USB Debugging turned on and ADB installed on PC. This enables the traditional Fastboot interface. NOTE: Device stays on Lenovo logo while in Fastboot mode.
EDL mode: Plug the USB cable and then QUICKLY(within a second of plugging in) press and hold the power button for a little while. Device stays in EDL only for ~5 seconds unless you start firmware flash via QFIL. You can also use ADB command "adb reboot edl". This will put your device in Qualcomm Emergency Download Mode which is meant to flash stock firmware using QFIL tool on working/bricked devices.
Normal mode: This is what you boot by normally pressing the power button. I don't need to say much about this one.
Keep your NV data (IMEI, Serial No., etc.) backed up from QFIL>Tools>QCN Backup Restore. Device must be in Qualcomm Diagnostics mode. There are many more ways to do this.

Recently i have shifted from samsung Note 2 to Vibe x3. Is there any means(may be themes) to have toggles similar to Samsung TW. I feel that samsung TW appearance is much better than Lenovo.
I am using nova launcher as its better than stock lenovo theme.
Also is there any means to have sound on boot animation.Current feel is similar to any CM ROM

At first all the instructions and files are from 4pda forums, I just represent them ! ,, if this is not allowed contact me and I will delete it.
Second, this is for advance users, who already know how to deal with " SP flash tool", not for those who needs help when they fail to follow the instructions. [ I will try to mention every detail I remember tho]
Third, lets unlock it!
To unlock your phone without the unlock key " Huawei stopped providing it ", you have to flash the proinfo partition of another mya-l22 which you know the unlock key for it and then unlock the phone with the known key. so we will use the proinfo and the key of the phone from nice guy posted them in 4pda forums.
1. Download SP flash tool and drivers for our phone and install them.
link [note: there are 3 installer for the driver, I think I used the first one only].
2. Open SP flash tool, then ..
note: these files are in _MAYA_L22 sub-folder of SP flash tool
a. select Download Agent : "MTK_AllInOne_DA.bin"
b. select the scatter file: "MT6737T_Android_scatter.txt"
3. Backup proinf partition..
a. Press on Readback tab.
b. Press on "Add" button.
c. Double click on the new entry, and chose where you want to save the backup.
d. Select Type: Hex.
Region EMMC_USER
Start Address: 0x80000
Length: 0x300000
e. Press Read Back button " the green arrow "
f. now make sure your phone is turned off,
press and hold the down volume button and plug the USB cable..
keep pressing the volume down button untill the backup process is done.
4. Flash the new proinfo partition:
a. Download the file: proinfo
[ note: you may edit it using hex editor and replace the serial keys from your backup. ]
b. Make sure to turn off your phone and disconnect the USB.
c. In SP flash tool press " ctrl + alt + v ", to enable the advanced mode.
d. from "Window " in menu bar select " Write memory"
e. New tab will be available "Write memory "open the it.
f. Set File path: the downloaded file from above "proinfo_0x80000"
Begin address: 0x80000
Region : EMMC_USER
"by DRAM"
g. click on write memory
h. now as before press and hold volume down button on your phone and plug the USB cable.
i. keep pressing the volume down button untill the flash is done.
5. Unlock the phone!!
a. make sure to enable "OEM unlock" from developer option in your phone.
b. boot your phone to bootloader " fastboot" .
c. from your PC open the "minimal adb tool " or what you have ..
d. type this command :
fastboot oem unlock 5A4CB78CF6711B04
e. done !! your phone will report now and it will do a full factory reset and will delete every thing .. so make sure to have backups
CONGRATS! YOUR PHONE IS UNLOCKED!!!

It is optional, you can flash as it is.
if i relock my bootloader again will i lose my twrp recovery and my custom dotos rom which i flashed ?

At first all the instructions and files are from 4pda forums, I just represent them ! ,, if this is not allowed contact me and I will delete it.
Second, this is for advance users, who already know how to deal with " SP flash tool", not for those who needs help when they fail to follow the instructions. [ I will try to mention every detail I remember tho]
Third, lets unlock it!
To unlock your phone without the unlock key " Huawei stopped providing it ", you have to flash the proinfo partition of another mya-l22 which you know the unlock key for it and then unlock the phone with the known key. so we will use the proinfo and the key of the phone from nice guy posted them in 4pda forums.
1. Download SP flash tool and drivers for our phone and install them.
link [note: there are 3 installer for the driver, I think I used the first one only].
2. Open SP flash tool, then ..
note: these files are in _MAYA_L22 sub-folder of SP flash tool
a. select Download Agent : "MTK_AllInOne_DA.bin"
b. select the scatter file: "MT6737T_Android_scatter.txt"
3. Backup proinf partition..
a. Press on Readback tab.
b. Press on "Add" button.
c. Double click on the new entry, and chose where you want to save the backup.
d. Select Type: Hex.
Region EMMC_USER
Start Address: 0x80000
Length: 0x300000
e. Press Read Back button " the green arrow "
f. now make sure your phone is turned off,
press and hold the down volume button and plug the USB cable..
keep pressing the volume down button untill the backup process is done.
4. Flash the new proinfo partition:
a. Download the file: proinfo
[ note: you may edit it using hex editor and replace the serial keys from your backup. ]
b. Make sure to turn off your phone and disconnect the USB.
c. In SP flash tool press " ctrl + alt + v ", to enable the advanced mode.
d. from "Window " in menu bar select " Write memory"
e. New tab will be available "Write memory "open the it.
f. Set File path: the downloaded file from above "proinfo_0x80000"
Begin address: 0x80000
Region : EMMC_USER
"by DRAM"
g. click on write memory
h. now as before press and hold volume down button on your phone and plug the USB cable.
i. keep pressing the volume down button untill the flash is done.
5. Unlock the phone!!
a. make sure to enable "OEM unlock" from developer option in your phone.
b. boot your phone to bootloader " fastboot" .
c. from your PC open the "minimal adb tool " or what you have ..
d. type this command :
fastboot oem unlock 5A4CB78CF6711B04
e. done !! your phone will report now and it will do a full factory reset and will delete every thing .. so make sure to have backups

Hi all, i confirm this method works for Y5 (2017) MYA-L03, now there is another question, what happend if you revert back to the original proinfo_0x80000 file you backup, you can brick the phone????
I tried to perform a factory reset from recovery mode. It is asking for the password there too.
When I tap 'forgot password' option it says 'a forgotten password can't be retrieved. Please contact our after-purchase service center for help'.
Is there any other way I can try before visiting there service center?

Also, try to use memorable pass like birthdate or time dependent password app for better use.
Just unlock bootloader using ADB it will erase all data from your phone
Just flash stock firm, everything will be back to normal!
1) Download stock rom.
2)Extract it if it is in .ofp format using mct tool.
3) Download SP flash tool.
4) install drivers.
5) Download cdc driver install them.
6) Download brom exploit to bypass sequreboot. Or you wont be able use sp flash tool. You can find a ton of tutorial on YouTube for that.
7) load scatter file in sp flash tool.
8) open brom exploit.
9) download and install lib-usb.
8) power of you phone. Connect it to pc while holding vol + and - key.
9) You will see something on sequre boot bypass tool but its not over yet.
10) open lib usb filet while the phone is still connected. Click next and you will find option install filter. Now select mediatek usb port. And install filter on that.
11) disconnect the phone from pc. Power and power off again.
12) open bypass tool. hold vol + - key connect the phone.
13) go to sp flash tool. Just select userdata.
14) click download.
15) let it finish. And done.
Orrrr.
You can go to youtube search for Chanel named drwangz. You find a tutorial for hardbrick real me c3 phone. Follow that tutorial.
make sure you select download mode in sp flash tool
