I have a strange problem with my Moto X XT1096. At full volume, the phone rings as if I have turned on the 'Increasing ring' option although I haven't turned on any such feature. Because of this, the phone starts ringing at low volume which eventually gets loud after 2 seconds.
Is this normal? By the way I am using official 5.1 update.
Unfortunately, this is a problem we are all experiencing.

It started with the 5.0 update.
Some have reported that Motorola are calling it a "safety feature" that they have included on purpose.
The workaround is using ringtones and notification sounds longer than two seconds...

Yeah I have changed the notification to a longer tone. Thanks for the information.

I thought before that when I used the speakerphone on my One that it would come from both the bottom and top speakers, but right now it's only coming from the bottom one. Am I crazy, or was it not coming from both before?
Yea man both of mine work when on speakerphone but I am running the 4.2 beta so idk if it's different .....does music play from both?
Sent from my HTCONE using Tapatalk 4
Bone stock and both of mine are playing while on a call and speaker phone enabled.
Sent from my HTCONE using Tapatalk 4
I'm bone stock 4.1.2 and it's just not working. I restarted my phone and everything. Music is working from both, just not speakerphone.
Have u tried with beats off?
(rhetorical question, but...)

Not VERY bad static, but I do occasionally get some at the beginning of a call. It goes away after 5-10 seconds usually.

Mines don't go away at all. What should I do about it? I can still hear the people I call but it's very annoying and the static is bad
Sent from my XT1056 using Tapatalk 4
I have slight static in the background of a call. I thought it was the earpiece, but speakerphone issues the same fault. I think it's just Verizon. The speakers on this phone are so accurate and awesome--I probably just never heard it on my GNexus before--even though it's there.

you're well within your 14 days. i'd say exchange it. if you're not sure, take it to a vzw store (not re-seller) for a second opinion.

agreed. if you aren't on the camera fix OTA that could be the issue as well. They fixed cal clarity in that update.
Title says it. It always worked no sweat on 4.2. Now whenever I have the headphone jack plugged in it doesn't register any voice commands or input at all. Kind of annoying if you use your phone while driving to listen to music. So my question is has anyone else noticed or can test theirs for me? Am I missing a toggle in the menus somewhere? It's really frustrating me.

Saw this yesterday...Very frustrating as you said...This used to work in 4.2 right?
Yeah it definitely worked in the previous version.

Go in moto forums and tell them. That will be the fastest way to get fixed
Wow good to know that!! I always use it on my car with aux cable! If you talk to Motorola, please give us an update!

Just a little update today....it started working again. Sort of. I basically have to yell at my phone to get it to recognize ok Google now. So it does work, but not at all like it did.

Strange, mines works as normal. Had a text conversation today with my buddy while dodging shi**y traffic and Lady Gaga blaring (don't ask) and it didn't miss a word.

I can't open that link (despite being registered with Moto too). Were you ever able to get it to work normally again?
I have the same problem on my new Moto X and haven't found a solution anywhere.
I'm having issues with the bluetooth intermittently disconnecting and reconnecting. Anyone experience something similar and how did you resolve it?
Running 4.2.2 or 4.4?

Interesting. A few others on the Pebble forum are having the same problem and were thinking there might be a problem with Glance since it was the one common denominator.
So you never get disconnected? It's not frequent but it's at least a few times a day for me.
Not once been using glance to read and check a lot from my phone

hmm...maybe I got a dud then.
Was it the first app you installed? I'm assuming you've tried a factory reset and it could disconnect on me I've only had it a few days now but nothing has gone wrong

Yea, I already did a factory reset and Glance was the first app I installed. The other apps I have installed are Notification Center, Pebble Dialer and Music Boss. I uninstalled and re-installed each one and thought I had it narrowed down to Glance causing the problem but maybe not.

Has anyone received a moto care replacement phone recently? Curious if it came with 4.4 (unlikely), 5.0, or 5.1. Asking because I'd like to continue to use MOFO.

Yeah. I know it's not good for you guys that have to use mofo. I have a Pure Edition and I wanted 5.1 anyway so no big deal to me. Maybe you will get lucky and it won't be.

I've gotten 2 of them and they have both been on 4.4 and immediately ask you to update on first boot.

The update is not automatic. You have 2 choices, ignore the update message or disable MotorolaOTA if you have root.
