Pink gradient at the bottom and top of the screen - Verizon Motorola Droid Turbo Q&A, Help & Troublesh

My problem is that in the center of the screen white looks white, and the top and bottom is very pinky. Especially annoying lollipop menu and when reading sites (which are usually text on a white background, which is dancing with a gradient from light pink to white).
Is this covered by warranty?
Here's a photo of my device (center). Nexus 7 left and right MotoX.
In both cases, all devices exhibited maximum brightness. Exposure changed in .RAW (Lightroom)

As can be seen, pink uneven illumination. It is therefore evident "spot" on the top and bottom. Bottom photo close-up:
I can insert a link to pictures from imgur because it is impossible to 10 posts

[Q] a question on the design looks of different variations...

I've noticed on the WHITE AT&T VIVID that there's a small rectangle/round edge window on the front near the top speaker to the left of the logo..etc

I don't have that on my black VIVID...
anyone know what that is ?? is it the ambient sensor for the display light ??
so why it's only shown on the white version ??
Thanks

Yes you do, shine a bright light at the top of the glass, all of the same 'windows' are there.
I think the capsule/rectangle one is the proximity sensor -- an emitter and a receiver to gauge proximity, and the top left dot is the ambient light sensor.

[Q] Problem With the screen

The touch works well but there are gradient horizontal lines on the screen in the colors brown, blue and black.
Sometimes i see a little bit something (still with the lines), but then it turns again in to just gradient horizontal lines.
(The screen is not broken.)
Thanks.

Here someone had a similar problem. It seem's to be a hardware failure, if your sceen looks like this:

So you should probably backup your stuff, flash a stock firmware (if you are on a custom rom) and send it to samsung.
sounds like screen burn in to me, AMOLED displays can suffer with screen burn in which will leave lines or keyboard texts etc left burnt into the screen.

Metal around the edges (are they the same blue/white)?

so i've seen multiple hands on videos of the white version but i cant seem to find any on the blue. I noticed in images that the blue version's metal frame seems to have a blueish hue to it... did anyone else notice this? Kinda makes me wanna switch to White (when i can get my hands on one of course)

Good question. It appears like the metal is a different color than the white model. Check out the second picture in the unboxing gallery
That's why I'm going to go with the white if it's ever actually available
Damn I was just looking at that, not really into white phones but that blue bezel reminds me of my S3. Hmm choices.
Unless you're going naked with the thing, why care? Case is going to cover it anyways ....

[Q] Do you see noticeable Horizontal Lines across your Z3compact screen?

When looking closely on screen , i can see those noticeable Horizontal lines across the whole screen ,which is really awful .
Especially on mono colors , or some white/grey icons in the notification bar .
Those lines r really annoying , i'm not sure if it's just a defect on my phone , there's a pic taken by Nexus4 to show those awful lines, even such a bad camera on Nexus4 can show out those horizonal lines

No lines on mine.

Dark Mode full screen in Chrome landscape leaves the notification bar white?

Ugh, that is a ridiculous topic title I apologise. So I have dark mode on. And I have set Chrome to be fullscreen as I don't want a giant black bar on the top because I am concerned about burn in. My Pixel 2XL had horrendous burn in from the black notification and navigation bars and I want to mitigate that.
When I am in dark mode and full screen chrome looks like this in portrait....

See how the bar at the top (which the camera cutout would be contained in) is the same grey as the rest of the Chrome theme?
Now when I flip to landscape it looks like this...
See that wank bright white bar on the left?! Is there any way to make that the same grey color? The camera cutout generally doesn't bother me but it is obvious many apps aren't made with it in mind.
