Help with Xposed - T-Mobile Galaxy Note 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

OK, I always do some research before asking a question, but I need a little help on this one. I'm running deathstalker V2 (lollipop) and as I search for xposed I'm finding unofficial versions, hacked versions, xposed 3.0 alpha 1 through 4 and I'm just lost now because the ones I tried didn't do anything. Can someone please take a few minutes and tell me if there is a version that works on the Note 4 running lollipop, and if so the links to where I can download.

The unofficial one.

Install SELinux Changer, make sure its set on permissive. Install Xposed apk. Reboot to recovery and flash the zip.

xposed-v65-sdk21-arm-arter97-V5-generic or xposed-v65-sdk21-arm-arter97-V5-krait will work

Xposed framework 65 3.0 alpha 4
I have xposed framework 65 working on 3.0 alpha 4 Apk. I had the previous alpha 1 that I installed through recovery. Then I ran the alpha 4 apk over the old one and installed the framework through recovery. Works fine on pop rocks v6.

[Q] Can I install Xposed framework and GravityBox in my Galaxy Core II?

Hi, I bought a Samsung Galaxy Core II through my carrier's shop a week ago. I already rooted the phone. I'm also using Nova launcher 3.3 (latest), and everything else is stock. Core II came with Android 4.4.2 installed, carrier's version, but as I am a superuser, I've deleted a lot of useless stuff.
The question:
¿Can I install Xposed framework and GravityBox [KK] in this device?
This is what I'd install if someone here confirms that I can:
Xposed Installer 2.7 experimental1: http://repo.xposed.info/module/de.robv.android.xposed.installer
GravityBox [KK] 3.5.1: http://repo.xposed.info/module/com.ceco.kitkat.gravitybox
Is it OK?
I've noticed, reading GravityBox's thread, this:
Compatibility
- Supports AOSP devices running vanilla Android 4.4
- Supports Motorola Moto G Dual SIM running stock KitKat
- Supports ThL 5000 running stock KitKat and potentially other MediaTek devices running pure MediaTek ROMs
- DOES NOT support devices running ROMs vastly modified by device manufacturers (HTC Sense, Samsung Touchwiz, MIUI, LeWa, Xperia, ...)
- SHOULD NOT be used with custom ROMs like CM, AOSPA, RootBox, SlimBean and others - it makes no sense since the most of the features are already
in the ROM (may cause conflicts and unexpected behaviour)

Does that mean that if you have a Samsung, Xperia, HTC... mobile, GravityBox won't work due to compatibility issues?
My goal is to change the function of the volume buttons to only modify the volume of "Music, video, games and other media", in every situation, so it doesn't matter if I'm in the home screen, in YouTube App or using Chrome, always change the "Music, etc" volume, not Notification's one, or Ringtone's, or system's. So if I accidentally press volume up, the phone does not changes from Mute to Sound, or changes the volume of the ringtone, and all that stuff. They told me that I can accomplish that with GravityBox.
Thanks, hope someone here can help me out!
Yes you can i have the same device and i installed xposed and gravity box and both worked well

Wow, thank you. Installed and working nicely. How awesome is GravityBox!
on my core 2 it says ''xopsed is not (yet) compatible with Android SDK version 19 or your processor architecture (armeabi-v7a).'' and so the install/update button is not highlighted.

Use the latest (v2.7 experimental1) Xposed.apk file from here.
Not compatible with core 2
I installedxxposed on core2 but it says not compatiblewith SDK 19. I installed a custom rom to make it run, but the rom was unstable so I had to go back to default Samsung core2 rom and now xposed is not working on the default Samsung rom. Amy way to make it run?

So you are running a KitKat ROM, right? You should use the Xposed v2.7 experimental1 from the Xposed repo.

I have a Samsung Galaxy Core 2 "SM-G355HN". There are other Samsung Galaxy Core 2 models that may behave different. It was very easy, though I did it long time ago, I don't remember well. I just followed the very simple and easy steps. First, I installed the Xposed framework, and then the module Gravity Box (for KitKat). But I don't remember the exact steps I did, sorry.
Same problem..framework wont update...bt i did it 1st time.. after uninstall it i cant update now...in galaxy core2..

First of all, be patient before constantly begging for help. Not all members with relevant knowledge are online at the same time as you.
Second: not all modules have been updated to work with Android Lollipop, so you might ask in the corresponding module thread. And maybe search for adequate modules. There are special versions for Android Lollipop available.
Did you perform a reboot after you installed and activated a module in Xposed framework?

5.1.1 running CM12.1 on OnePlus One can't get Xposed Framework to work

Hi everybody,
So I didn't want to bother you all with my problems because I know you have a lot of questions to answer but right now I have a problem. I am huge fan of Xposed Framework. That first said, I was running CM12.1 at the time when no Xposed version was working for CM12.1 so I moved to Exodus ROM and worked like a charm with a Super Alpha version. Then recently I had a problem and had to reset my phone and I couldn't get the phone with the Super Alpha. Everytime I went to flash it in TWRP I would get on a bootloop. Later, an official version of 5.1.x was released and I flashed it and it looked like it worked well because it was rebooting and everything so I went to Xposed Installer 3.0 alpha4 and it told me "Xposed Framerwork version 75 is active" so I was really excited but then realized no modules, not even one was actually working. So I thought it had something to do with Exodus so I moved back to CM12.1 and installed the same official framework with the 3.0 alpha version of Xposed Installer but it still gives me same message "Xposed Framerwork version 75 is active". I have the log if you want to.
I am sorry again and really hope you can help me in my despair

Try the thread below.

Try the "xposed-v78-sdk21-arm64.zip" but be prepared to uninstall it if it doesn't work.
You will get more responses if you post in the General section to this forum, not in the Developer forums.
it works........
xposed-v78-sdk21-arm64.zip i used the same zip...........
Mine phone is not getting start.only showing lenovo logo
I faced same problem, In old stock builds xposed-v78 only works and the latest builds xposed-v79 only works.
I don't know the margin between them so you must be ready with uninstall zip file
approximately all other roms xposed-v79 works fine on them
it may take about 10 minutes in the first time till phone open.

N-ify and xposed in 8.4 BLU

Hi guys I surprisingly installed 8.4 version and xposed v87 with ease. I have been trying modules and although I can't embed a number in my sim (I have fixed this now!!) exposed seems to work all right
I have checked n-ify and was excited however the very old stable vesion doesn´t show correctly the quick settings, and the top buttons, quick shortcut to settings doesn't work. However I read in the xposed forum for this phone that various people got it working, they used daily builds where quick settings and even the Google assistant worked, posted on October I searched for these, but I got stuck on 650, and early September build, newer ones will crash the system UI and render the device unusable until I delete the apk folder.
Soo does anyone have it with quicksettings and working? thanks for your time and support!!
UPDATE: I have disabled version 650 when rotating the device it would make SystemUI crash, and i tried disabling features to make it stable again but didn't mind turning it off all together, support and testing from everyone is very welcome
yeap its works i dont how it works but i hope that issue with camera on nogat fixed

thats makes me a little jealous lol.
what version of n-ify are you using? and is your xposed installation systemless??? thanks for the help
Nify version:0.2 and install stock rom v21 update. Xposed v87 sdk 23 arm try and tell me if it works
I have the "modified" newest 8.4 Rom (downloaded here & TWRP flashed, latest SU v2.82 running with Busybox ) ... OTA disabled (of course) to avoid relocking the bootloader, etc. Xposed Installer v3.1.1 and then Xposed Framework v87 (API23) - reboot in between. Finally, GravityBox (MM) v6.3.7 running - that allows me to tweak & customize my Lockscreen, Statusbar, Pulldown, etc. - those couldn't be done on the near stock MM 6.0 debloated & already stripped of Amazon Apps.
Everything is running smooth & stable since the mod's are basic & minimal ... also, unrelated but added 6.0.1 Emojis for messaging. Going to run with this basic setup for a little while before I attempt to play with N-ify.
Working good over here as well...!
