Hey guys, i recently got a sgs which is software unlocked. (sim unlock not facory)
So i wanted to ask if i flash a rom on it like miui or darky....will flashing any rom sim lock my sgs>
I think the cell phone will not lock because you did not flash to unlock it you entered key...
and if i use an app from the android market instead of unlock code, then?
Hello i have an htc one m7 that was initially locked to orange, i had it unlocked using a card that was inserted to flash some code.
For this card to be able to flash the code.. the htc was rooted and had S-off.
After the card flash that code i could use any sim in my htc one
Now there is a system update available.
My question is if i update will i lose my unlock, brick my phone ?
What do you guys recommend that i should do ?

I updated my HTC One m8 Sprint harman kardon phone to lollipop(5.0.1). I need to unlock it. I root it and s-off it.And flashed a Inser coin 6.0.8. After I used SIM UNLOCK method to unlock it. But the SIM UNLOCK method doesn't work for me. Because it gives an error 'vDM client has stopped'. I think it was beacuse the Lollipop version.
Is it possible to system update after rooting and flashing insertcoin 5 version ?

and when I go into fastboot/recovery menu I get phone locked and I cant unlock it to flash roms

@fengqiu, you have to get unlock code and unlock bootloader. There's no other way to unbrick device.
hmm I tried to flash myRom onto this phone. it has no firmware atm.
