I've bought my Galaxy S GT-I9000 in Hongkong a few months ago. Since it didn't support German I decided to flash it with Odin. Now, the display remains black and the phone is not recognized by the computer anymore.
When trying to unbrick it with "one click unbrick" I was facing the problem, that the program did not run on my computer (Windows 7). I always received the message that I had to install it as the administrator. When trying to do so I received the same message over and over again.
Is there anyone who could help me with my problem. I'm a bit desperate as there is no service center here who wants to deal with my issue. They always tell me they don't feel responsible, because the mobile is not produced for the European market.
Thank you in advance!
Hi,
When I am trying to upgrade my phone (GT-N7000) from ICS to Jelly bean OS in between this process the phone struck up in a stage for long time so that I disconnect the battery and try to on the phone by pressing switch. In the phone there is no response and I try to hard reset the phone that time too no response in my phone. After that I saw a forum in the XDA as per that I used Riff box to recover my phone by resurrection method with the help of a professional, In the process the phone responses for some command after the resurrection. There was nothing happened in my phone. But the change is now when I am connected the phone to computer it detects in the usb mode but it requires sec s5pc210 test b/d driver. I created a forum for this driver requirement. For that forum I got a suggestion
‘You can try the latest Samsung USB Driver.
Just install it and follow the instructions as said in the thread. Hope it helps’

I had done the same thing. After that too the device manager displays the same error. Please help me to trouble shoot the problem and to reboot my phone. When I am charging the phone the battery got heat. Please suggest me the possible ways to recover my phone. Thanks in Advance
Saravanan.
I just search for the driver message here in the forum (after googling without result).
There are a few threads with Galaxy devices with this problem - from what I read the devices are "dead". Repair by Samsung necessary.
For the Nexus S I read about a solution that Adam Outler wrote for it (called "UnBrickable Ressurector").
It's a java app you have to use in a debian linux environment.
BUT: There's no "sign" in the thread that it works for the N7000!.
All other threads asking for help in this case didn't show a solution
So you should read and research yourself there. Maybe you find some hints how to do it.
I guess only real repair will help you.
New to Windows Phone 8 (been flashing custom ROMs on Android phones for a few years). Got an unlocked (previous Rogers) Ativ S SGH-T899M from Canada and have been using it on T-Mobile for the past few months. I tried to update it to GDR3 via the "Preview for Developers" and the phone is bricked. It gave me a BSOD error during the update and now it won't turn on. I tried every button combination possible to reset it to no avail.
When I connect it to my PC, it comes up as a Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008 (COM3).
I've searched everywhere and it seems that there are no T899M ROMs to flash? Any ideas and help would be greatly appreciated it. I love my phone and don't want to get rid of it!
No ROMS are available for it. I've been meaning to ask who has been leaking the ROMs for the 3g/non-lte model, but I have no clue. This is one of the things I've covered in the FAQ.
ROM is out... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=58872571&postcount=6
Hi guys, i really need help. I was trying to upgrade my XT1068 to marshmallow and i've flashed a file that bricked my device and now it doesn't initiate. At first, when i plugged in the phone to my PC, it was recognized as "qhsusb_bulk" but now my PC doesn't recognize my phone when i plug it in. On device manager appears: "Unknown device (device request descriptor failed)"
What can i do?? i am desperate
please answer me!!
EDIT: Sorry for bad english, it's not my native language
Sorry to hear that. Welcom to the ever growing BRICK CLUB! I don't think there is an answer to our problem at the moment. The main problem seems to be downgrading the bootloader which is what bricks the phone. We need certain files that Motorola won't release. So until then there is no answer or solution. I ended up buying a new phone...
I have a nexus 6 phone (mostly 2014 model) , I think phone is hard bricked, it won't turn at all. When I connect it to laptop (windows 10) it shows as qualcomm.... 9008 in device manager... So if there is way to unbrick it please guide me.. ? .. And I am new in this... So I hope you people help me
