Hi Folks!
As the title says, my phone turns off by a battery level of 15%.
If I start the twrp it says also 15%.
Does someone knows how to fix it and why it does this?
Thanks
It's a Nexus6 with twrp and cm12.1. No other modifications.

Or, you can just say the answer as you know it already.
Because it is not that simple to search for this issue.
Thanks

I'm on the Fasty 2.3 rom and I just cant seem to go more then 12 hours on battery life even on light useage. The only thing I keep on is my 3g service, which is all the time. I've also tried using battery calibrationaters (lol) and none of them seem to calibrate my captivate.. I think. What's a good app to monitor my battery and also an app to help me calibrate my battery in case I'm doing it wrong somehow?
I calibrate by charging to 100% and then rebooting my phone but my phone seems to drain at the same speed no matter what I do. I installed Fasty from stock also.
Chechk the battery what is using the battery, maybe it's the android OS

And what if it is indeed the android OS?
Remove the battery and put it back say about after 15/20 mins, This has helped some members to solve this issue. Just give it a try.

Lol, I've been reading and I guess there's a bug with the Android OS or something and it'll run high if your phone is on for a long time. The fix is just to restart.

That did it! I charged my phone up to 100% then i calibrated it. Shut off my phone, took that battery out, grabbed a plate of food and decided to watch Despicable Me, finished my meal and then put the battery back and now my phone is at 67% after 18 hours!
Great, Thats amazing 67 after 18 good going mate.
Hi all,
Just purchased an OB and enjoying it. However one thing that bugs me is there's no external notification of emails, messages etc. You actually have to unlock the OB and look in the nofication bar.
I've searched the net any have not been able to find anything. Can anyone help me out?
TIA
Greg
LG 2X/Black/3D Notifications in market
i don't recommend this type of apps, it's drain battery.
I don't know if you have seen my post showing you a 5 day battery lasting with light use... with LG 2x/black/3d notifications installed and running...
Where do you see the battery drain?

This is using NOVA rom and your tweaks. How about for stock ROMs? Does it still drains battery?
I don't know, but the app is the same... If rom has bad battery life, it's a rom related problem.
Hi,
Can anyone try the LG Black Notifications (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1125429) with the new CyanogenMod?
Thanks!
Can anyone try my last post?

He probably doesn't want to install cyanogenmod just to see if it works or not.
I can't do it, sorry.. using nova.
Hey Huexxx, can you tell how to configure my OB exactly like yours? I did flash your fix, setCpu, but i'm not shure if it is working since it is discharging really fast :/

I was in settings/storage, and tapped on apps. The phone lagged then opened the apps section. I tapped the back button and then the phone shut off and restarted. I am rooted, twrp recovery, but using the stock rom.
Has anyone else experienced this at all? Wondering if it is a widespread thing, or not.

Cool story bro
I've been getting way too many random reboots. Something as simple as turning off wifi or turning it back on will cause it. I'm not sure why it does it and I'm fully stock, unrooted. I've seen suggestions about clearing the cache and I've done that, but the problem continues. I'd say it does it on average once every couple of days.
Now that's a cool story, bro.

That stinks huh?! Unfortunately though if you wanted someone to truly help figure that out you'd want to have a Log of some sort

I've thought about wiping and starting over, but I'd rather find out that it's a known issue with a fix before I go through all of that work. It's not like I've been flashing ROMS and messing around with the radios or anything like that.

Hello,
I have a problem with my battery percentage since the MAJ 6.0.1.
My 6 nexus is rooted, so I flashed manually system.img and new radio from the Factory Image.
After restart phone, My Nexus indicates 3000/4000% battery.
In recovery I have the right battery.
Do you know how to solve the problem?
Phone discharged thoroughly but still the same problem.
Sorry, I can not put outside link to image.
It hasn't happened to anyone ever. Ever. So searching the forums for "battery percent" will not give any results, I assure you.
i guess you dont first search for your issues solution? well, the same question gets posted on xda daily, id suggest you search. anyways, its a bug. ignore it, it will probably get fixed next update.
I cannot ignore it because I never know level of my battery
My Nexus turns off without warning me : finally, discharged battery !
Thanks

I flashed the new version... but now My nexus 6 is not rooted
<Moderator Edit>: See the solution in this thread here.
Greetings, my almost brand new Mi11i has a problem with battery drain since the first day it was bought. It has latest updates and battery saving has been turned on but no change. I followed debloating tutorial and what to uninstall via ADB but it didn't help at all, not much bloatware stuff anyway. Battery drain is mostly present only while the phone is locked, for instance, overnight. If I charge it up to 100%, after 7-8 hours it will be at 60% with no use. Settings show that "other" app is consuming 60% of battery and through the day, with only 2 hours screen on time, the battery will be at around 20%. I installed Gsam battery monitor and gave it permission over ADB but it doesn't list "other" app, instead it translates it as "Android" and after that is "Android kernel". Both apps show background cpu usage of 2 hours but it doesn't show what processes. Only way to fix the overnight drain is by turning on airplane mode which resulted in drain of 3-4% per night in total but that doesn't fix the root of the issue, which I even shouldn't have on a brand new phone.
If it's Android kernel you won't have much control over it. Flash Pixel Experience ROM and never look back!

To be honest you don't have to root if you don't want. Just install Pixel Experience. It is simply the best experience I have ever had on a phone. I sold my see ultra cause this was better
Hello, finally found the reason why my battery drains so fast when the phone is in standby. Actually it never is in standby, since app .qtidataservices keeps it on non-stop during the night(7h 26m 34s was "Keep Awake" time for last night). Under wakelock details in gsmbattery monitor, .qtidataservices has "Wakelock Detail" for the previously mentioned time on "(0) IWLAN_PROXY_WL", with included processes of "CneApp", "CaCertApp", and vendor.qti.iwlan. Inculded processes are ".qtidataservices and *wakelock*. The process .qtidataservices is not listed in the apps and I cannot disable it over ADB neither, while things in "Included Packages" list are visible in the apps but force stopping them and blocking the mobile data usage did nothing. I forgot to mention, battery drain completely stops when I turn on airplane mode.

Hi @kapul4,
Thanks for sharing your solution.
In order to keep from creating multiple threads about the same subject, I moved your post from your new thread to above (Post #7), and linked to Post #7 in the OP of the thread, I took the title of your new thread and inserted it into the title of this thread, and lastly, since you found the solution I put "SOLVED" at the beginning of the thread title.
Keeping this subject to a single thread of yours will help other users who may have the same problem find your solution.
Feel free to Edit the changes I made to the thread title and first post as you see fit.

Oh, I see. Thank you
Since it is obvious that the system is faulty and no way to bring the phone to deep sleep during night, I tried to unlock bootloader and flash custom recovery but even that wasn't successful, official miflash unlock locked me for 168 hours, while using fastboot unlock command gives me "Token Verify Failed, Reboot the device". Battery is still draining for 40-50% overnight if I don't turn on airplane mode.

Is Pixel Experience that good? As in battery life? Stability? Camera?
Are there any bugs?
Will banking apps work?
