Xposed? - T-Mobile HTC One (M9)

Is there a working Xposed for the HTC One? If so, where can I find it?

I also have this question?

Yes there is. I was dying without my xprivacy.
Search on here for xpsosed for lollipop. You need the arm64 file and you have to flash the xpsosed file via twrp. Just make sure you know If you need 5.1. Or 5.0 lollipop version. It's not easy as it was but you'll get it eventually. Actually, its a mfer I ain't gonna lie.

look up romracer version of xposed for x64bit phones also make sure sdk21 is for 5.0.1 sdk22 is for 5.1.1.
Also its a miss or hit best advice (not advise) is to reflash rom (dirty) if it do not work... filename for mine is xposed-v67-sdk-arm64-by-romracer-20150716.zip.
I am sure there is an updated one but thid worked for me so never checked...
Press thanks if I helped (could use them :good

Yea that doesn't work. I think it's because I need to find a deodexed version of the stock ROM, but there's hardly any support for T-Mo.

Well I have used it on viper and ICE, both worked on my tmobile m9. I am sure it would work for revolution and most other roms out there.

Yes on Viper just pick the t-mobile config when you flash.

Yup that's what's I'm running. Latest firmware on T-Mobile us viper Rom on 5.1 and xposed was easier than it was on 5.0 to get working

[ROOT][5/24]Sprint One Root and Disable System Write Protection

Thanks to Dees_Troy getting TWRP working on this device, I have made an easy way to root your Sprint One and disable /system write protection.
Q&AWhat does this contain?
Everything necessary to install the latest SuperSU and supporting files (su binary included)
Install latest busybox in recovery
A ported wp_mod.ko module for this kernel
A script to start wp_mod.ko
A modified boot.img - insecured (allows for remounting of /system to rw when in Android), enabled USB debugging by default, and added busybox run-parts (alows scripts to run during boot).
What is /system write protection?
HTC now keeps you from writing to /system through the kernel. When you try to modify anything in /system, you'll get a reboot. This cannot be fixed until there is source available, so this method by flar2 works wonderfully.
How is this different from this method?
TWRP's method is great, but it doesn't disable /system rw protection. This means that you will still experience issues when modifying /system when booted into Android (deleting/adding files, updating SuperSU binary, etc). I would recommend my flashable .zip method!
Can I use this if I already installed SuperSU from TWRP?
Yes, you can flash this with no issues.

You bet lol it's lovely!
What a champion among men. Fine a bit longer nap when you're done. And the good gruel!
All jokes aside, thanks a lot for all of this. Now I'm prepped for Fridays release.
How'd you get into devving anyways? Did you have previous programming knowledge or just dive right in? I really wanna get into it and I'm very knowledgeable about computers and android but I've haven't dealt with coding much(save for a few lessons on codecademy) nor have looked much into development for android. Is it difficult to say add a new setting to the stock settings or to bake in/remove an app that wasn't there or needs to be removed?
Sorry if I'm taking up your time I'm just really interested in getting into it. I've been running other peoples ROMs from lgoptimusog>htcevoOG>htcevo3d>galaxye4gt>evolte>galaxys3 not to mention tablet ROMs and I just want to make my own tailored to me.

So what fastboot commands would I use? I may make a tutorial on youtube once I get the Sprint HTC One on Friday. Rooting can be complicated, but is so much fun to do! Thanks for the fast root, I mean damn the phone ain't even out yet! So excited, as I cannot wait for Cyangenmod and PACMan ROM's. I love stock Android!

Thanks for clarifying. The FAQ question asking "how is this different from the directions for TWRP?" had me thinking this was an alternative not something that works hand in hand. Perhaps adding that clarity might help others looking in here.

Yeah, you can. If you have TWRP installed, you can flash one of the stock rooted ROMs I put out (they have this built-in), or if you want to just flash this, it's basically the same as stock Odex ROM. Your call, but I'd hop on a deodex ROM, all mods will be done for deodex ROMs.

[FIX] Get Sprint Data To Work On Custom Roms.

Hi all.
Unfortunately it looks like the other thread was closed and I would like to help out other Sprint users who want to flash custom Roms. The fix should be flashed during initial installation, so:
1. Flash ROM
2. Gapps
3. SU (if necessary)
4. Sprint APN Fix zip
Data is confirmed to work out of the box on the following Roms, meaning there's no need to flash the fix:
CM11 based Roms
Cataclysm
Slimkat
Nitrous
Kangakat
Beergang
I'll update this list as Roms developers add their own fix.
I do not take credit for this as I did not create this zip (Thanks to Motcher41 for creating it). I'm just passing it along to help other Sprint users.

The fix for data on custom roms is not in the apns file, its adding the missing proprietary need to "authenicate" your device to sprint which runs during the initial setup in the setup wizard. The developers need to add the missing stuff "OmaDmclient.apk" and thats it ....

Did you flash it right after flashing ROM/GAPPS? The one thing I noticed is that the only way to get it to work is to flash the fix before the first boot. I'm using the fix on Ratakat Rom as we speak.

I got my n5 for christmas and i've never had data problems on any of the roms i've installed. o_o
however, i haven't been been able to receive sms messages on anything but the stock rom.

I just needed some free time to do it properly. Making an international gsm firmware work fully on Verizon is a pain in the you-know-what.
I also had the motivation of wanting to fully port the G3 camera driver which I never got around to with the initial G3 port I did with Cloudy and Tangjun. I'm happy to say it was worth it. Hope you enjoy it.

Coming from CloudyG3 with TWRP 2.7.0.0 can i just perform all the steps above or would it be better to restore to stock 26a first? Wipe system? Last time I went from CloudyG3 back to stock I lost knock on and had to restore it using your hiddenmenu apk. Any idea if I can expect something similar? Willing to be a bit of a guinea pig if you think I'll have a better than not chance for success.

No need to...just follow the install directions above. The only reason you (or anyone) ever lost knock-on is because they had flashed a kernel (if it's included with the rom it's the same thing) that enabled knock code and consequently updated the touchscreen firmware. Knock code also has a framework component that LG/Verizon for whatever reason never included in their firmware...so when you came back to a vs980 stock rom you also lost knock-on due to the newer firmware not being compatible with that firmware. It's a simple as that. All that has EVER been needed to restore it is a simple 10 second procedure.
This firmware package DOES have framework support for knock-on, so I built my kernel to use it. If you switch back to a VS980 Stock rom after this, you'll need to do the touchfw update in one of the 4 different ways that have been detailed.

The bootstack is the same one I had posted for my 26A rom. I didn't/don't want to confuse people with having more than one bootstack zip for now while everyone transitions from loki to bump. That said, if you had just continued on to install the rom you would've noticed that the firmware zip installs the new/bumped 2.8.1.2. Just follow the steps and you'll be fine.

Yes, I installed xposed framework and rootcloak to get it to work. Also, if you are running ART you need to disable before trying to get xposed to work.
I'm so psyched this is finally coming out, I'd given up on ever seeing this ROM come out a few months ago and have been putting up with the roaming bug on CloudyG3 ever since. So glad I don't have to deal with that crap now. Thanks man.

anyone deodexed tmobile stock rom?

Has anyone deodex and successfully installed a stock system image yet? I haven't tried this yet but I am thinking of giving it a shot sometime soon. I was wondering if there were any potential issues of doing this such as wifi calling or what not. The reason I'm doing this is because I'm s-off'd and I'm hoping a deodexed system will allow xposed to successfully work.

Any luck? A deodexed rom would be a huge help for the development community to work on this phone, especially with WiFi calling and voice over lte.
I made a flashable zip, but forgot to change permissions on the apk's on it. It still booted up into android and then android performed it's "upgrading" function at startup and then it rebooted into a bootloop. I had to go somewhere so I ended up flashing back my backup and have not gotten back to it since then as I just got home. I'll try it some more tomorrow or over the weekend.
Any luck on the deodex process? If you need a tester, I'd be glad to help.

same here would love to help.
Hi,
No I haven't had time to work on it any further. I am using a mac so the deodex arm64 tools are all in windows so that's been one challenge, but I was able to do some of that work on my work laptop. The other issue is that I am having trouble getting my updater binary to work. It's failing in TWRP. I'm going to set up a linux environment and install archikitchen when I have more free time, but I've been pretty busy lately.
For whatever reason, I was able to get my original zip to install and reboot and even do the android upgrading function, but then it rebooted into a bootloop. I revised the script to set permissions properly, but then it just fails updating. Sighs.
I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. I made a few different attempts at system images but all cause bootloops. I may have to try re-doing the deodex part again, but I used my own zip and script as well as one generated by ArchiKitchen and all caused bootloops, so it's probably my deodex files failing. Will try again when I have more free time.

Yeah deodexed roms take considerably longer then odexed roms. I think I clocked 19minutes from the time I rebooted from recovery till android was done optimizing.

Did you ever get your deodexed rom to work, or did you give up on that after getting the one posted by @Steel25? I've deodexed mine using the same tool as you, but now I'm stuck on how to get it to install on my device. All of the info that seems to be out there for this pertains to 32 bit roms, and doesn't seem to work on this one. I really appreciate the one provided by @Steel25, but I also really want to accomplish this myself. If someone can help me do this please post or link or PM me. Thank you in advance.

I am currently just using the ROM that @steal25 posted. I tried several things and for whatever reason, I couldn't get it working except for my initial time but that restarted into a bootloop. Archikitchen also doesnt have a deodexer for lollipop, so if there's a some info on what would work let me know.
A lot of things have happened in my personal life that has taken up a lot of my time so I dont have too much time to tinker around with this stuff lately.
I am currently using the one posted by @Steel25 with Xposed using Xtended settings, and everything is working well. My only complaint is that the cores 4-7 can only be clocked to a maximum of 1.5GHZ. However, I am still searching for a way to properly deodex the stock rom and make it installable.

+1, would love to get xposed running on the latest T-Mo build.
I have deodexed the latest T-Mobile 5.1 build, but I don't know how to make it flashable yet. I'm still learning. If anyone who knows how is willing to give me some guidance please PM me. I'm kinda stuck getting a working update-binary and updater-script.

Xposed is here for Lollipop TW ROMs

A great day for us Sammy TW ROM users.
Xposed is working on deoxded TouchWiz-based ROMs.
See this thread:

All credit to @arter97 for making a simple solution.
Working perfectly on my N910H phone with the Elctron Tean v0.6 ROM
The creator himself hasn't tested this on exynos yet, but I see you tested it yourself and thank god it works. Has somebody already tried this on N910C though?

Correct, it only works, at present, with deodexed ROMs. There are some very good lightly debloated deodexed ROMs available.

I download the official Xposed alpha2 apk from rovo's thread. Don't worry about it saying you should use the alpha4, the alpha2 in the thread is the correct one.
Download the zip file from the thread I linked to in the first post.
Now install the Xposed apk
Boot to recovery.
Flash the zip you downloaded
Reboot
It will take a little time to boot, as it will optimise all your apps. After that your phone will then automatically restart.
Now you need to go to the Xposed Installer app and start adding modules as before.
That's it ?

Are you using simple kernel? I'm on 910f and I noticed that it didn't boot when I used stock kernel so I was forced into using their kernel which I don't really like as I only like stock rom
Works like a charm on my 910F. I tried wanam and it works also. Renember after flashing the xposed zip file, the first reboot takes a while on samsung logo, I almost thought it was bootloop! so give samaung logo 2 mins, then app optimizing screen comes on.

I can install Wanam Xposed, but none of the settings work. I think we have to wait for him to update to work on lollipop. N910H
