Hi, I need help, I have Xperia x8 (ROOT I have done) and try to load the ROM, but when I download this file Cm7.1.0 FXP030 with the kernel and run flashtool flashtool and click on the flash and connect phone instructions and passes it starts kernelchilku loader and starts it running the green bar is the construction paper and then starts the flash was successful, and then that i turn on debugging and unknown sources on the phone but nothing has changed and unknown sources and tuning my patches. But I tried that when I disconnect in the middle of flashing the phone to me also writes that the flash was completed successfully and yet could be because the phone was connected. So success to me even though I reported it myself sabotaging and when I let it run as it completes successfully, but they's no flash did not take place.
Read instructions carefully.
When FT says "flash complete" then "disconnect ... turn debugging" it means that flashing IS complete.
Disconnect, boot phone to recovery, install zip rom, full wipe and reboot.
Do backups first ;]
this helped me ....
If Unzip the downloaded zip
Go to the META-INF \ com \ Google \ android \
replaced with the updater-script updater-script found in the updater-script.zip
RE-ZIP folder (I had a META-INF, system and boot.img)
Hello xda members! First off let me say that I'm not sure whether or not this is the correct place to post (if not mods please feel free to move appropriately. I've looked through all the boot loop threads and this is a fairly new one to me. I've kind of managed to get my phone into a semi boot loop.
The phone loads up until the lockscreen (giving me maybe a half of a second to unlock the phone) but then it just randomly reboots itself and constantly does it. The kicker to it is that I can't get into recovery either. It worked up up until a while ago and I restored one of my backups from January but now I'm stuck in a semi boot loop like I said.
I can't flash in flashtool because it just gives me constantly.

I'm guessing all I really need to be able to do is to get CWM to install that way I can boot back into recovery and flash a different backup.
The things I've tried are:
pulling the battery and trying to get into flash mode, it works but then I get the same error as above.
vol down + power to get into flash mode which works but then I receive the same error up above
vol up + power to get into fastboot mode but receive a "no device found" error.
PC companion doesn't seem to see the device.
CMD doesn't seem to see the device either.
There is no flashing led light when it displays the SONY logo so I can't possibly seem to get into recovery mode. Again recovery worked but then after I restored the backup nothing. :/
If anyone could help I would greatly appreciate it! Or if there are any steps I can take to force it into recovery mode.
Thank you in advance for any assistance!
I don't know if this is important or not but I used CWM4XperiaT_v2 which contained a install.bat.
I figured if I could just get that to run really quickly it would allow me to just install it but alas to no success.
EDIT: Also I've tried loading up a ftf file and waiting until it says please connect etc etc. which gives the error as well.
Have you unlocked the bootloader?
If so try getting into fastboot mode and flashing a custom kernel for the TX with recovery.
(There will be a new on inside the download for the cm10 rom from fxp in the original android development section, just make sure you download the TX version. Or you can find a custom stock based kernel with recovery.)
Once you have flashed that then you should be able to get into recovery, restore your backup and flash a kernel relevant for you rom (Stock i presume)
The only problem is that I can't get into fastboot mode. It throws the same error and fastboot for some odd reason won't let me flash any kernels .elf or .sin files. I've never been able to figure out why that was whenever I would click the flash kernel button it wouldn't do anything.
My bootloader should be unlocked as it was when I purchased the phone. I can't get to my imei number because the phone keeps resetting itself.
EDIT: This is the error flashtool throws whenever I try to flash a kernel or sin

No, you will not have purchased the phone with an unlocked bootloader unless you bought it second hand. It voids the warrenty unlocking the bootloader so no company will sell it to you with it unlocked.
I suggest removing all android/sony software and drivers from your PC, reboot it and install again. (Alternatevely try another computer and PCComapnaion)
Also, Try reinstalling the drivers from the driver folder in the flashtool folder in your C drive.
Make sure you tick
NX
TX Flashmode
Fastboot drivers
EDIT
Which rom are you trying to boot into? Stock or not? If stock which firmware?
I'm sorry you are correct. I unlocked the bootloader when I received the phone. It was unlocked from the beginning. My mistake.
I'm not to sure what the backup is made of. Seeing as how the only ROM available for the TX are 4.0.4 it might consist of that. But
i was messing around with Xperiment for a little bit but I'm not entirely sure. I'll try and see what happens.
EDIT: No dice. Nothing I do works. :/ I went and installed flashtool on a laptop running windows 7 and it still throws the same error. Ugh Sony and me just aren't getting along lately it seems.

before resetting, I had installed the kernel NAA and everything was fine
Hey there,
I'd try a different cable or usb slot..
Remember to format /system /data and /cache before flashing this new kernel and again after flashing it.
Also verify md5 checksum of your downloaded kernel.
Good luck!

The problem is that flashtool freezes, when I reset the phone, I accidentally unlocked the bootloader one more time, this oil can be problem?
Even if I want to block it, s1Tool gives me the error I mentioned above

If you relocked the bootloader when you had a custom kernel on it that's it. You destroyed the phone.
AFAIK there is nothing you can do.

Maybe you can try to re-flash stock rom and kernel
Hello,
Problem - Device keep on rebooting showing Mi logo (every 2 sec), Does not boot into system
What I did?
exteneded system partition to 1.2 gb - success
flash Marshmellow custom rom - success
misinstalled system ui of theme - system ui stopped
reinstalled clean rom from custom recovery - success
then it does not boot into system - keep on rebooting at mi logo (every 2 sec)
tried fastboot rom - failed (remote size too large)
rebooted into recovery
flash stock partition via adb - success
fastboot flash (with flash all) - success (says miflash - operation compeleted successfully)
Still it does boot into system - keep on rebooting at mi logo (every 2 sec)
Help?
if you can access recovery now then go to recovery and take a backup of current rom. The wipe everything except internal storage and then restore the backup.
maybe it'll fix it because thats what happened to me too after flashing the MM custom rom. Every time i was rebooting the phone kept bootlooping at Mi Logo.
Hmm i ll try but i have to install twrp from adb for backup.
Cwm backup not promising.
You think there ll be problem in hardwere?
No problem in hardware.
and yes do it twrp only. never try cwm.
the thing is i am not able to enter into recovery mode at all.
No recovery and fastboot accessible.
Then connect it to PC and tell me what name the device manager shows for the device.
fastboot is accessible.
i've flashed fastboot rom from miui. successfully completed. but it won't boot.
yesterday it booted into system so i was charging the phone, as soon as i removed charger it went the same boot looping.
now,
clicking flash_all_except_storage from fastboot command
it shows one line in every process - 'target reported max size 80909989 '
process goes on and success.
but does not boot into system. same bootloop.
one strange thing is,
when i connect to pc, - just by pressing vol down button i'm entering to fastboot. (even without holding power button)
does this mean there's something wrong with power button which causing cont. reboot? i mean it cont. forcing system to on and off? :s
Nothing is wrong with the hardware. In this situation the phone boots into fastboot by pressing vol when plugged in.
You didn't answer my question. What does it show in device manager on PC.
sorry for late reply , net connection loss
device manager
1st one is android booloader interface

Did you use miflash tool to flash fastboot rom
yes,
flashed successfully says miflash.
While flashing using miflash did you select all files in advanced menu properly.
Like all the bat, mbn and xml files.
i didnt try all the file separatly.
trying now.
Then go to advance and choose all the respective files properly.
1st one - flash_all_except_storage.xml
2nd one - nvflash_all.bat (leave it as it is)
3rd one - MPRG8974.mbn
4th one - 8974_msimage.mbn
5th one - rawprogram0.xml
6th one - patch0.xml
i found
flash_all.bat
could not find nvboot script
flash programmer
boot image
could not find kernelflinger image
could not find UFS provision image
RAW xml file
patch xml file
should i go with files?
Which MiFlash tool are you using.
I used the 2014.05.09.0 version
Try this one.
And extract the fastboot ROM twice till you get the images folder inside the "cancro_images_V7.0.****" folder. There you'll fill all the files.
Then in miflash click browse and select that images folder.
And in advanced options select the respective files which are there outside the images folder.
2015.10.28 version
i ll leave the navboot as it is.
giving it a try.
appreciate your help brother.
If it doesn't work then try my version.
It has proper names of files. To avoid confusion.
And all files are there in fastboot ROM except nvboot
i checked on miui
no halos.bin
tz.bin
these all files?
p.s.
operation completed successfully but same boot loop.
trying your version now.
im on custom rom last day, and i decide the install stock rom via flashtool. my pc windows 10 and flashtool cant see my phone, so im install on my pc windows 7 also flashtool. when i flashing my phone example ''processing kernel.sin chechking header flashing data '' writing o flashtool and not move green bar . stucked. waiting and not happened. im trying different flashtool but not work. trying flashing with exclude kernel.sin fotakernel.sin system.sin yes flashing complete but later im opened flashtool again only select kernel.sin fotakernel.sin system.sin in ftf file. same thing, not happened, dont move green bar. later tryed only flash kernel via fastboot, dont work.

Seems that you have problems with drivers, Make sure you use flashtool 0.9.18.6
http://www.flashtool.net/downloads_windows_prev.php
A better solution is to use pcc to repair your phone, but will take some time downloading FW from Sony servers:
http://support.sonymobile.com/gb/tools/pc-companion/
Edit: From your flashtool log, it seems that you already use version 0.9.18.6. as I said this could be drivers problem or bad or incomplete ftf file.
There's two solutions for that:
1-
I would suggest for you to download the ftf using Xperifirm that ships with the Flashtool:
Simply hit the button that has the alphabets XF in the toolbar of Flashtool.
Select your Xperia SP model and choose the firmware that you wish to download.
Do not untick the "Unpack automatically" and let Xperifirm download the firmware. Upon completion, just close the Xperifirm and Flashtool will do the job on packaging it as an ftf.
When the whole process completes, proceed to reflash again

2-
Try PC companion instead to repair your phone, and to do that just follow these steps:
1- Uninstall flashtool, drivers, etc..
2- Download PC Companion from here then install it.
3- Turn off your phone by pressing the small yellow button on the back until it vibrats 3 times.
4- Open PC Companion on your PC.
5- Start "Support zone" and wait until download finish.
6- Next, choose "Phone Software Updates".
7- You will see a message asking you to connect your handset while powered on, just ignore these connection instructions. And press the blue link which states "Repair Phone/tablet”.
8- Follow on screen steps appear next.
9- When you asked to connect your phone (still powered off), make sure that you press and hold the key stated on screen before connecting the phone and keep it held down as you connect.
10- The repair process should now begin. :fingers-crossed:

or
TWRP with f2fs support for Xperia SP (huashan) by Tomoms
