Hey guys. Was playing around and I think I flashed wrong image to my FLEX (USA-SPRINT-KK).
Now, it shows LG, then flashes green light over and over. I have got it into FIRMWARE UPDATE SCREEN. Do I use ADB, or what to reflash back to stock JB or KK? Thanks
Now you just follow the guide to return to stock

OK...Got all the stuff, but I must have flashed wrong firmware to phone at first. Model says D950 (ATT) when it should be D995 (Sprint). So when I attempt to flash, it tells me wrong model.

I updated my firmware on my Sprint HTC One using this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2368907 for the 1.31.651.2 update. I have s-off using revone and I flashed the s-off firmware zip using fastboot.
When I flashed the zip, I got a couple "failed" messages which I clipped in the attached pic. After rebooting the phone, everything seems to work okay except the phone now freezes sometimes and says "PROCESSING". Pressing the home button will unfreeze the phone but this is obviously annoying. When I check the software version on the phone it still shows version 1.29.651.7 and I am still getting the OTA update alerts. I have flashed the firmware zip twice with the same results.
Anyone have any advice?
Are you using a custom rom or did you flash the stock rooted rom from the thread?

I'm still running the stock ROM I bought the phone with. Do I need to flash the new ROM to run with the new firmware? I'll try it and see what happens...
What is your baseband?
Update: I installed the Rooted ROM from the thread. No problems so far...seems to have done the trick.

FYI I have the latest firmware but my build/software version still says 1.29.651.10 this won't change until I flash a 1.31.651.2 rom

Excellent you shouldn't have any problems, but feel free to try other roms. Nothing wrong with experimentation..

Ok I'm still new to rooting so sorry if this is in the wrong place or sounds stupid. I got my lg flex about a month ago. i rooted it at 4.2. I didn't know that when 4.4.2 came out it would take my root away. well now when i try to use ioroot24 it cant find my phone after i toggle the usb mode. Any one got any ideas?
You cant root KK yet. If you REALLY want root, follow the tutorial at the G Flex General forum for going back to stock. You have to use the lg flash tools to flash stock .tot and then you can re-root. Thats what I did.
I rooted yesterday using ioroot 25 after stock flash and upgrade to Kit Kat on the Sprint LS995 version. It does it via update from adb in the stock recovery

Yeah after having a horrible update and getting caught in a boot loop I went back to starting over with lg flash tool to 4.2.2 taking the OTA to 4.4 and then ioroot 25 I tried the automatic method first and it rebooted to recovery and then choked so I selected apply update from ADB and adb side load kk_root.zip http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=48709232&postcount=869 check the section under not working for manual root method

NEVER update anything if you are rooted especially not when you have a custom recovery. At least not until you thoroughly read through the forum. I find it insane that people will just start flashing things when you could possibly have a $700 paper weight. The att model and the tmous model have different modems. Go here for a really good guide. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2753013

You can't just go back to kitkat since there's no one put out a return to stock kitkat procedure. Your best option is to use the return to jelly bean stock flashtool procedure for at&t and just take the kitkat update again that's the only way.

Hi all, I just got back from basic training at Fort Jackson, I had rooted my phone before leaving and now I want to go back to stock, looking around I haven't seen anything and the one I did see was taken down due to hard bricking. So is there any way to go back to full stock Unrooted.

Yes, you can upgrade from the 10h to 10n, but you should not downgrade from 10n to 10h as there is a rollback flag that will prevent loading the stagefright vulnerable 10h and brick your phone.
Please help, my moto x 2014 wont boot what so ever. This first started from when I tried to root my XT1097 on android 5.1 using this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/mot...e-edition-superboot-style-root-motox-t2889264 not realizing it wasn't for android 5.1. Then it was acting weird so I booted into fastboot and used a factory image which was for AT&T devices. Realizing this was the wrong image (No service or wifi what so ever) I flashed the proper image to return to stock, but now my device simply sits at the M logo and wont boot. Any help to get this device back up and running is appreciated!

Yep, I wiped them both as per usual. If it helps, I can still access fastboot and recovery.
If it is sticking at the M, its failing to boot Android at all. Does it roll into recovery automatically? Which firmware did you flash? Also, was the version flashed older than the one you previously had?

It doesn't seem to roll into recovery automatically. I flashed this initially : VICTARA_ATT_5.0.2_LXE22.46-34 (AT&T zip), and then I flashed this one: RETCA_XT1097_5.0.1_LXE22.46-22. I forgot which version I had before I tried rooting, but I do know it was android 5.1.

Is your bootloader unlocked? If you went to the 5.0.2 AT&T and your bootloader is locked, you won't be able to downgrade back to 5.0.1. Try getting a firmware that is the same version or newer.

My bootloader is unlocked, and when I say that I'm stuck at the M, I mean I'm stuck at the bootloader warning. (I didn't know what to call it)

Yeah, that's where I figured it was hanging. All signs just point to a bad flash/firmware. I'd try downloading a different version (even 5.1 since you're unlocked) or verifying the hash on the firmware you flashed. You can use HashMyFiles to check the md5 or SHA hashes.

I am personally a huge fan of House of Moto, it will generate automatic scripts to flash the firmware for you. Check out the thread here: http://www.droidrzr.com/index.php?/topic/61124-House-of-Moto-[4.3]

I did flash the Canadian firmware to my knowledge. RETCA_XT1097_5.0.1_LXE22.46-22_cid14_CFC.xml?
I was browsing the xda threads and saw this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-x-2014/general/guide-xt1097-to-xt1095-nextel-t2972693 where it states: "IMPORTANT. From 5.1 update, the modems included on the update are FULLY compatible with all models, XT1097, 1092 and 1093 and all carriers ,so, you don't have to worry about losing IMEI, signal or data." So, should I be able to flash the brazilian xt1097 firmware and have the proper radios installed from this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-x-2014/general/ota-android-marshmallow-6-0-final-t3248315 ?
