Unlocked,Rooted, Flashed TWRP and now moto G XT1068 boots like snail - G 2014 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have rooted my phone using the all in one guide for moto G2014. The only problem that I have is that booting time has increased by increase it means a lot. ROM is stock just unlocked and rooted and twrp flash. Any solution to solve this ? Because I doubt flashing another ROM won't be of much help .
Problem solved by flashing a new rom . I flashed AOSP 5.1.1

[Q] Moto X XT1052 Root And CM11

Hello Devs and Wish you all a good day.I recently bought a moto x ( EUROPEAN , XT1052 ) which I wish to root and xpose ( or even flash cm11 ). AFAIK , the moto x can be only rooted after unlocking the bootloader and then flashing supersu via a suitable recovery. I know and have understood the process of rooting which follows :
Unlocking the bootloader via motorola site and Android SDK using the unlock key.
Flashing a custom recovery via fastboot ( TWRP or CWM ) and then flashing supersu.zip to root .
What bothers me is that the model which I am using has been recently introduced and I have little to no knowledge about the same . Therefore , I just wanted to make sure whether the process of rooting is correct ( which i posted ). Also , since all i can see in the threads is " Unified " will the official CM11 builds work for my device ? Can anyone please Point out or mention the correct CM11 official M6 build for my device ? It would be greatly appreciated if anyone replied or helped me . Thanks a lot for the time and Please Help .
Cheers !
The root process is same as you mentioned.
Unified means for all variants, so you can flash it without problems.
AND CM11 M6 has not been released as the speaker phone issue has still not been ironed out

[Q] Regarding SoftBrick of Moto X XT1052

Sorry If this is a newbie question.
SO here is my Story.
I Was trying to flash the Epsilon Project ROM for my Moto X 1052. So I first created a Nandroid Backup of My Kitkat 4.4.4 Stock ROM.
But When I was wiping my data Cache and dalvik i accidentally cleared all my internal storage. The Stock ROM was completely wiped and my cell was stuck at Bootloader Unlocked warning message.
Suddenly i got an idea and I flashed The Epsilon ROM using OTG Cable. The device booted succesfully. But if I want to go to the stock rom back then should i restore my Nandroid or I should follow the RSDLite method.
Does flashing the custom ROM using the OTG have any effect on the Bootloader because I heard that Downgrading the bootloader from 4.4.4 to 4.4.2 bricks the phone. Is my bootloader is still on 4.4.4?
Thanks
Nandroid or use fastboot. Why would flashing a rom using an OTG cable be any different from having your phone connected to a computer? The only way your bootloader would be on 4.4.2 is if you flashed a 4.4.2 rom, but that wouldn't be successful.
Why doesn't anybody use fastboot anymore?
I used to have a Samsung device. Everything was flashed using Odin and it had extSdCard slot also.
So dealing with so many commands freak me out. That's why I dont use fastboot. (don't know about others)
Thnks for your reply

Click to collapse
Actually, even if you bricked downgrading to 4.4.2, the bootloader wouldn't be downgraded.
I've not seen anyone able to downgrade their bootloader, bricking or not. If it is possible, that gives some hope to all those 4.4.4 VZW users with locked bootloaders, who can't use sunshine currently...

TWRP backup of Motorola Quark

Hi, can anyone upload to any cloudstorage the STOCK original TWRP backup of xt1254 ?
I have many problems with my phone such as random rebooting ,problems with unlocking lockscreen, dialer truoblshots and others. I have flashed Official rom via fastboot, unlocked bootloader and installed many other roms ,also tried 4.4.4 and 5.1 but problems not solved. I think my be TWRP backup off clean official rom will solve my problem. THANKS

To Install a Custom Rom Safely, Plzz Help ... :D

Hi,
I own a Motorola Moto g2 (2014) Indian Version, 16 gb and i am running a stock firmware 5.0.2, rooted and bootloader unlocked. and i want to install a Custom ROM, So i went on to Youtube and find out how to unlock the bootloader and install Super SU.
After that i came to know about this site, and thought of flashing CM 13, and so in order to do that it was required to update bootloader, since it won't work on bootloader 4.4
So, i followed the instructions clearly and updated the bootloader and the TWRP Recovery , Both are successfull.
Now comes the problem part for me:
So when i browsed the xda developers site in the moto g 2014 thread , i came across this post:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g-2014/general/6-0official-indian-ota-zip-captured-t3299550
It said
So to everyone here. After updating to 6.0 I don't think it's a good idea to downgrade to 5.0.2 and update it with stagefright update over the air.
I made it and it hardbricked my phone.
5.0.2 bootloader version is 48.83
6.0 bootloader version is 48.86
So, don't downgrade your bootloader, it can cause hardbrick!
so, i got afraid, since i am going to install cm 13 nightly which is unstable and the bootloader already updated, will i be having problems when i restore it back to stock 5.0.2
and would it be safe if i installed cm 12.1 after updating the booloader or will it hard brick my phone. (since cm 12.1 is stable version compared to cm 13)
P.S Can someone post a link on how to backup before installing the Custom ROM, since i always see this step:
that is to make a backup using TWRP and then use advanced wipe to wipe the device, the only question is won't the adavanced wipe deletes the backup folder ?
And Is there any stable ROMS for moto g that runs marshmallow, + is it possible to install multi ROM twrp and Install CM 13 Along with the Stock Android
