Okay, Thanks

I second that. I am running a P3 1100 low voltage on BB v5 runs amazingly smooth.

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1827635
Can I do it to my S3 mini? Is it need to "only root" or "root+kernel"?
Sorry for bad English.
There is no kernel yet to overclock this phone.

If kernel is ready can I do it ? And is s3 mini gpu quad core?
It's a single core Mali-400MP GPU.

Strange, Wikipedia says it's quad core

Your getting specs confused with galaxy S3 that's quad core. S3 mini is dual core.

On wikipedia it says that its single core gpu, but thats wrong (?)

Yes that's right GPU is graphics display chip which is single core Mali-400. Processor chip is Dual Core.

check the resolution. The Higher it is, the lower fps and score but also have addittional effect and more detailed.

You wont have a dead processor unless you overvolt it which I dont think you would do anyways. By the time your processor is dead, you'd have long gotten a new phone. The most you could get is stability problems where there is not enough voltage to supply the processor and in that case your phone would just crash.
its like how on a computer if you overclock and you dont supply enough voltage to your processor, you receive a blue screen.
So is it safe to overclock to 1.4
Ghz?

Yep, I had it at 1.4ghz for a long time with no problems. But now that I'm on beast mode kernel, I can't OC.
Some people have it at 1.8 GHz without problems
Sent from my not so Incredible S
Beastmode runs well at 2ghz actually on my phone
But I have it now to run at 1.2ghz

If you overclock your CPU too much without raising the voltage it may not even boot.

Thanks!!I'll try 1.4Ghz next time cuz I feel nothing change on 1.2ghz
