Hoo, having trouble with ppi called and can't for the life of me work out how to block them calling again...surely it's possible on the z3+ without using extra apps our workarounds

how about save the number, and set the contact to 'all calls to voicemail'.
Thought about that but I shouldn't have to do that in this day and age! Thanks looks my only option

But I thought android must have some integrated call blocking feature??!!So any anybody knows if sony does not use this feature deliberately or android itself does not have this?
It is not a feature android or Sony use.
However devs have seen the benefit and have made apps available.

He's misinformed. It doesn't have that feature.
I use the pro version (paid) of this app. It works very well.
I did try the free version first but quickly went pro.
Try an app called Mr.number it blocks the calls and sms also. Change the blocking options to send to voice mail and u won't even know they called. It's a free app and does the job perfectly

I think I'm going to have to root as I need a call blocker that will not wake up the phone.

no ... no root required..i am using this past 4 years..... jst install and enjoy.... in options set it not to notify blocked call or sms...thats all.... u can manually check the log..and it hides entries from loag too...that too free....
I believe you can go to a contact in the phonebook app and then tick the option to make the call go directly to voicemail!
Enjoy .

use hangouts; simple and easy
We always get the short end of the stick in the states. I'm going international.... I've had enough

Google hangouts
Tango
Skype
Those are a couple apps you can use for video calling. There are hundreds (maybe more?) out there... but those are the 3 I have personally used and have decent luck with.:good:
Having an international phone is not enough, it needs to be supported by carrier.

So I've not really been able to understand why such a high amount of data is used by "removed apps"
I haven't really installed/removed multiple apps in the past couple of months.
Neither have I added or removed any users.

I was just wondering if there was a way to remove the 200 messages limit in the text app?

Go to Messages, then the "more" in the upper right, then "settings", then "more settings", and then unselect "delete old messages". I haven't reached that number yet I don't think, but I presume that that would take care of it for you.
