Any clue what's causing this issue? I've run all the phone updates and disabled/uninstalled any suspected conflicting apps with no luck.
How did you get to this menu?

Just as a follow up to this, it was fixed by Sprint support by performing a re-provisioning.
Thank you!!! I have been trying to solve this CDMA Roaming issue as well. I was on vacation for a week with no roaming while my child's iPhone mocked me!!!
i just went through this, if you have sprint.. dial ##72786# your phone will restart a few times and the problem will be fixed

Every once in a while I would notice, when I unlocked my phone, it would say "Emergency Calls Only" as if I didn't have a SIM card in.
Everything would still work after that such as text messages and calls, so I just figured it was a weird issue with Cyanogen 6 RC1.
Starting today, I was getting that message every single time, and also a notification that I couldn't register on T-Mobile's network.
I got on T-Mobile's live chat help, and they said there's nothing wrong with the service in my area. The person also had me tell him the SIM card number to ensure they had the right one in their system, which they did.
After this, I figured it might still be because I'm running CM RC1 so I upgraded to RC3 and I"m still having the same issue.
T-Mobile's "my account" program is no longer set up, so I don't get the notification, but I still get the emergency calls message on the lock screen.
Also, I AM connected to the T-Mobile network, but it just won't recognize my phone.
I was wondering if anyone else had any insight...
Which radio are you using? Has it done this since upgrading from stock rom?
Yes I just had this similar issue yesterday and I'm on at&t. Also, everything on my N1 is stock.

I had the froyo radio but then I flashed the new Korean radio and it didn't help.
I did, however, pull out the old trusty G1 to have a working phone again. But when I started it up, it reported not having a sim card. Im going to go to tombile tomorrow to get them to test it. I'll report back in case someone else has the same issue.

You might try cleaning the SIM card contacts, they might be the culprit.
I went to T-Mobile and he confirmed it was the sim card. Actually he said it was fairly common for them to go bad. No charge and I'm working 100% now. Thanks!

I have not in my life seen a dead SIM card, it was a month ago that somebody was asking around the forums what and why. I was shocked
And T-Mobile says it's common.. lol wut?
Maybe the Nexus One eats them lol

Since I got the HTC Raider, I cannot connect to facebook or twitter via HSPA or LTE. It works very well on Wi-FI.
I tried a factory reset as suggested by HTC but it did not fix it.
Any one else seeing this
Im really glad I'm not the only one. Unless Im on WiFi I basically can't use Facebook. Sometimes it will load but no pictures. Doesn't matter what browser I'm using.

Can anyone please post their APN settings, mine have not been touched, completely stock phone.
I talked to Bell and HTC reps, HTC made me do a factory reset and bell says it is HTC problem.
Further talking to HTC it could 2 issues
a) DNS - Issue
b) I am not sure what bell.moni is , but when incresed the securtity settings on facebook. Every time I tried to logic from HTC it said there was a app called bell.mobi requesting accessing to my account. So I need to follow up with Bell
For Bell people I would request to call and complaint at bell technical support
Do you also use https: I tried disabling that from my face security settings it is a bit better I can see partially loaded facebook page but that's it.
The app still behaves same way. I escalated the case to 2nd level of tech support but I am finding it really hard to convince them that such a problem exists
Bell agreed that it is a problem on there side, and they were able to replicate this and I hope they fix t soon.
Bell tech support from network team confirmed and fix the issue with facebook and twitter blockage.
Works now test it too

Facebook and a couple others aren't working for me in Maryland on ATT either, two vivids and 2 LTE sim cards later, no solutions, all the phones on display at my local store are doing the same thing.
Yes, it was same with Bell I went to a store to complain and they pulled 2 phones and both could not connect to any social network.
From what I was told by Bell tech support that it was a firewall issue and I have no clue what it is. My 1st few calls were related to dns and ip4/6 etcc...but could not get much details of why it was not working
The fix was on Bell network side
She's using a Samsung Galaxy SIII, I'm using the HTC One.
We're on the same mobile network. Both of us don't have a problem with calls to/from other people; Problem happens when we call each other.
Problem: She can hear me well, but I can't hear her most of the time.
Thanks in advance for your help!
I already called up our network provider regarding this, and they've never encountered an issue like this before.
They just advised for me to try using a different phone... Couldn't believe that.

I had this very same problem, it appeared that I had blocked my girlfriend. Even though I hadn't, I could call other people they could call me and so on, nothing wrong with my girls handset either.
When I tried to call from a different handset, the problem persisted hinting at a network issue.
Got issued a new sim and it started working again.
SPK with the network again and see if you can get one sent out.
Could be that its something else too, so problem solve before you get a new sim.

Still unresolved, but thanks for your suggestion.
I was already issued a new LTE sim, but the problem still persists.

Then try the sim in a new / different phone
Go back to stock and see if the problem persists.
If all else fails, return your phone.

I asked her to switch phones, and our call works perfectly fine.
Could be a problem in her microphone placement
Thanks for your help guys
I am hoping that someone can help me. A few months ago my phone randomly starting restarting so I talked to Motorola and they said for me to just send back the device and they would give me a new one. The new one did the same exact thing so they sent me another one. This one is doing the same thing as well.
I am assuming it is an application that is causing the "restarts". Sometimes the screen goes black for a few moments, all of the applications close, and then it comes back on without a restart. When the screen starts working again the SIM card takes a few moments to start working again but other than that no issues.
When it actually restarts completely, the system crashes completely and automatically restarts. When it does this it always will say "Android is upgrading..." and it takes about a full hour to use my phone again.
I am on a Moto X 2014 with Android 5.1. I just use my phone for work and its pretty much unusable. My hope is that it is an app that is causing it to crash but I have no idea how figure out which app would be causing that type of issue.
It is most likely a rogue app. You can try installing all your apps. Then install one at a time and wait. If it happens after you install a certain app, then that is the one.

Were you able to figure out which app was causing your problem? I've been struggling through the same issues you've described, but haven't been able to track down the app responsible yet.
I don't know will this help or something....
When I bought my first android phone Desire HD, my network was Vodafone.....
I used to get constant reboots till I changed to AIRTEL network......
I had no idea why a network was causing reboots but still changing to AIRTEL fixed the issue....
I know there's no relation bw network and reboots..... But still rare things can happen right???

Actually networks can cause those issues. My wife had a samsung phone a few years ago that I had to disable 3g on the carrier entel or it would reboot. She had to use 2g until she changed carriers.

I am totaly lost as to how to proceed;
I was on Moto X 2013 stock Android 4.4 for over 10 months on a rooted (not a recent root) phone when one day, I suddenly started to get a message saying "Mobile Network not available" on attempt to make a call.
Data is working fine!
The same sim works on another phone. No other sim works on my Moto X 2013... same issue (the phone was sim unlocked)
I have tried literally everything I can think of:
1. Reinstalled stock 4.4.
2. Upgraded to 5.1 OTA
3. Set network type to WCDMA only & GSM only (as well as working through the entire list of network types)
4. Selecting my network operator + setting the network operator selection to "choose automatically"
What is going on?
Why should the problem suddenly start?
And Do I Need a New Phone??
Interesting. Check and make sure that the IMEI isn't blacklisted.
When you say that data isn't working I can't help but think that you're talking about Wi-Fi because it doesn't use a cellular network just to verify what data is working?

By data, I do mean mobile data. Not WiFi. Which makes it more odd.
Also, imei is Not blacklisted.
I have the same issue and tried the same troubleshooting as you. I activated a different phone for now. Another user on the xda forum solved his issue:
Solved mine by going into the settings menu, about phone i think, and updating PRL, profile, manually activating.

I had a stock xt1056 running 4.4.4. I receive 'no service' and all the Sprint reps tell me the moto x uses Wimax 4g which has been rolled over to 4g LTE. Still not sure why I can't receive 3g or lower service in my area .

I am in the UK so I am not aware of the issue you highlighted on Sprint (as we do not have it here) ... my issue seems nothing to do with network - I have tried multiple sims from various network and still no luck.
Also, I do not see any setting to update PRL...
I was wondering if you made any progress with the "No mobile network available". I tried a multitude of options with no success regarding the mobile error on my phone.
I think an OTA update at the beginning of November bugged my antennae firmware....best guess I can come up with. I only made OTA updates (no OS altercations) prior to the bugged antennae update. Looks like I have to get a new phone.
Edit: I forgot to mention that the repair technician that I spoke to in early November that told me that my phone cannot connect to 4G LTE admitted he was wrong today.

I am not sure if you have gotten any further with this issue - I doubt it tbh.
I have actually tried a number of things and been through 100s of forums - I have learnt that this issue is not uncommon, and there is no solution at all that exists. I have given up and settled on a new phone. I use my Moto X for testing apps/wifi/music. Such wastage, but I have got to the point where investing effort of finding a solution was more costly than getting a new phone. I do not say this lightly and it is said with a lot of frustration.
If anyone if future sees this thread and has solution, I would be more than interested in hearing it - I wouldnt mind reviving this phone.
Thanks
