I know many are having trouble flashing kitkat using twrp, so many have switched over to cwm recovery. So, if youy want to keep using twrp recovery(like i do), there is a working version that has no issues with flashing kitkat, the modified multirom version of twrp can flash kitkat. here it is, enjoy http://d-h.st/ueH
Thanks Simms can't stand using cwm lol

There already is a new-new one:
2.6.3.2
Does it look any different as it actually fills up the screen on the right side?

I have just tested it and the new v2.6.3.2 allows you to install KitKat successfully!

I downloaded the .img file and flashed it using the flashify app (from playstore)

Power off and then power on and see if the keyboard posted up. If you have a custom recovery you can try to ADB sideload a Gapps zip in TWRP and that should bring up a keyboard for you.

Oh it's stock. Well I would try a warranty from Amazon. Otherwise you'll need a fastboot cord and factory images.

What are your steps when you flash a new rom? And are you on the correct TWRP for your device?
Yes I am.
Sent from my SM-G920T1 using Tapatalk
I do the same thing I do with all roms. I backup and then wipe everything but internal. I never do dirty flashes.
