Sorry if this has been asked before, did a couple searches and found nothing related so here it goes: as title says is there a way to check the Snapdragon version/revision of this phone? I mean factory wise, no third party tools. I'm a bit confused because this phone launched under the statement of the Snapdragon 810 v2 revision 2.1 and the thermal heats / performance improvements. But recently I've seen some Sony/HTC phones that were released under the "old" version (specially the M9) having a firmware update that brought the performance to the same scores in all benchmarks to the rev 2.1 supposedly the Mi Note Pro has so I'm a bit confused with all of the revisions, is this one a different revision? Is there a way to check it out, like in recovery mode or through adb/fastboot? If so could you post and share your results / findings? Thanks
The snapdragoon 810 rev. 2.1 have a overclocked GPU , "normal" 810 chip have a gpu clock set to 600 ; 2.1 versions have a 630 clock in the gpu, so download cpuz and check it.

Are any in depth Galaxy Note 4 benchmarks. We all saw early benchmarks on GSM Arena, but I haven't found any Antutu, Geekbench, or Quadrant scores, to name a few. I know that benchmarks aren't everything, but as a Note 3 owner I'm excited to see performance enhancements brought to us by the Snapdragon 805 with the Adreno 420.

Better to wait for the actual reviews, as benchmarks and performance can still be tweaked for the final software version.
Knowing Samsung the first firmware might be a bit laggy. I remember worrying about Note 10.1 because in reviews it was slow as hell - first update fixed all that.
That makes sense. The Korean model will be released relatively soon, so I expect some more info. I'm almost certain that the software the showroom floor was fully optimized.
As for the Note 10.1 2014, I still have mine and can confirm that it has gotten better with every update. I'm running Hyperdrive, and it runs as smooth as butter. The benchmarks reflect that as well, with numbers only slightly lower than my Note 3.
So, i got curious and downloaded the "CPU z" application to have a look at my phones specs in detail. I found that my processor was the "4x ARM Cortex A7 @1.19Ghz". however the advertised processor is the "1.20GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400" now, is this just a pre-manufacturing model name and I'm just being stupid or is something fishy going on here?
Also i find it odd that the actual processor in my device is clocked at 1.19 when i in fact was under the idea that it's a 1.20 clock speed. I'm sure it wouldn't make that much difference but still seem odd?
could someone put my mind at rest and tell me that I'm just being an amateur and to go back into my android noobie cave or can someone confirm that in fact something fishy is going down.
thanks!

And don't worry about the clock speed.
I hope this answers your question.

Sorry for this question, but I'm very confuse about gpu of I9070,some people said "s advance have single gpu" but on website official novathor u8500 said "multi core gpu process graphics 2d and 3d" So s advance have single or dual gpu ? Thanks http://developer.sonymobile.com/knowledge-base/technologies/novethor-u8500/
S Advance has a single core Mali 400 MP GPU. And as far as I know, the Galaxy S2 also has a Mali 400 MP GPU - but its dual core (instead of just one core). If you read about Mali-400 MP in ARM's website (link), this is what you'll see:
Scalable from 1 to 4 cores the Mali-400 MP enables a wide range of different use cases, from mobile user interfaces up to smartphones, tablets and DTVs, to be addressed with a single IP. One single driver stack for all multi-core configurations simplifies application porting, system integration and maintenance. Multicore scheduling and performance scaling is fully handled within the graphics system, with no special considerations required from the application developer

So this shows that different phones can use the same GPU but with different number of cores.
PS: Anyone is free to correct me if I'm wrong.

Thanks for answer. It's very stranger because my galaxy S advance runs n.o.v.a 3 smooth and fast (mali400), and I have one tablet based allwinner A13 (mali 400), sometimes I got hard lags ( yes I always optimize my mb ram).
hello everyone Today I have updated my aututu benchmark to V. 6.0 and as I saw many things have changed including 3D testing and it was so lagyy when I tested it on my 5.1.1 exynos note4 I will share with you some pics of the results my total score was 66868, make atest on yours devices and tell me about your scores.
sent from my N9I0C.
I received my note 4 today (qualcom) I test it and report my antutu here. (I don't know how many times I can keep my new device's on official States, without root, etc..)

I dunno if i am the only one who feels that gpu performance is lowered there was a bug in android 5.0.1 in exynos variant that made gpu run on half of its speed i thought it was fixed in android 5.1.1 but in real life performance i have noticed some lag in games like asphalt 8 a lag that wasn't found in kitkat u can notice this lag when game is showing map before the race in 3 2 1, i hope if note 4 owners share their experience with gpu performance in 5.1.1 update

Some games are not optimised for the exynos variants thats why there is a lag...
other than that it gives a fluent performance and sometimes performs better than snapdragon (experience with note 2, note 3, lg g pro and note 4)
i have 74889 score on Antutu 6
i put My Note 4 in the fridge while testing and i was overclock it to max 3000 GHZ cpu and 800 GPU

The Snapdragon 805 is a beast of a SoC
Sent from my Note 4 using Tapatalk
From what i can deduce from dn5 roms or other roms based on note 5 that note 5's rom is made in such a way that it cheats antutu to get a score of 80+ (if it is scoring less than this in ideal conditions), like it increases the scores of ux, its like we have an ssd builtin our note 4 which we cant use untill we r on note 5 rom, but in reality its not ssd. i m not saying that xda or independent developers have any kind of hand in this but samsung might do this kind of thing and they have done something like this in the past.
This is a theory.
No offence to anyone.

Lets make it clear i dont and i never trusted antutu i but Wat is weird is that exynos score was much higher than snapdragon in kitkat then in android 5.0.1 exynos had a gpu bug that made it's acore lower than snapdragon, now in android 5.1.1 this bug is supposed to be fixed so why snapdragon is scoring more than exynos by more than 3k

Antutu is just bull**** lol just delete it. Exynos 7420 isnt that powerfull either. Stick with pcmark, geekbench and gfxbench if you want to check benchmarks.
Hey guys.
Can someone with an Exynos Note9 test out Dolphin's performance?
As far as I can make out, previous phones with Exynos were missing important OpenGL drivers, or the kernel was out of date, or something. This caused Dolphin to really struggle.
The Snapdragon variants of devices never had this problem.
Samsung is making a big deal out of having Vulkan support, so does this improve Dolphin's performance?
Yeah some one try.
The Mali GPU has less benchmark school than even SD835 which came Last year thought.
can you answer this question about dolphin on exynos please ?
