How I can unlock my HTC One mini 2 without buying unlocking code? I heard about the code is written somewhere in ROM and you need to root to find it, it's this correctly, and if it's truly where it is stored?
Thanks in advance:highfive:

Sim unlock, CID unlock, lock unlock? What type of unlocking are you referring to?

sim unlock app for sgs phones.i used it and it works great! READ THE FRIGGIN INSTRUCTIONS make backups, backup your backups to PC and ext sd card, EVERYWHERE.
Must use method 2, as rogers phones dont have the code stored inside it. method 1 returns FFFFF, must do file swap method.

Try code from Online site If you cannot get that means try from Online sites.
Hi all,
My question is rather simple.
I received my HTC One yesterday. It is branded by the French carrier Sosh.
I'd like to debrand it, so I cans put the stock HTC Sense Rom.
The carrier will send me an unlock code next week.
Can I do everything to debrand my phone, and then only sim unlock it?
Will I lose the official sim unlock passing the device to S-OFF, unlocking the bootloader, etc...?
Thank you very much for your help, I'd really appreciate.

Unlocking the bootloader, rooting, s-off and stock rom will not remove the sim lock.
The only way to sim unlock without paying a third party is to wait for the unlock code
Thank you for your answer.
And in another way, I can do everything, and only then, enter the code?

Yes you should be fine
I also think it does not make sense which you will do first. If unlocking the bootloader, S-Off, root cannot unlock the phone wwhy they will locked it after unlocked from the carrier with code from same. Also if there is any reason the phone to be locked itself you will have already the code to unlock it again.

Hi All,
Hi have the HTC One Locked to Rogers, I had previously unlocked the phone as Im with Koodo. I purchased an unlock code and everything worked just find I was using the phone on the Koodo network for several months, then one day it lock up at the quietly brilliant screen after several attempts I was able to reboot the phone and same thing happened, again after a reboot it finally wouldn't power up. Needless to say I had to send it in under warrantied repair. I got the phone back and the main-board had to be replaced. I attempted to unlock the phone again via code just as I did before using IMEI, each individual states that a code could not be generated. I have rooted devices before but I'm no seabiscuit if you know what I mean and am not entirely sure to what extent I need to go to root and unlock the phone. Before anyone says anything about the rooting/unlocking i know this wont immediately solve my problem but if I have this access can I not find the unlock code in the phone once rooted in addition to other alternatives?. I appreciate any help you guys and gals have to offer.
Thank you

Anyone??? I'm sure I can root this thing but don't know where to go from there.
You will need a new unlock code generated to sim unlock the phone. Has nothing to do with rooting the device. Unless you mean bootloader unlock??

I mentioned I had done this! Unlock code cannot be generated for this IMEI after repair. I am fully aware that rooting will not resolve this. However I will need to root in order to attempt an unlock of carrier via whatever methods are available once rooted such as using hex editor custom roms or whatever other methods are available. Again phone was unlocked via code previously after repair the main-board was replaced and an unlock code cant be generated apparently for the new IMEI.
Are you saying that you can't buy a SIM unlock code?

I bought an unlock code twice, both times I was told that my IMEI could not generate an unlock code. The codes were bought from a reputable source. I was refunded both times. This phone was sent for repair they replaced the main-board. Prior to this repair phone was unlocked via sim
There is no way to unlock via rooting currently.
Perhaps wait a few months and the code may come in to system

Hi guys...
Does someone have a s3 mini GT-18190N, and it success to root or unlock?
Better to say, i need to unlock my phone, how to do it?
On the other way, If there is not a free way to unlock phone, IF then I root and put some custom rom on my phone will it be unlocked by default?
And the final question, does custom roms (on this site) also working for my gt-18190N version or just for GT-18190 ???
Thanks,
nice regards

hi
i suppose u are talking about Sim Unlock? right?
and not bootloader unlock,
normally just unlock means to unloack bootloader to be able to flash custom recowery, thatway you can also root and install custom roms....
sim unlock on the other hands, you can do it also without root etc... but you need code from your operator, or u have to purchase one online cca 20$
and i have no idea if there is other way, or if anybodes did it...
I have read that it is possible to unlock my SIM without needing to purchase an unlock code. Specifically, this thread outlines some process. Is this still an option and does anyone have experience with it?
