so i've been browsing this forum about 2 days now and trying different ways to try and operate this program. i downloaded the files from the thread that Nyer78 created:
i followed the exact instructions on installing and it installed perfectly. i replaced the config file he provided to get the iContacts to work and it was great. But when it's suppose to pop up to lock the device it would have an error:
PPL Runtime Error
App: SLIDE.EXE
File:SLIDE.EXE
Proc:WINMAIN
Opcode:LOADSPRITE
Chat/Line/Offset:0,0,
0x005391e0
eRROR LOADING IMAGE \Program Files\Slide2Unlock\GFX\Res\wallpaper.bmp
then i read how i needed to change it to JPEG/JPG and i did in the res folder. after i read that i needed to do it in the configs and i did, but everytime i soft reseted my ppc, the same error message would come up. the iPHONE theme is installed in my storage card and the slide2unlock program is on my device. (keep in mind after messing with the configs i would soft reset my device) so i tried uploading my own photos size 240x320/320x240 and it still didn't work. also when i open up the files on my device it shows as a jpg/jpeg, but when i connect it to my computer via bluetooth it shows as a bmp. anyone know whats going on and so forth? also i tried turning iLOCk off then turning it on then turning on slide2unlock and still doesn't work. any help, suggestions are welcomed. Thanks alot guys you've done so much already as to overclocking and things like that.

Why not use the newer version that less issues. S2U2.
I've been using it for awhile now and it seems to work a lot better.
Hey guys. I've been waiting to try out Windows 10 TP on my Lumia Icon ever since it was announced. When build 10051 was revealed with support for many more phones, I was excited. The Icon was even part of the initial flight list. However, it never became available. Build 10052 was the same. I know that there is a way to install it on non-supported phones with an SD card, but the Icon doesn't have one. Is there anything else that can be done? I remember trying it unofficially on my 1520 using a proxy spoof. I also know that the Insider app was patched to prevent this. Is there any other way, or am I forced to wait until Microsoft gets around to it?
Gabe Aul has even revealed on twitter that the 930/Icon scaling issue has been fixed. However, the fix is not available to Insiders. Help please.
Get a registry editor running (I use Root Tool on Samsung; you should try CustomWPSystem/CustomPFD), and do this to emulate a 1520 (it's a similar architecture):
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\Platform\DeviceTargetingInfo]
"PhoneManufacturer"="NOKIA"
"PhoneManufactrerModelName"="RM-938"
"PhoneModelName"="Lumia 1520"
Then, sign-in to Windows Insider, fast ring, take the update, boot, go back to windows insider and repeat. If you don't like the size of the fonts you can change it through the registry or just start out with values for the 830, which are posted elsewhere. If you use Verizon and have CDMA issues, try the values for the Lumia 928 (NOKIA, RM-860_nam_usa_100, Lumia 928); that may provoke downloading provisions for Verizon.

Is this the right app? : http://www.windowsphone.com/s?appid=e29fe9cf-074d-49f6-83c1-c3a7b5658653&signin=true
I find it odd that Microsoft allowed this on the Store.
Edit: The app needs to be on the SD card to work. No dice ?

Actually it's this version: http://www.windowsphone.com/en-us/store/app/root-tool/f4acc009-ea1e-4063-9bab-fec50195aa1e
But you're right, I forgot about the SD requirement; sorry.

You can change that via the registry; I can't remember the keys off the top of my head but they're around. You can also enable the navigation bar like you're used to if it didn't do it automatically.

Does this also make the keyboard bigger? the buttons are way harder to hit than in 8.1. That's the only thing that really annoys me.
Navigation bar is visible but i am not able to hide it. I already found the registry keys to edit the settings but i haven't enabled write access in the registry yet.
Edit: Can't seem to get write access to that part of the registry. Already tried root tool and custompfd (applied the hacks to get it working for both). Do you know how to write in HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Shell\NavigationBar ?
Edit2: changed phone to lumia 830. Font size and keyboard are back to normal. Although i liked to small font size, the keyboard was pretty hard to use.
Hi guys, just registered, first post because I don't really if there's any other community that could help me.
I've got a Lumia 735 and an itch to squeeze as much out of its camera as possible. Ive unlocked the phone and got CustomPFD Registry Editor on there, as well as vcREG and WPTweaker. Under the hunch i can enable DNG output (based on the fact the phone has the same SOC hardware as the 830, which is fully capable of doing so) I've added a few registry keys with mixed results.
HKLM\SOFTWARE\OEM\Nokia\Camera\Barc (DNGDisabled, DWORD 0) (BarcVersion, String 0.81) (IsEnabled DWORD 1)
i.imgur.com/biWpkx3.png
I've got the options appearing in the settings menu, and significant lag when they're turned on and I start taking photos (feels like the data is being written). However nothing shows up in Rawer, the phone's file manager, on the PC with Photoshop, nothing. They don't seem to be saving.
I've noticed there are additional DNG related keys in HKLM\SOFTWARE\OEM\Nokia\Camera\RFC\Resolution (DNGCapture_NeededBufferSize DWORD 10778368), so I've got a hunch there are more keys struck from the registry I need to have active before it starts saving my uncompressed data.
Does anyone have a Lumia 830 (or a phone that can output DNGs out of the box) with CustomPFD Registry Editor installed, that could check if there are keys i'm missing? I love this 735 and essentially turning it into a Pureview device would make my day.
Thanks a ton!

Did you solve it? Some time ago I managed to save DNG using that method (I only created those three values in HKLM\SOFTWARE\OEM\Nokia\Camera\Barc key) but after I hard reset my phone, that method just doesn't work. Absolutely no idea why...
Mine is not working either. Did you solve?
Hi,
I'm running in somme issues with my Lumia 635 ...
I wanted to update it to RS2, but it's not "officially" supported, so i changed the registery to declare the phone as a Lumia 950xl.
No problem.
But after the update, the os boot, but the lock screen won't load ...
I mean, the nav bar and the notifications at the top of the screen are here (cannot open the action center throught) but in the middle, instead of the lock screen, there is a black screen ...
I had this same issue with 2 Lumia 650, but at this time, they were able to auto-connect to my wifi network so i can access the dev web console. And the solution to load the lock screen (and the rest of the ui) was to start the "email app" from the dev web console ...
But now, my 635 is not auto connecting to my wifi ... So i don't know anymore what to do ...
I already try to soft reset and I don't want to hard reset yet because i forgot to backup what was on the phone (and my sd card is bitlocker encrypted, so i will probably loose the private keys :s)
If anybody had a genius idea, that would save me ...
(Sorry for my English)

EDIT : I didn't see there was a Win10M subforum, i created a new post, sorry. https://forum.xda-developers.com/windows-10-mobile/lumia-635-fail-updating-to-15063-rs2-t3694123
Hi, I'm new here.
I would like to know : How do enable sms delivery confirmation and call history on windows mobile 10 from AT&T ?
I've just bought two phones :
- a Microsoft Lumia 640 AT&T (RM-1073) is unlocked.
- a Microsoft Lumia 640XL AT&T (RM-1063) is unlocked.
I made the Windows Phone 8.1 updates to the latest version of Windows Mobile 10: 15063.674. On these 2 phones, I do not have access to the following options:
- Activation of the SMS and MMS delivery confirmation
- The history of the received and issued calls that remains hopelessly blank.
I also already have a Microsoft Lumia 640 XL (RM_1072) bought in France unbranded, on the latter on Windows 10 Mobile last update these 2 options work fine.
How to do with the 2 mobiles that I intend to offer my parents to replace their Lumia 520 ?
Do you think I can activate these 2 options by changing the phone registry and if so, can you tell me where find the necessary information?
Thanks for your help
RadiATIonDDR from France.
Do you know if we can change the registry database and how? if yes Vikont1 on another thread for 1520 At&t speaks of: ' CustomPFD Registry Editor + Tweaks (I) 0.3 version used, to modify the value use Root Tool v2 '
I had modify it on my 920 and 925 for skip for 830 eligible to w10m RS1. I believe although Windows Phone Internals does not allows to unlock the bootloader of models more recent seen in its faq: Which Lumia ' s are supported by the tool? Lumia 520, 521, 525, 620, 625, 720, 820, 920, 925, 928, 1020 and 1320 are supported.
So, How unlock and access the bootloader of 640 & 640XL ? thank you for your help, I think the registry database can be would solutionner my without having problem to flash the phone with a package not appropriate: RM1073 = > RM1072 and RM1063 = > RM1062 with risk of brick ...
Hi all,
I've found alone Interop Tools. So I can see the registry of my 640XL EU version RM-1072
I've found in HKLM/SOTWARE/MICROSOFT/MESSAGING :
- SMSDeliveryNotify value = 1 for activate, value = 0 for desactivate the SMS delivery notification.
- RequestDeliveryReport value = 1 for activate, 0 for desactivate the MMS delivery notification
I think that I can modify or create this 2 registry keys on the AT&T 640 & 640XL for my parents. I'm waiting to test it when they will go my home.
I seek always how activate the history call page. For the moment, because this page is desperately blank on the 2 phones. I can't find the good registry key to test on my phone.
Thanks for your help.
