i get only 3 hours of SOT max and the real problem is that when the battery goes down to 15% it all of a sudden gives me prompt that battery is low and then in next 3 seconds it says battery is 1% and then mobile turns off and it does not even turn on again!!!
it has happened to me like 3 times now and just now i was replying to your comment on my phone and it happened. from 15% to literally no charge to even switch it on once! this is an serious issue, right?

If your phone and battry are original , the problem maybe calibration

the problem may be battery but it seems ok.
the real issue to me, seems the calibration. can u tell me how to do that? i have very bad experience in past with calibration apps, with my Tab S 8.4 so im afraid of that also. but still if it solves problem i can try/

yes its rooted with CWM recovery
Dr. Ketan 5.0.1 Rom L3 installed
charge your phone 100%, go to root expelore: go to data/ system / and delete BatteryStats.bin
now work with your phone untill phone turned off , now charge your phone 100%
Finished?
I think you changed your rom with lower than 100% battry , and this problem happend.

u mean 100 to 55 in an hour and half? NO
---------- Post added at 04:47 AM ---------- Previous post was at 04:34 AM ----------
but could be possible if you continously surfing and watching videos etc
But even if i continously surfed the web how on earth my battery went from 100 to 55 in just 1 hour? This is happening for about two weeks now. I had better battery life before. If my battery was degraded i believe on standby it would' t last, but on standby i have very good battery life. When i use the phone my battery drains out like crazy

Hi,
I had V10F now im at V10H (same problem)
My battery life decreasing literally by the minute, when I hold the phone with nothing running, just looking at the screen I get 1% battery decrease in about every 2-3 minutes.
I got the phone with V10F and now upgraded to H and did Factory reset, nothing changed.
Is this a common bug?
Thanks
Install better battery stats and check what is draining ur battery. And it ain't sounds like a bad battery. But better battery stats should help u determine what is causing the issue.

Whats the best app to see which apps takes the most battery?
I think it was a mistake to sell my Galaxy Note for X4, I never had such serious battery issues and I always assumed that in regular non gaming, non multimedia use the tegra3 will use the 5th LP core.
what a disappointment.
Now It stopped connecting to WiFi N networks for some reason

Hi Dante501: I have Better Battery Stats installed on my mobile. I am able to check the battery loss since unplugged, boot, etc.
However, BBS app does not show the name of app that took maximum battery, etc. The other app sugggested on XDA Easy Battery Saver does show the detailed information. EBS has some in-mobile advts which I clicked quite often and get charged for some useless services. I have unisntalled and have only BBS.
Is there some other apps that gives the details as to which app too how much percentage, and so on. That will be very useful. Thanks in advance for your suggestions/info.

Im not sure its possible, after I updated the ROM I did factory reset and format
Well unless its one of the Lg apps.
Im going to use the guide and disable all of them
Any ideas what can affect wifi? I mean if it connects to G but not N its not broken rihgt?
P.S. I also noticed that X4 has no WiFiN 5Hz support, when I used Note it always found my 5Ghz SSID and I was able to connect.
X4 wont even find it, it finds 2.4Ghz N but trys to connect and then nothing.
was working fine 2 days ago. with occasional issues, I had to off/on the wifi before It could connect to N network.
Now it wont connect at all.

I don't know what you guys are doing with the phone but, mine last for more than two days last time I need to charge it, using GPS for 45min.+/-, normal calls 30min.+/- and about 45min. total in the internet (checking emails, facebook, playstore and xda app).
Today I almost didn't use it, only one call, about 5 min., I play a race in NFS, around 5min., check the playstore for news and updates 10min.,

Stock
Yes Rooted.
Rom - Original
Not sure about other stuff ;D
Go to your settings, then battery. See if there is anything eating up alot of battery or causing a Wakelock. Could be an app or game you have that's causing it. Could also be the battery going bad if it's been over charged or gotten wet. There an app in the market that shows how and when apps run, and it shows the battery they use. Sadly I can't remember it's name, so hopefully someone will chime in and let you know. It should help single out a "bad" app.

There is Phone Idle which uses 45% of my battery
Cell Standby which use 48% of my battery
Display 5%
Download Better Battery Stats from the market (or elsewhere) to find out more specifically what's eating up resources. Since you're on a stock rom I believe your problem is either a bad battery, or an app/game.

hey try this method ...
1 .. do not overclock
2 .. do not put ur mob in cover
3 .. do no over charger means remove charger when mobile is showing full charge ,
4 .. (funny one) if possible , try to use mobile without back cover for five min in between 1 hour ,
5 .. use good rom for ur device
this is very easy steps u can use it normly ... if it happen still i will prefer u to go for service centre ...
1 .. do not overclock
Nothing wrong with it if you know what you're doing.
2 .. do not put ur mob in cover
Nothing wrong with a case. If it leads to overheating then there is a different problem.
3 .. do no over charger means remove charger when mobile is showing full charge ,
I agree 100%.
4 .. (funny one) if possible , try to use mobile without back cover for five min in between 1 hour.
Nobody does this unless there is already a problem.
5 .. use good rom for ur device
This is a matter of opinion. Stock, or a vetted rom. Up to the user.
1, 2 and 5 don't apply to him. 3 is important for him. 4...couldn't hurt I guess.

I seem to be getting pretty average battery on my Z3C and the estimated battery life shows it. When I first got it it was showing an estimated 2 day life and now this shows as 5 hours average. My normal usage yesterday lasted me 5 hours of screen time and 15 hours total. Not sure if there's an app eating up my battery or if I have a defective unit.

It might be because you checked it at 99%. Going from 100 - 99% is usually quite fast. Could you post later results? Maybe around 40% or so?
Edit - I should have looked closer. Didn't realize you were charging the phone. Sorry, I got nothing for you then, other than to charge it a couple more times and test it out then. You probably did get yourself a dud battery.

What was the app? My usual battery life is around 5 hours SOT with around 17 hours total uptime between charges, which sounds like what you were having.
Google search is what was killing my battery. It was creating a wake lock due to locations so I had to turn it off

Gotcha. I went ahead and turned off the location reporting portion of Google Now, we'll see if I can achieve similar results When you say you reinstalled the firmware, do you mean you did a factory reset?

Yeah. That's the real Turbo charger you got.
My device's temperature also increase while charging. And that's why I don't use my device that time.
But I don't know, why it's taking 3 hrs to completely charge your device.

BTW, I'm also kept turned off "Day Dream & Ambient Display".
I think the "turbo charger" is a piece of crap. My phone would get so hot and I could also see the screen sort of glitch while charging. So I switched to a 2 amp Sammy charger and I also use amazon kindle charger. Both work great and charge fast while keeping the phone at a good temp.

Try flashing back to stock
I had the same issue with one of the Nexus 6 phones. flashing back to complete stock didn't help. I tried everything possible and nothing helped. I called Motorola and they sent out a brand new phone in days. Unfortunately, i think this is the only solution for you.
Their is an app on the play store. They are battery calibration need root also. I use it whenever I flash new ROM, it works well.
I ran into the same issue where my phone would get extremely hot when charging. I fixed the issue by changing the kernel.

I have since changed Kernels. I think I have tried most, if not all of them so far. The key is to try them out and find the one that works the best for your ROM.
