[Q] Blue LED. Xperia Z wont turn on no matter what.. - Xperia Z Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

My Xperia Z will not turn on. I have left it plugged in for over an hour. When I plug it in a blue LED comes on (never seen this before on my Xperia Z). When I hold down and the power button and plug it in, it flashes green for a brief second and the LED turns off. Otherwise the blue LED stays on.
I tried to flash it using flashtool but I can't even boot into flashmode or fastboot or anything.
Anyone have any suggestions?

[Q] Brand new sony xperia z won't turn on

Just got my new sony experia z, charged it for an hour, put my SIM in and tried to turn it on. It constantly flashes on and off the Sony screen while its charging. When I turn it on it flashes the sony screen and turns off again. I've tried pressing the on button and the up button at the same time and it vibrates but nothing changes. The little red light comes on when it's charging. Have I simply not charged it enough or is it faulty?
Any help would be good

any help please!!
See if you sim is correctly inserted, take it off and put it again
Sounds like you need to charge it for longer before trying to turn it on, wait until the light goes green and then turn it on by holding the power button in (for about 3 seconds) until it vibrates...
Edit: Are you using the official charger? I remember using a mains charger (not usb) and the light stayed red, the light changes to green when charged which usually takes about half an hour.

Xperia Z dead? D':

I was using my phone normally on PAC Rom and then my phone told me my sdcard was unmounted, so I rebooted, then it did not turn back on.
when I left it to be on its on, the phone gets warm, then eventually no power, so pressing the power button returns with the 3 red led blinks, plugging the phone into the charger returns with a bright(intensity) red light, after some time the red light reduces in intensity, pulling out the charger leaves the red/amber light on. The intensity difference is visible at night.
Please help, at least let me have someway to reload stock ROM and lock boot loader before sending back to sony D':
Have you tried to hold power button and volume up button together till it reboots 3times and flash a ftf?
C6603 ?
there is no display feedback at all, holding vol down and plugging it into my com does not light up the blue led, so I have no idea if it is in flashmod
Bump~
Holding Vol Up is Fastboot(Blue LED)
Holding Vol Down is Flash Mode(No LED
FIRST LET THE DEVICE CHARGE FOR AT LEAST 2HOURS!
Try to get into Fastboot and reflash the default Pac boot.img, if not working, Try flashing a Stock ftf in flash mode.
If still not working, report us with logs from Flashtool
Sent from my Dualbooted XZ
I flashed the ftf and relocked bootloader, it boots up to the sony logo, screen goes black and then returns with 3 red led blinks D:
Charge, charge, charge
Sent from my C6603 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
check the checksum and keep charging!
Good luck!
it will work don't give up!

Did you left your phone whilst reinstalling any ROM or flashing anything?
I can suspect that you;ve bricked your device.
You can try to stick POWER BUTTON + VOL. rocker and leave it for entire night. I have read that some had fixed this issue by the way which I'm writing now, but I'm not sure if it will work to you.
You can even leave your phone connected to charger for some while.
If it will not work either - I have seen some where in this forum thread in which were specified how to unbrick XZ with disassemblying it

[Q] Xperia T wont turn on,wont charging. pls help

Xperia Z bricked issue

Hello, my xperia z bricked suddenly while I was gonna flash a stock rom with flashtool (I used flashtool many times before). I just turned off my phone and then prepared flashtool to flash stock rom (kitkat). When flashtool said to connect the phone in flashmode, I just press the volume down button (while turned off) and connect the phone with pc. But nothing happens then. Phone doesn't response. Pc/flashtool couldn't detect my phone and also my phone doesn't response. No led light, no vibrations (holding volume up+power button for 5/10 seconds), no led indicator while charging. Nothing. Just died suddenly :crying:
Then I dissembled my phone and disconnected the battery connector from motherboard. Then I connected it again and plugged my phone to wall charger and charge my phone (no led light appeared that time while charging, phone just heated up) around 20+ hours. After that I got a red led light whenever I plug my phone into pc or wall charger. But the red led turns off after around 30 seconds. From then, whenever I connect the phone to wall charger or pc, red led appears and after around 30/60 seconds, it disappears again. I don't understand what does that mean So,
1. is it hard bricked or soft bricked?
2. is there really any chance to fix that problem by myself? I unlocked bootloader so there is no chance that sony will fix that 'brick' phone.
Any help will be highly appreciated.
Thanks guys.
You can try s1tool to flash your Bootloader.... Search the forum, u can follow the tutorial.... There might be a hope

just try to have the usb cable conected to your pc and hold the power button and volume up till it makes a vibration ,and then hold volume down even if it does not vibrate it should still conect to flashtools .
