I can't get WiFi calling to work what so ever. I've tried different ROMs etc rebooting, resetting different routers, won't work. I have WiFi calling on and set to preferred.
I am on T-Mobile, and using lmy28e

What kernel?
Stock. I got it to work. No idea what was wrong. I read around and most people say if your boot.img file is modified WiFi calling won't work. A few others said it had to do with the radio.
So I downloaded the factory image extracted the needed files and flashed boot.img, the radio and cache.img . rebooted and it works right away .

I had the same issue and reflashing those 3 img also cleared it up. Good to know if it happens in the future. I'm not sure what could have corrupted those.

Hi,
i got a annoying Issue with the ONE. If i edit my hosts file manually or with the AdAway App everything works fine until i restart the Phone. (Sometimes it's not necessaryto restart, the files get restored without i recognize some rebooting)
The Hosts and other System Files will be restored to the Original State. See Screenshots below.
Before reboot:

After reboot:

ah... thank you... can you recomend some image for the HTC ONE? (Stock Android 4.3)
I've had good luck with flar2's kernels. He has 'bulletproof' if you want a set it and forget kernel or elementalX if you want more control with over/under-clocking and over/under-volting, etc...

Pardon if I'm reviving something of an old thread, but I have the same issue. I have a GS4 that I've flashed to a Google Edition-based ROM (wanted 4.3 kernel and something slimmer that still had Wallet support), but I've noted the exact same thing. Any hosts-based ad-blocker tends to fall flat no matter what the method I used. Any attempt to alter the hosts file is always reset upon reboot.
I've already taken advice and tried a custom kernel (in this case, Chronic Kernel), but not only did this not fix the hosts file problem, it also broke Wallet, so I had to backtrack. I may be stuck with my ROM's kernel due to the Wallet support.
Perhaps someone has another suggestion?
I'm also having the same issue on gs4 any help would be appreciated
I still do not have any Roam settings on my ONE and the phone has been replaced 2x and none of my phone have ever had the Roaming settings. I have flashed almost every single ROM in the Android Developement list and to no avail. I even went back to pure stock and the options are completely missing. I have been under Mobile data and in the more option and I have nothing about Roaming.
Is there a Rom that has the full roam settings on them and I know I am not the only one with this problem because I have already seen a post about this.
Can someone please help me?

I give up my phone does not have any of the Roaming options anywhere. I just flashed the ViperRom and I did not get the options. It is time for me to get another phone brand. and my mobile data keeps dropping so I am went from bad to worse. I am annoyed. Thanks for the all the help guys but I am thru with this Sprint HTC One. I do the SIMUnlock I read the all the pages int he Sprint SimUnlock and flash and I still cannot get my radio to work properly. I cannot turn my roaming on/off....I cannot enable gsm voice or data because of these missing feature. Finally even after updating to 4.3 and using the new radio it does not find any of the GSM sim cards I put in unless I go back to the first radio for the HTC one.
So F it!
I will go buy a Note 3 or something.
So, it's stuck on this screen:

I cannot get into Download Mode. It won't connect to Kies. Won't leave this screen. I'm assuming it's bricked. I'd love to be wrong and someone could tell me something can be done aside from a JTAG.
That is also a download mode.
Use Odin to flash a stock rom.
You can try the method in my signature.

Well, I flashed it and now it's stuck on, what seems like, an infinite loop of the Samsung logo...
Maybe there was another problem that cause that failure in the first place.

I can get into the normal Download Mode now. Does that help me at all? lol
Have you ever heard of this "loop" before?
Anyone have any idea how I can get past this infinite Samsung loop now? I can get in download mode but I guess I need something different to flash? Surely someone has encountered this?
You could try to proceed with the overcome instruction. And use it to flash, say Omnirom
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2634278
Download Omnirom and it's recommended gapps and superSU
Use odin to flash overcome kernel 4.0 tar
Once you have it successfully installed, just immediately power off the tab (instead of letting the kernel do its file system conversion).
Then boot to cwm recovery and flash Omnirom zip.
Then flash gapps.
Then flash superSU.
See if that gets you anywhere.

OK! I finally found a ROM that works. Got it back up to 4.2.2 where I left off. Now I'm stuck with the original problem. It should be in a new thread...
I've seen in places where it says clearing data on the Google Services Framework pushes the OTA update but also can scree up sync issues. Anyone have any ideas. Still seeing my phone is up to date. Yesterday it said server was past daily limit. It's killing me waiting.
Thanks, Vinny

Originally, I was getting the message about the daily service limit, but now my phone says that 5.1.1 is already the latest version.
My USB port is not working properly, so I can't do an ODIN flash.
Thanks

Flash Twrp 3.0.2.0 use Odin
Root PE3 copy Super SU 2.74-2 paste internal storage, Flash in Twrp reboot ok
I had problems trying to flash root, and got boot loop, I used samfirm, downloaded the stock 6.01 mm and flashed through odin. now is working flawless. you will lose root and recovery and get stock.

...using the OEM Fast charger, samsung car charger and Samsung docking station.
The phone charges painfully slow, and can't connect to PC since the USB port needs to be replaced.
I eventually got the OTA update, so I was able to update that way.
Hi All,
I had bricked my phone while updating from OTA. It is not now booting up at all, not in Recovery/Fastboot too. I tried unbrick method from the below guide.
https://forums.oneplus.com/threads/guide-mega-unbrick-guide-for-a-hard-bricked-oneplus-3t.725029/
But I am running into issues while downloading cache.img as it failing again and again. I am facing issues as
FirehoseCheckRSP Failed, Errno: 258, I have attached the screenshot.

I tried multiple port in my both laptops i.e. Windows 10 - 64bits and Windows 7 - 32bits. But all in vain.
Please help. I am in no position to buy a new phone right now :crying::crying::crying:. Thanks!

Thanks for you response. I pasted a wrong link in my earlier post. I used the step from XDA too, including the one you shared. But ran into same issue. I have tried almost all the unbrick guides available but it is not going beyond "Downloading cache.img".
I used two version of stock ROMs i.e. "OnePlus3T_28_A.23_161027" and "OnePlus3T_28_A.041_170208" but both didn't work.
Is there anything which I should be doing differently. Thanks!
