Lookout issues with riskware - Verizon LG G2

Anyone had lookout report com.leg.clock & com.leg.hiddenmenu
as riskware?
An attempt made by Lookout to remove com.leg.clock has failed twice.
Any advice would be appreciated.

Bloat Freezer - issue

Hey guys, today i tried to open bloat freezer, and i got the message that needs update, when i clicked to update, i got the message that is not available at the market.
I checked market via pc and i found it, but its not available anymore for me for installation
(although i have already bought it). So im wondering is it closed for me or for any P990 users ?
any1 have experinced the same ?
Just checked as I have it installed as well. I can't see any issues with it but I have it set to auto update.
Still seems to be appearing the the market.
I had the same issue and by installing another rom it disappeared but don't ask me why because it came back on another rom. I think it was on the mdc rom's
so try to install another rom.
Deinstalling the app won't work i already tried that several times
Bloat has been blocked from the market. Dont know why, but there seems like the app is doing something Google isn't happy about, as they have blocked/removed bloatfreezer two times now...I have been in contact with them, and got the following response. I decided to but MyBackupPro instead, as it gives the same possibilities and alot of other functionality as well
If you are an old customer that is having problems upgrading to the
latest version, instructions are below, please continue reading. If
you are a new customer with another issue, you can ignore this email
and I will respond to your email as soon as I can.
As you have probably noticed, Google removed the original Bloat
Freezer from the market for a stupid error in the app's description.
This makes it impossible for you to upgrade normally to the latest
version. There is nothing that we could have done to prevent this, and
Google refuses to reinstate the original app after we fixed the error.
We apologize greatly for the inconvenience and want you to know that
we love our customers and want to make this as easy as possible for
you no matter how hard Google tries to make it!!!
Below are instructions to get us the info I need to transition your
purchase from the old version to the new:
1. Go ahead and purchase the new version that is in the market.
2. Go to checkout.google.com and find BOTH the original order number
and the new order number and email both of these to us.
3. We will then refund your purchase for the original order ASAP.
4. You can then continue using the new version and get updates as
normal forever.
Once again, we apologize greatly for this inconvenience and are doing
this the best way possible. We hope that you will help us get back to
our 4.7 star rating by leaving a rating AND a comment in the market so
that others know that the new Bloat Freezer works just as great as the
old.
Thank you for understanding and sticking with us through this speed
bump that Google threw our way, we appreciate each and every one of
our customers and will be doing lots of manual labor to get all of
these orders transfered.

Virus on [vB2.9.1 Odexed][CM7 XRON-ified][Super Tweaked][Updated 01/03/2012]

Hi all,
I have been having problems downloading the
[vB2.9.1 Odexed][CM7 XRON-ified][Super Tweaked][Updated 01/03/2012]
from the link on the OP's post. I keep downloading a 156mb file and it contains three instances of the "trojan.androidos.plangton" virus, as detected by my kaspersky 2012, norton 360 AND MS Security Essentials virus scanners (on different machines and all updated for the latest definitions).
I have attached a screen print of the virus (from kaspersky) on a word doc - forgive me but I am a noob...
I have reverted to the B.2.9.1 01/01/2012 build of the rom and it is all fine, but am just wondering what is going on here?
Anyone else experience this?
Wanderer
Nothing wrong with my Zip.
Norton says its ok
There is a good way to know if Android is really infected but you first need to install it.
Check the processes running (not only the programs !) and if something called AndroidMDKProvider is running you're infected.
Thanks for your response!
I immediately downloaded the file again onto two machines both running kaspersky internet security 2012 and a third with MS Security essentials and yet again i get the response that a virus has been detected - from all 3 machines...
This is all very confusing - I no longer have access to the machine with Norton 360 as my brother has taken it so...
I have emailed kaspersky regarding this issue and await their response. It seems that there does exist a virus with that name (some more googling brought that up) but as to whether this file has it...
Koalala, thanks for your response - do I check from the cm7 settings menu, going into manage applications-> running tab?
I don't mind trying the zip on my TP just for an experiment, i don't have any personal information on it yet...
Thanks

Advanced Permission Manager without root

I am trying out this app. The good news is that it does not require root. Instead, it will create a revised apk. After installing it, Play still shows it's installed. So you might be care about update.
I used the Costoc Mobile as a test. It can remove everything except
- prevent phone from sleeping: android.permission.WAKE_LOCK
- read phone status and identity: android.permission.READ_PHONE_STATE
Removing them results in crash. I am not sure if this is application specific though.
Has anyone else tried it?
Thanks

I've tried it! It's a great tool. I'd love some more insight on it from more experienced people here however. (it's why I signed-up)

You came to the right place, welcome to XDA!
In order to get better help you can tell us about your device.
Hello, Thanks for the quick reply.
Bought J5 2016 from eBay - ex Manchester City Corp.
Gets all the desktop information/can access settings etc.
When I try to get on, say, the BBC , it shows the site - but then says "security policy prevents data sharing" is I try to open any page.
Thought perhaps "rooting" might allow me access - but whenever I try to put Odin on, it just tells me "added" I click "AP" then only "all threads completed succeed 0 - Failed 1. Any thoughts at all? Cheers, Les.

Question Attention: ALL Pixel 5a Beta-Busters: IF YOU WANT THE BETA FEEDBACK APP MISSING FROM OUR OTA UPDATE, HEAD OVER TO APK MIRROR!

YES, YOU CAN. I did this awhile back, and figured everyone else (probably, already) had done so, so I didn't bother sharing.
Sorry 'bout that comrades, but now I've repented & changed my evil ways.
If you do make the effort, don't expect to catch a glympse of that pop-up on your home screen stating "your device has beta software installed blah, blah, blah & blah", & it doesn't appear in the developers settings as a selection under "bug report handler". These missing attributes are probably due to the fact that it's not being installed as a system app as would be the case if included in the OTA update.
However, all other functions of the app seem to be working well, which keeps it's value as a good source of reference & can save you some time from duplicating beta feedback already sent in!
Anyone needing some help or direction on how to get this tool, give me a shout.
Safe Journey's to all....evnStevn
