The same way you have installed the Xposed framework: boot into recovery and flash the uninstaller.zip file.
Will it remove the root too?

I would recommend you not touch Xposed. You don't seem to have a minimum of knowledge to handle alpha software of this type.

No, the Uninstaller.zip will only remove the Xposed framework, you will still have root access.

Thanks. I went ahead and used titanium backup to do it. Are there files that ti backup would miss that this app would clean up. This is my first android phone and I am just now digging into it to see what I can do with it.

Seriously? We are meant to help with just that?
Are you rooted? Which ROM? Which Kernel? Which version of xposed?
So much more info you could give us to give us a chance to help you....
Of course and I am rooted. Rom: 4.4.4, Kernel: 14.4.A.0.108 and I use xposed installer 2.7 expermental 1. I have already use 2-3 different versions but the results are frustrated.

You have issues with root.
How did you root? Have you disabled RIC? Did you give xposed root rights with supersu app?
Try checking root with a root checker
Iam rooted and I checking it. I cannot remember the method that I have followed for rooting. That is the RIC?

Well, that message from xposed says you are not rooted.
Untill you can remember how you rooted or you can confirm you are rooted then we can not go any further.
Please root again or show a screenshot of your super user app giving root access to other apps, and show that you can create a file in the system partition or data/app folder of your phone to confirm you are rooted.
RIC is in sys/kernel/security/sony_ric/enable and should be set to 0. Unless you have killed it with an init.d script or a kernel mod it will always revert to 1 on a reboot and hence you will lose root.

In recovery.
Could you provide me detailed instructions?
Thank you in advance

Place the file I posted on your sd card
reboot to recovery and choose install zip from sdcard.
But first, have you installed a recovery? If not look in the cross device development section for dual recovery and install that
I would like to know if it's possible to temporary unroot my phone to use the TomTom app.
I saw that the superuser pro app has per app settings, could I use this to temporary unroot my phone?
Sorry to respond so late
You can temporarily unroot your phone safly with the checkbox in super SU (i tried it myself) I am unsure if rebooting while unrooting is okay.
If you get xposed you can use rootcloak, better than uprooting.

Hi. I have cm12.1 and I use xposed framework v84, I saw there is an update to v85. Should I just flash the zip to get xposed updated? I don't know if there is a risk with modules on.
Thank you!

Just flash v85 and wipe cache&dalvik afterwards. That's it.
Okay thank you so much!

As an addition to this question, I have a LG v10 which requires an additional file to be flashed with Xposed in order to keep the second screen from crashing during a call. Would that file need to be reflashed due to upgrading?

V84 and above no longer need the second screen fix, since LG's encrypted apps are now supported.

You just flash the module like a normal zip file
No data loss
You can flash module again to uninstall it

Does flash module again, really uninstalls it?
Thnks
Yes it does
So if you get a bootloop because of a module you can flash it in TWRP to uninstall it and boot successfully again
