Does anyone know how to unbrick? I was putting back to stock when my cmd window locked up, unplugged now no OS installed. Dead android and stock recovery is usable but I can't sideload anything. I get an installation aborted error each time I try something.

If you still have fastboot, flash the full firmware. I would link you to the firmware you need, but you didn't mention your model and version of android.
For example my moto x is the xt1095 on 5.1.

Do you have ADB and fastboot software installed in your PC? Either have that or download Android SDK. You can boot your phone via ADB command lines.

Can you reach the boot menu by pressing the volume down key while powering on?
Otherwise, try to check if fastboot is able to see your device and flash some new boot and system image
You have a Nexus One, not sure why you're using the Nexus 7 Toolkit..

Yes, installed correct. it show up in the Device Manager list.
Anyway, i go to try this driver. Thanks. Let me know u
hmm. unlucky. Still nothing. Windows take a signal when connecting phone shows on fastboot menu => fastboot usb and adb mode say error device not found:crying:
i scanned my drivers using driver genius v11, i saw android driver named Samsung_Android_4.0_usbdrivers. now i think its something wrong with my boot.img?
When you see fastboot usb, and you type fastboot devices in a terminal, what does it say? ADB only works in recovery or when your ROM is booted, so just focus on fastboot.
it say when N1 is fastboot usb mode "error device not found". thanks for advance. tomorrow i'll be ask more.

Hey guys. Finally my N1 detected in adb mode. Im used Nexus 7 toolkit, downloaded N1 official Rom (i used only boot.img from zip file)
1st ive installed toolkit, then flashed boot.img (from official rom) to /system/ folder. Finally Windows device manager say detected new device and downloading drivers.
Started cmd.exe typed adb shell => adb mode showed HT9**********. Now problem is wont boot. What i do now? :silly:
i hope u can enter fastboot usb mode. if so try flashing any recovery.img

Yes, I'm stupid and know better, but I just picked up a One, unlocked the bootloader, rooted and went S-off, ran the Superwipe script, but forgot to put a ROM to flash on the phone, and now I can only toggle between Recovery and bootloader. When I try to sideload a ROM in Recovery using the All-In-One, I get is "error: device not found". And when I use the command "adb devices", nothing shows up. I know I have a connection because the All in One tool does allow me to push a recovery to the phone, but I can't do much else.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Can you toggle usb through recovery to access card and pc to move one over?

That was my first thought, but I don't see an option for that in TWRP Recovery.

May not be. PM Indirect. He should be able to help you get at least back to stock. Haven't messed with mine enough yet to know it that well.
Should I try a different recovery?

have you tried reverting back to the stock rom and starting completely over from scratch?
Have you tried to sideload a rom from the computer? It's under the advanced settings in TWRP.

Yes, as mentioned in the first post, I get a "device not found" error when I try to sideload.
I had to run an ruu yesterday.
I did a full format. Nothing to push a Rom to on the sd and sideload failed....
Fastboot oem lock
Run the ruu
Then unlock using the same token.bin you had the first time.

I don't know why people don't invest in otg cable. It just cost a few dollars, and could be big time saver.

Grab this tool http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=40341536
Download a Sprint Rom you like and then from the tool click sideload Rom (do this while your phone is connected to the computer / bootloader). You may also need to click install HTC drivers from within the tool.

Did this and it worked! Thanks for bailing me out of this, and thanks to everyone for taking the time time to respond!
in the future for anyone else who gets in this state you can run ./adb push {location to rom .zip file} /sdcard/ from the terminal to push it to the phone while you are in recovery

Hello XDA,
Bought my brother an XT1095 (US Pure Edition). He's not a tech savvy guy, but bottom line is that the phone began updating (unclear from which Android version to which), crashed, and is now stuck in the following boot sequence:
Motorola logo screen
Installing system update screen with Android logo (gets to about 25% before moving onto step 3)
Dead Android guy with exclamation mark
Repeat
From step 3, I'm able to get into recovery and then fastboot. Neither factory reset nor cache wipes work because "E: fails to mount /cache...etc." My brother lives in the UK (I'm with him right now) so he's unable to send the US phone for servicing (Motorola only accepts UK phones in their UK center).
The top of the recovery screen says: "LXE22.46-11"
Top of fastboot screen says: "60.11 (sha-72b218f, 2014-10-26 12:07:20)" "Device is LOCKED"
Not sure what to do since I don't even know what android version/kernel/baseband is currently installed. I have a Mac with android sdk, adb and fastboot installed.
I'd appreciate pointers to what to do next, what to flash etc.
Thanks in advance!
Try flashing the stock firmware:

Tried it. Flashing fails on gpt.bin. I believe I need an unlocked bootloader, but that will void the warranty. Any way to do it without?
You don't need to unlock your bootloader to flash stock firmware.
You said it failed. That is normal, it will fail if you already have the 5.1 partition on the phone. Just continue flashing the other files.
The 2 that will fail if you already had 5.1 installed are gpt and motoboot. If those 2 fail it can be ignored safely.

I need some big help. I was having issue with my battery and phone powering off when not on a charger. I thought change the OS with Android N beta could help me with the issue.. When I was complete the fastboot commands .. I mistakenly use the lock bootloader command as well. So my devices is suck on the Google Logo.. Can someone help me with this issue?

Well, try first doing a factory reset from the recovery mode.
If it doesn't help, just unlock it and flash everything again.
My bad.. I meant to add that its not let me unlock the bootloader.. Its asking me to select OEM unlock in the setting of my devices

Does anyone know if you can send the software via adb from the recovery screen
Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
Try doing the factory reset through recovery, and if it doesn't work, take this steps and sideload the ota:
https://developer.android.com/preview/download-ota.html
Tried factory reset several time and that didn't work.. But I'm going to try this method when I get home

Google makes OTA update zips available that can be flashed even if OEM Unlock is disabled. Assuming you are still able to access the bootloader, download the latest Nexus 6 Android 6.0.1 OTA and copy it to internal storage. Enter recovery and flash. This will wipe your entire system, but your phone will be operational again.
From there, you need to go through the process of unlocking the bootloader, and then you can try installing the N preview again.
