I used the KFFirstAide to install google play and it kept crashing after opening, I used an apk to update to the latest play store and it works for a minute but then tells me google play services has stopped responding So I updated playservicesframework, googleloginservice and accountandsyncsettings to the latest versions with the same result. anyone know where I went wrong?
I rooted my Fire and have Google Play. Most of the other apps I have from Play are working. This is the only one so far that fails to start. I removed the system Kindle app, Goodreads, Audible, and Whisperlink apps before I installed Kindle from Google. Also, it seems that the Kindle app from Google Store can't seem to start Whisperlink in the background on startup.
Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?
I know about the Play Store thread for the fire tablets but they are all running different OS firmware versions to the 5.2.4.1 running on my Fire Stick.
I have tried the original combo on that thread and i had the both the services and the store icons there.
The services gave me a white screen with "google settings" in the top left corner of the screen but then went back to the previous screen.
The store went black for around 10 secs then said the version of the play store i was using was incompatible with my device.
I am only really trying to install it so i can use one app that needs Google Play services to use, BT Sport.
Looks like it is easier to be a pirate and watch it through Kodi illegally than it is to watch it legally.
Has anybody managed to get the play store up and running on a fire stick since the THAT update killed all amazon devices?
Am i wasting my time trying a few different combos?
Just thought i would ask this question now and hopefully have an answer of sorts by the time i get home from work tomorrow.
Any suggestions would be helpful.
This is the wrong place to post it... Also Amazon's FireOS for the FireTV platform is completely different from the FireOS on the tablets. The FireOS for FireTV broke Google Play. Your more likely with the Leanback version of Google Play (It doesn't work either.) as it is for Android TV.
Good morning,
I tried to install Google Duo on my amazon Fire HD 10 (2019) but without result.
I have Play store installed and all the google apps are perfectly working.
Google Duo Website is working so I can do videocall there but android App is not working.
I can install the app but at the moment that I pout my phone number and I click on verify, I receive these info: '' An error is occurred''
Thank you in advance,
Salvatore

Not a "Google support" issue; it's a Fire vs Google Account chooser issue. I initially installed Google stuff via APKs and could not get Duo to work/login. I just factory restored my Fire 10 and used the Toolbox to un-Amazon and install Google. I can now login to Duo (but now I can't get Chrome from the Play store, ugh).
Google Duo Working on Amazon Fire HD 10 9th Gen
Just got Google Duo to work on my new Amazon Fire HD 10 9th gen.
Sideloaded Google Play Services and Store, then tried to install Google Duo from play store. Installed, but would not work. Removed the app, then tried to sideload latest APK. Would not install. Tried several other versions, still would not install. Removed all Google DUO APK versions, shut down tablet, and restarted. Downloaded Google Duo from store and it installed, loaded, and works fine now. Not sure why, but give it a try.
Note: I did download DUO Mobile app from play store by mistake, and installed. Don't think this helped in installing Google Duo as described above, but it was installed WHEN I tried to sideload previous versions of Google Duo APKs. Just to let you know.
Ok
I have a 9th generation Fire 7 and I've installed Google Play etc and then installed the official Youtube app from the Play Store. What doesn't seem to be working is using Alexa to search and play Youtube videos....is there a way I can get that to work?

Alexa is useless, that's not going to YouTube app, it is going to Amazon Appstore and search. Try to install Google assistant for useful features.
