I'm right in assuming there will be a Verizon specific factory image at some point, correct? I got the OTA notification yesterday, but don't want to go back to stock just to update. And the LMY47Z image that's on Google's page obviously says "For Sprint, USC only."
Thanks

Disregard what Google has titled the image. That is the build Verizon users are getting via OTA.

47Z is being pushed to numerous other devices (and used successfully) in spite of Google's label. AT&T, and numerous international users. Several VZW users also report satisfactory performance with 47Z.
Ah, thank you to you both.

I'm on T-Mobile and side loaded the LMY47D OTA zip when it was first released. How do I go about loading LMY47M? I bought my N6 through Google and want to stay stock (unrooted).

You'll have to unlock your bootloader and use this:

Will an ota push to put the n6 on a verizon build like LMY47E if its currently on LMY47M and I put a vzw sim in it? Everything works now, just curious if it'll come automatically or if i need to load it manually.

Probably not. If you're not on E, when Verizon finally releases the OTA, you won't get it.
Thanks. Decided to unlock and flash lmy47e to avoid any issues.
Hi,
Can you please tell me how did you flash lmy47e?
I tried doing that with wugs toolkit, but it just hangs.
Thanks.

Properly, without a toolkit.

You need to use fastboot.

I'm on ATT running the T-Mobile build LMY47M, I've always been on ATT I just did the swapped Sim card to trick it into the 5.1 update.
So my first question is, have I been taking off the ATT update path now?
If yes, do I need to load the factory LMY47Z in order to get to 5.1.1 or wait for an ATT OTA image?
Thanks for all your help.

There is already a Factory Image for 5.1.1 of both AT&T and T-Mobile. You can flash your AT&T Factory image to return to Stock 5.1.1.
I haven't seen an ATT factory image. On the google developers site it has a 47Z for sprint and USC, and a 28E for T-Mobile.

Oh am sorry, got confused between Sprint and ATT. The Sprint (7Z) version is International image so I am pretty sure that would be fine to flash. I am not sure how the carrier OTA would differ much from the International version since I don't use Sprint or ATT.
OK thanks. Do you think being on the M build takes me out of the ATT OTA loop?
Otherwise I was going to try wugfresh to flash the Z build.

If you check the OTA url thread, you see that Z comes from D, E and I but not M.

OK thank you, I'll flash Z tonight then.
Hello all, I am an AT&T nexus 6 user. I am unlocked and rooted. I of course tried the OTA, didn't expect it to work since I'm rooted and it of course didn't work. I checked the factory images and there are only sprint and T-mobile versions of the 5.1.1. My question is can I flash the T-mobile version and have a functioning device? I'm sick of this system notification showing up every day telling me that I need to update. Thanks for the heads up

You can flash anyone you like. They'll all work with various results. AT&T users, however, are getting LMY47Z as an OTA. Ignore Google's labels.

Google finally changed the image label to "5.1.1 (All carriers except T-Mobile US) (LMY47Z)".
Have a New Unlocked Pixel 7 I bought from the Google store that I am setting up for my son. I un-locked the bootloader, and now it's time to flash the latest factory image. This phone will be on used on the Xfinity mobile netwrok which is a Verizon MVNO. On the Google factory image page it has the standard image and also a Verizon, Verizon MVNOs image. Which is the correct image to flash? Does it make a difference?
Thanks

It's my understanding that the Verizon image probably contain Verizon specific add-on apps the other doesn't. If you have connection problems after flashing the non-verizon image, you can flash just the modem/radio image of the Verizon image.
I've always bought Google store unlocked phones and have had no issues flashing either one.

Never thought of just flashing the radio.img. Just used pixelflasher for 1st time to flash, kinda easy and cool. Flashed the stock image.
Thanks
If you're only using Xfinity Mobile, best to flash the Verizon build, as it will have fixes not in the general build.
