would not harm 550 i guess, as long as it was used on zen ui, the script will only remove detected applications..if it does not found the apps name, i think it would ignore it..

I have an error when tried to flash in recovery essential and normal (no tried others):
Footer is wrong
signature verification failed
How to remove that without usinf modifie d recovery ?

This thing is awesome, frees up the system of apps I didn't even know I had and also got rid of the zen pc suite automount drive.

The only tool that I have posted is just to remove the data if they updated before moving over to the ROM.
Now people can keep a "stock" ROM and still get the benefit of all the junk removed for them.

unfortunately after removing system apps you can't apply ota, because ota updater script check apps then update some of them or copy new apps or files

Bloatware wasn’t invented with the Android phone, but Android phone manufacturers and cell phone carriers have really taken advantage of it. Bloatware is all of the extra software applications that come pre-installed on your Android–it can include any kind of application. Many Android phones come packed with useless software preinstalled by the device’s manufacturer and your cellular carrier. For example, Sprint even includes a NASCAR app with some of their phones. Most notable bloatware examples are games. The Sony Xperia Play came pre-installed with several games that could not be removed. The idea is that these pre-loaded apps and games add value to the device and attract you to make a purchase.Let’s take an example to illustrate just how problematic bloatware can be. The Sony Ericsson Xperia Play is a fantastic gaming phone which comes with several games already installed, including FIFA, Star Battalion and The Sims 3. This was a major selling point at launch, and rightly so - being able to play awesome games straight out of the box is great. Games are just one example, though. Some apps are pre-installed by networks or phone makers. However, games have a limited lifespan before they become surplus to requirements, and although you can remove the game data partitioned on your SD card, you can’t physically remove the install files from the Xperia Play’s internal app storage area.That means those games are stuck on the device forever. They clog up your app drawer and occupy valuable app storage space which could be better used for other programs. Unlike games - which cease to operate as soon as you close them down - system apps will constantly eat up valuable RAM resource, even if you don’t use them. This can cause your phone to perform poorly, leading to lag and force-close problems.
Assume you have flashed a new rom. You now have to go through the pain of removing dozens of apps from system/app which you might not need. eg: some people hardly use google maps/swype/youtube/email/weather.apk or those several samsung apps/widgets found in stock rom. More reasons -
* Useless apps could Clutters your list of installed apps
* May even run automatically at startup
* Drain battery power in the background
* Disabled Bloatware Still Wastes Storage Space & comes back after reset.
* It slows down phone performance
* It could use ram, eat it.
* It takes up memory space that can be used for things you actually want
* It can potentially telegraph information to the app developer or phone company
What is this I'm talking about Tool?
It's a zip file written scripts in it which removse bloatware apps from ROM via Recovery. The system partition contains important apps required for android. if you remove an app which is essential for android then your device might get stuck in bootloop. So know what you're doing before trying this.

of course! Just add the system/app/example.apk name that you want to delete or Remove system/app/example.apk line that you don't want to delete.

No, I don't have all the apps name. So, this doesn't include 4.2.2 rom apps. May be someone could Provide a List of all SYSTEM apps name Exactly as it is. That will be very useful.

Fast dormancy apps?!

The power saver it seems
TV out functionality
The setup wizard (which can crash your phone if you do a factory reset)
(all) Smallapps
Most of the Google apps
Some wallpapers and widgets
Video app
Most of them are unnecessary to delete.

I think this is a good start but we gotto check these and apply to newest firmware first.
We might come with a more reasonable and correct version.

there are some custom apps of provider : "turkcell" you can omit those. apart from that it is actually pretty clean rom.
the list is extracted from TR FTF file.

changelog to v3 original RomBooster:
- removed deletion of system wallpapers

And thought I'd share it with you and anyone else. I'd say it's pretty aggressive as I wanted to remove all the bloat ware and everything else I don't personally use. I tested this on an existing image and then did a Factory Reset to make sure everything was working correctly. (You're more than welcome to create a new zip with this script if it's useful.)
What I did was start with your most aggressive script and compare the files to the \system\apps in the JB 4.3 image. If the files didn't exist anymore in the new image, I removed them from the script. If I found a new file in the image, I googled to determine if it was safe to remove. (I didn't delete some files as I wasn't sure. If anyone finds a file I could remove, I'd appreciate hearing about it.) I'm sure some people will want things I removed, but that's the great thing about your script, they can easily change it.

And thought I'd share it with you and anyone else. I'd say it's pretty aggressive as I wanted to remove all the bloat ware and everything else I don't personally use. If the files didn't exist anymore in the new image, I removed them from the script. If I found a new file in the image, I googled to determine if it was safe to remove. I'm sure some people will want things I removed, but that's the great thing about your script, they can easily change it.

Turns out Google Play wasn't working correctly, so I removed Phonesky.apk from the delete list. Phonesky is supposed to be an old version of Google Play and "safe to remove", but not from my experience.

i think an aroma installer would be nice! you can choose witch apps you want do deinstall...what do you think?

Sounds great! I was thinking the same thing, but I've never created an Aroma installer. I'd be happy to help you break out the apps into categories for the install options.

yes after using your list, the play store wasn't working anymore so i had to flash again the 4.3 rom

Script does not work flashing with latest twrp, installation failed is the error I get

Fixed the zip, it flashes and puts the file in the right location. It b appears not to do much for the cm rom I am using. Nonetheless I am uploading the zip.

Will this work with CM13 too?

Speed up/Improve Battery on S5 Mini with StockRom by Freezing/ Removing Apps/Services

Hello everyone,
after searching and trying different custom roms ive returned back to the stock. the bugs they got and the missing stability bring me back there.
Im running the g800f with G800FXXU1BPC4_G800FDBT1BPC4_G800FXXU1BPC3_HOME and [KERNEL][G800F][exynos][G800FXXU1][TW Only][LP Only]Custom Kernel Last Updated 2016-05-11.
All works fine, but i want to improve the speed and the battery by freezing/disabling some preinstalled stock apps and services. After disabling some of them with titanium backup i allways getting a bootloop on next bootup. It would be great, if someone could tell me which apps i can safely disable without destorying the system (causing bootloop) and which not. Ive just found a list by someone for a S5, but im not sure if i can handle it on a s5 mini.
Since last few days, after I upgraded and Finally Rooted my G900H. I installed an app called "Uninstall" (Free App). This app can help you remove and restore apps if in-case you needed them back again. And Using this app I Disabled tons of UNWANTED apps and services. At-Least for me, they are unwanted. But it all depends on what apps you use or need. Anyway's I have disabled apps listed below and The Phone runs super fast now. NO lags at all
I also installed SD Maid Pro (Paid App). It increases system performance tremendously.
Here's my list of disabled apps. I have disabled these safely and it has not caused any problem.

Debloat Module For S6 Edge Plus
This is a simple Debloat Module for the S6 Edge Plus
It's best used after a clean install before the system apps get updated to play store versions
If they have already being updated go to applications manager in settings and uninstall the updates, then reboot.

That's correct, Once it's installed you can use a root file explorer and navigate to root/magisk/napster113_debloat/system and then either app or priv_app and delete the folder off the app you want to keep, hope this helps.

I could not find it in Magisk v13 manager.

This module is ancient... If @napster113 doesn't come back to you with a link for an updated module, I'd suggest you try out the Terminal Debloater module by @veez21.

Universal Terminal Debloater has been tried. It is manually to uninstall one app by one app.
It showed that there were about three hundred system apps in a Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus device.

I know... It's a working solution though.
You could also make a debloater module of your own, it's not that hard.
Download the module template.
Read the instructions in readme.md and config.sh.
Edit module.prop and config.sh to match.
In config.sh:
Set AUTOMOUNT to false.
Under the second empty REPLACE part, add the paths to all the apps you wan't to debloat (see the first REPLACE for examples).
Make a zip.
Flash in the Manager or TWRP. Edit: since you're using a Samsung, flash in recovery. There's a bug in v13.3 that usually affects Samsung while flashing in Manager.
