Have you updated your AVH-4100NEXto version 1.03?
This firmware version from Pioneer provided more support for Android phones.
As for your phone, Google only shows LG G3 on Verizon Wireless as not being supported.

Greetings All!
Strongly considering buying one of these watches.. That said, my Sprint LG G3 has not been updated to Lollipop and I'm unlikely to do so any time soon because of various apps and features that I like or need which aren't yet compatible.
Does the watch and the phone have to be on the same version of Android? Are there any issues mixing versions?
Many thanks in advance.
Cheers, Henri
No my G2 on 4.4.2 works well with my R on 5.0.2.
You can buy one
My Sprint Note Edge running 4.4.4 and this watch running 5.0.2 work find together.
question
any one know if it would work on an lg g pro 4.2.1? My phone is rooted and cant update
I think Android Wear is only compatible with 4.3 and above.
Hi Guys,
I have an LG urbane LTE model on the way (planning on opening it up and replacing the sim) only problem is that I can't seem to download the LG watch manager apk (com.lg.wman.apk) from Google play as it's not in my region. I've tried a number of methods including the chrome plugin etc. Does anyone have the apk or let me know how to get it?
I plan on posting a complete review here. Should have it on Monday.
Thanks!
I have sent you a pm. This file works for me on my onelus one.

I am really keen on buying this but I live in the UK and it hasn't been released here as yet and LG are giving no indication if it ever will. Can I ask how you're getting it? Where you're buying it from as I 'd be most interested. I'd want to do the same and replace the sim but I can't find out any info to tell if this is possible. Many thanks
Before anyone else tries this, it's only for the Urbane LTE. From their Play Store comments, "Please connect Urbane LTE with the LG Watch Manager, Urbane with Android Wear."
Remove SIM possible?
Can anyone confirm that it is possible to remove the SIM from LG Urbane LTE? THank you!
Does anyone have this combo to confirm it works or doesn't with Android Auto?
I have the 8GB Moto G (2015) and an Android Auto headunit, which was working great with a Nexus 5 until that phone died. When I plug in the Moto G, I get a message saying that the device is not compatible. Having a hard time believing that since it is a new phone running Android 5.1.1 and is pretty close to stock Android.
I have heard that others have it working with a 16GB model but not this specific variant, which is the only one available for me in Canada.

This is now an officially acknowledged known issue for Android Auto that Google is working with Motorola on.
Hi folks. I got 2 phones here, a Samsung Galaxy S5 and LG G3, both are UNBRANDED and unlocked, and lack the capability to connect to T-Mobile 4G speed as well
I want to take advantage of this....but can't; what can I do here? Both were NEVER connected to a PC, so no not rooted yet neither.
Please give as detailed instructions as you can, because I don't think I ever connected my or any androids with a PC before...don't know much about this... YouTUBE is awesome also, by the way...
Thank You People!!
Hi,
I'm new here and i came from the LG V30. I'm planning to upgrade to a V40 but the only thing available for me was the V409N (Korea) and the V405UA (AT&T) version.
The V30 can cross flash between many variants except T-Mobile using modified LGUP, root and TWRP can also be achieved.
I was wondering if the V40 has similar methods? Because i usually use my phone with root and custom ROMs.
Thanks in advance
If you look in the forums you'll see threads for crossflashing v40 and unlocking and rooting. Like the v30, t-mobile is excluded. Custom roms are also available. Unlike the v30, the v40 is a treble device, which makes things a bit more complicated, but on the plus side the v40 does have a 'fire-hose' available which makes it modifiable using qfil and edl mode (which means basically that you really can't brick it). I like my v40 very much, (was) a flag ship device, a good price, and some development for it, though not an overwhelming amount.
cheers

lg v40 won't satisfy you in terms of custom roms and root. also it has the most bad battery experience of all LG phone I've ever used! , think about G8 instead.
Well, 'satisfied' in terms of custom roms is going to be subjective. Some, like myself, if lineage is available (it is), then I'm satisfied. As far as battery goes, I too was disappointed at first, but when I got a power-delivery charger, that all changed. I had read the PD chargers are not the same as QC chargers, and additionally that you should never charger your PD battery with a QC charger (which I had been using).
LG does specify both types of charging in the specs (18W max). But for whatever reason, my V40 battery is much much better if I use a PD charger.
