I just Bought one of these and it arrived today. £10.99 from Amazon!!
http://www.amazon.co.uk/HTC-HD2-Ext...1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1298995158&sr=8-1
These batteries have a good reputation on here, and really seems like a quality product.
The battery door fits perfectly and although its plastic the kickstand is aluminium and I think it has to be the same quality of the HTC one, anyway for 10 quid its a bargain!!
I bought one of those "cheap" 2400ma ones recently for my defender case project and haven't got it to report properly in 2 weeks, so I'm hoping to use the Leicke along with Arnes 2300ma kernel
Just Charging it up now so I'll ad a quick review after ive used it for a bit
Thanks for the info!! I've bought before in Amazon and just for coming from Amazon.. couldn't be bad!
Result?

So...how was the result? I only found that same battery for 22 pounds, but its still cheaper than the original HTC extended battery of 41 pounds.
How is it working? Is it worth buying?
I had one of these for the HTC EVO and remember taking some great photos with it. Haven't really played around with them since then but figured I'd give it a try seeing as how great the Note 5 camera is.
This kit was for the iphone 6, but I tried it out and it fits with the Note 5.
Here is a quick look at the kit and a few pictures I took with it. https://youtu.be/Zd85Pc4a__k
Cool! Thanks for the tip, that's pretty neat..
Works great, just have to remove my case. Thanked!
I'm looking for a high quality selfie stick for my travels (not those chinese $5-7 ones). My needs:
- Durable (must feel solid and can support heavy phones with ease)
- Big slot for phones like the Note 5
- 3.5mm cord variant is preferred (bluetooth is okay)
- Good grip material is a plus (not required)
- No need of any extra flashy features
Can anyone recommend a good one? Thanks in advance!
Bump?
Get a monopole and a phone clamp with a normal tripod mount.

Sturdy branch and duct tape
I got this one and reviewed it from stalion. It was actually really well constructed and held the phone with a TPU case easily. It is bluetooth, although I think they may have a wired version too.

New Gear VR headset will be released with Note8.

That's been known for days now sir/ma'am...:good:
the good news: i went to town on it with a dremel this morning and it worked out great. i got my note 8 to fit in my 2016 gear vr

Note 8 fits in S8+ Gear VR
I pre-oreded the Note 8 and have been using it in my Gear VR I got on promo when I got my S8+ earlier this year. There is an A and B position to slide in the USB C or standard USB adapter in. I put mine in the furthest position and my Note 8 JUST clicks in. I feel a little nervous when I go to release it out because it is pretty tight feeling.
I got mine to fit as well but it is way to tight. I might take the dremel to it tomorrow.
It actually will work and does fit if you buy this: http://www.samsungparts.com/Products/Parts_and_Accessories/PID-GH98-41582A.aspx
Some of the 2017 editions have that adapter already. Its a bit of a tight squeeze but works. I got this from a youtube video where a guy talks about it and demos it going in to a 2016 with that plug.
It's a bit snug but fits fine in my 2017 gear vr.

Good demo video of the 323/4 and the 325 differences, the note 8 fits the older model, just

That's what I've been looking for. I"m sure the Note 8 will fit in the 2016 VR with that.
I may give the Dremel a try since I'll have this for a backup. Thanks!

I tried to Dremel the USB C that came with it. The problem is the whole things ends up being too long. I shaved about 3MM off the metal of the connector and it still worked but it did not go deep enough in for how much plastic I removed for it to be short enough :/
So I had a nice, light stand that worked with my Tab S4, it lasted three years, and was easy to use on airplane trays.
When I upgraded to my Tab S8+, it shortly broke. Two replacements of the same type also broke after only a few months (the latest yesterday). The tablet is just too heavy.
Does anyone have suggestions for light, preferably plastic, travel stands suitable for airplane use? And carrying in a travel bag? 'm not interested in the clip-on hang from the seat in front of you types.
I have a flight from Dallas to Incheon in 8 days, so needs to be something I can order from Amazon this weekend.
Your suggestions appreciated!
Thanks,
Joe
