So I see ya gotta go to NE9 then to NF1, but once in Tizen no going back, I think.

Flash NE9 then NF1, it is still possible to downgrade back to android.

I was able to root mines on the same firmware. But I couldn't get the null rom to stick or show up on my watch. I went and factory reset everything. Now I can't get cydia impacter to root it I get error . Don't know what I did wrong now.

rooting is fine on the new nc1 firmware, just make sure you follow the correct steps in the guide on this forum.
if you want to flash null rom, you will need to downgrade, flash mk7 firmware, root that, then install null rom, the guide is also on this forum. The reason is null rom is based off the previous version to nc1.
if you want to go back to stock, you have to use odin to flash the stock firmware, that is the only way.
downgrade gets stuck

Stuck at Firmware update

Hey guys. Was playing around and I think I flashed wrong image to my FLEX (USA-SPRINT-KK).
Now, it shows LG, then flashes green light over and over. I have got it into FIRMWARE UPDATE SCREEN. Do I use ADB, or what to reflash back to stock JB or KK? Thanks
Now you just follow the guide to return to stock

OK...Got all the stuff, but I must have flashed wrong firmware to phone at first. Model says D950 (ATT) when it should be D995 (Sprint). So when I attempt to flash, it tells me wrong model.

at&t note 3 rooted with towelroot want to go back to 4.4.2 completely stock

i want to update to the new update, it errors out at 27%, i think its because i rooted with towelroot, i unrooted it with su. When it reboots it still shows the open padlock and it says custom under the lock. Im familiar with odin and flashing stock roms, but the thing im confused on is can i flash a stock bootloader and 4.4.2. And if i can where can i find the image? I found a site called sammobile or somthing like that. I was directed there from samsungs website. Thanks for the help

Are you sure you want to take that dive? There is no turning back once you take the true OTA. No more root and no more custom ROMS...for a long while

Has anyone confirmed downgrade from MM?

As the thread states....has anyone tried to flash stock DOK2 firmware from the new MM update? I have searched and asked many questions but have not gotten a solid answer. And if no one knows or no one has tried yet, would someone who had already taken the update be willing to try flashing stock DOK2 firmware? For developmental purposes. Thanks in advance. ?

Root works perfectly fine. Use SuperSu Systemless root. I believe the version number is 2.74-2. It's the latest beta if I'm not mistaken.
First use ODIN to get TWRP onto the device and then flash the supersu zip like usual.
I was thinking of just using flashfire to flash BL and modem only then install the rom..that way it doesnt overwrite recovery... bad idea ?

Yes, bad idea. No shortcuts on base updates.

I was able to downgrade to DOK2 but I only flashed the bootloader & modem file not the entire firmware
If you flashed BL then we are good. I wonder if the MM bootloader is like n910G.....they couldn't go from 5.1.1 to 4.4.4 but when they got 6.0.1 they were able to got back 2 steps to 4.4.4.like a magical BL unlock ha

What files did you use? I tried flashing the entire dok2 firmware through Odin and kept getting stuck in a bootloop. If I could just flash those 2 files that would be great.

I used odin 3.11.1: http://dl.sammobile.com/Odin3-v3.11.1.zip
put the bootloader in the BL section & the modem in the CP section of odin

I have downgraded from a full PE3 to OK2. Worked fine.
Awesome...that makes me feel safer...I might try to odin nk4 later just for ships and giggles haha
does anyone know if you can downgrade from MM PE3 to KK ANK4? I know that you can't go from DOK2 to ANK4. Love firekat too much

I had a T-mobile Note 4 (N910T) on 5.0.1 , downgraded to KitKat 4.4.4, when Lolipop 5.1.1 came out I upgraded. rooted, and then flashed custom rom Tekxodus .. phone used to restart randomly .. later discovered that once you upgrade OK2 you get locked and no longer can downgrade to KK.
later on, the phone started to give mmc error and then just died.
Lesson Learned, stay on 5.0.1 or downgrade to 4.4.4 and stay there.
I still wonder if Android 6.0.1 Locks down the downgrade process to 4.4.4. I doubt it will allow it.

Ok. You just downgrade, but I have a question.
After you flashed BL and CS, you still have to flash the firmware, right? So, I have to have the firmware OK2 too, right?

Yea if you want everything to be OK2 but its not necessary....if you are gonna use twrp, u dont need to odin recovery....and if you are gonna use a custom rom instead of stock then you dont need to odin system...so basically anyone with twrp and a custom OS is only using BL and Modem
But i always just flash it all just to be thorough....
