sorry to bother u guyz...
a day ago, i was trying to install custom to original one "ERD79"
but i want able to enter recovery mode (without RA-v1.7.0).
is it usual situation, cannot able to enter recovery mode without RA-v1.7.0 ???
without a custom recovery there is nothing called a recovery menu.....
but still u can enter recovery but you will not be able to do anything with it
i guess while flashing the ERD79, you must have flashed the original recovery....

I was going through the [guide] root in development section. Wanted to know what is the difference between the recovery_menu_v1-2.0.0.2 image and CWM Recovery image and why cannot I use the CWM recovery to root device with stock rom.
Thanks

1.CWM give u an alternate recovery to the stock recovery
with this u can Flash custom roms, kernals and other things u want as a update zip
u can also create an ext part on ur phone with this also
2. rooting u need to do to tweek ur phone
like overclocking & removing any un wanted Bloatware etc.
My Galaxy Note wont boot after using cwm.zip & says entended comand notpresent, have still got access to both download & recoverymode.. Been given fewideas but never seem to work ???? i need laymens terms lol
which recovery do you have now ? stock or custom (cwm) ?
CWM.zip is unsafe, im suprised you found a download link for it, i thought they'd all been removed.
anyway, download philz kernel and flash it in stock recovery, or cwm recovery, this should fix you up, if not you may need to reflash stock firmware.
tell me your current rom / android version and ill find you the correct recovery to flash.
You need to post your current rom and kernel and details of what you're trying to flash.

You'll find it here.
Both as .img & cwm-flashable zip.

Alternatively, you can search for stock ROM here:

Have got TWRP installed on H811 20q, but would like to get rid of it so that I can get OTA update to work (for now). I cannot get LGUP or Uppercut to work properly so I want to go back to stock and will then reinstall twrp/root etc and then custom ROMs. What is the best method to get back to stock recovery without LGUP?
Download the stock recovery .IMG or extract it from a stock ROM .zip and flash it in twrp

Haven't seen a stock ROM zip with a recovery file in it, at least so far. Any suggestions on where to find this would be appreciated.
