Trying to get back to the Tmobile based rom. Any help? - T-Mobile HTC One (M9)

So, here's my dilemma. I decided to flash the MaximusHD Rom (WWE based rom). Its smooth but certain things are a bug mentally. Id like to Go back to the US Tmobile based rom and get the OTA update. Im Not S-OFF and dont plan on paying $25 to do so. I have a backup, but its a twrp backup, so it wont allow me to install the OTA. What are my options? Does anyone have a 2.7.531.6 TWRP Backup or a rom i can flash?

[Q] [REQUEST] Stock T-Mobile ROM/Nandroid Backup

Hey all,
so I recently flashed the MaximusHD ROM for my M7 on T-Mobile US. I love the ROM, 4.3 is great, blah blah blah. But right now, TWRP won't recognize my Nandroid backup that I made on stock 4.1.2. I need a Nandroid backup I can use to restore to Stock if I so need, OR a T-Mobile US ROM for M7 on 4.1.2, so I can relock my bootloader and use my RUU properly (if I relock my bootloader, MaximusHD won't boot, thus making me unable to use the RUU).
Unless one of you fine people can tell me how to get TWRP to recognize my Nandroid backup on 4.1.2 (it doesn't show up in the Restore window in TWRP).
Thanks!
Ps. This isn't necessarily an urgent matter, but I would really love to have these things settled before I need them. Also, I tried using the extracted ROM from the T-Mobile RUU, but TWRP wouldn't flash it, so now I'm stuck trying to find something else. Thanks y'all!

[Q] HTC one orange uk backup

Hi,
I rooted my HTC one phone and flashed new firmware on it but quite foolishly didn't make a back up of my stock rom. My original CID is ORANG001 so the only way to get back to stock it seems is to find a nandroid backup or an RUU of this firmware, is that right? Before I flashed a custom rom I had sense 5.5 and android 4.3. Was wondering if anyone had or knew where I could get a back up of this particular stock firmware? I have found a couple of sites but the links are not working. Does anybody have any other ideas on how I can go back to stock firmware and get OTA updates

Not quite hard to do
But I wanna ask you 1 question- Why do you want to return to stock? Returning to stock is just a limited version of a Sense-based custom ROM.
Why don't you flash a Sense-based custom ROM, which is almost identical to Stock? For example ARHD 52.0
I don't want to return to stock now as I'm enjoying custom roms on my phone. I just want to ability to return to stock for potential warranty issues or if I would like to receive OTA updates from my carrier. I think the software version i need is 2.24.61.1

[Q] Back Up Google Edition?

Hello, so I turned my One into a google edition by flashing the ruu and wanted to know if I could backup before going back to sense. I don't want to restore my stuff to sense, I want it so I can restore my Google edition stuff if I don't want to stay on sense. Im currently running the stock (non-rooted) version so I can't use titanium backup. However, since Im S-Off, couldn't I flash twrp, backup, then flash sense, then if I wanted to go back to Google Edition I could just flash the ruu, install twrp, restore the backup, then flash stock recovery? Would this work, and if yes could I take updates?
Thanks,
GalaxyUser50
You are correct, flash a custom recovery. Make a backup and copy it to your PC.
When going from Sense to GPe you don't need to flash the GPe RUU unless you used an RUU to flash Sense and you want the GPe firmware again. Just restore the backup in CWM or TWRP.

[Q] Can upgrade to 4.4.3 having 4.4.2 Sense 6 S-ON Boot Unlocked

Hi everyone!
I unlocked using HTCDEV my One (M7-UL , Europe version) with Hboot 1.57 and 4.4.2 with S-ON. After rooting and putting a custom recovery, I received an OTA update to upgrade to 4.4.3.
My question is, Can I upgrade as it or my device will brick ("Furthermore, although you will still be able to receive updates to your device via FOTA (“firmware over the air”), we do not guarantee that updating your device via FOTA will not render your device unusable")? I have read from HTC that if you upgrade an OTA being unlocked, it may fail...
Then:
1) May I relock boot and put a stock recovery in order to upgrade? If so, How does it work?
2) Or maybe I can run Sunshine in my device (i tested and it seems to work, I stopped in paypal step) to get S-OFF and then obtain this RUU and flash it?
Thx in advance!
To receive the ota you need to put the stock recovery back and copy over some of the apps that get deleted when you unlock the bootloader. It's a lot of stuffing around to be honest. Why not just install a custom Rom that uses 4.4.3. They are better than stock roms anyways
But I'm actually receiving this OTA; I'm hesitating to press install button being unlocked...
Tell me examples of these ROMS. Are they 100% compatible with all HTC ONE stock staff, (infrared , beats audio...)?.
Thx
It will let you download an ota if you are on a stock Rom. But if you have a custom recovery or you haven't re added the apps that were deleted when you unlocked it won't install. It won't brick your phone or anything. It just won't install. Maximums and Android revolution are two off the top of my head. Both work fine. Why don't you just experiment a little. Back up your current Rom and try a few others. If you don't like them u can always restore the backup
Thx. I'll try.
One more question, do you recommend me to run Sunshine in 4.4.2 stock rom to gain S-OFF before installing MaximusHD ROM?
and how much is secure doing S-OFF with this tool?
Sunshine does work best on stock roms. It's quick and easy and does compatibility tests to make sure it Will work on your phone. It does cost $25 but we'll worth it if you ask me
Sunshined Done!
Now I'm going to installing MaximusHD, and possible later, GPE (that requires being S-OFF first).
Any good guide explaining GPE<->SENSE (stock or custom)?
Thx

[Q] Stock OTA Query

I might be bringing up the same topic from the Grave. If yes, then please bare with me.
I currently on the Viper ROM with my HTC M7(European Version).
I want to go back to stock and I kind of figured out on how to do it.
I juts had few queries for you guys:
I need to S-OFF, lock the bootloader and run RUU for Stock as far as I understood. Is that right?
Now, if I am successful with the above step of getting my stock ROM on my M7, will I continue to get all the stock OTA updates from HTC like the 4.4.2 Kitkat update + sense 6? Or will i be required to do a manual update all the time?
Thanks in advance for your support.
Cheers

You will receive OTAs as normal after an ruu and can flash them as long as you stay with stock recovery and do not mess with anything in /system or stock apps in /data (just use titanium backup or similar to freeze the apps instead of removing them).
If you want, make a backup of stock recovery (or find a recovery.img to flash when OTA comes) and use a custom recovery to make a nandroid backup that way you can root and mess with /system and /data as wanted and restore the backup and flash the stock recovery when you update.
