Was stuck on SmartSwitch 5.1.1 update - Verizon Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge

Saw that 5.1.1 finally came to Verizon, was previously rooted with CleanROM so I unrooted, flashed back to AOC3 and tried updating through SmartSwitch. I was stuck at 16% on SmartSwitch for about an hour, finally got fed up and force restarted it. Seemed like that was a bad idea, because now I cannot flash back using Odin to AOC3 and am stuck downloading OG5 (5.1.1) at turtle speeds from the scam artists at Sammobile
Does anyone have a fix? or a mirror link to OG5 so I'm not sitting here for 3 hours on 100-250KB/s DL speed? I'm kind of **** out of luck right now so any help is appreciated

Smart switch has an emergency recovery option. I had to use it when i had to send my phone back to VZW.

What version stock did you download. I tried the UK and it almost bricked my device. I am trying Cellular South next. I read that it's a US company because I can't find US or Canada on any sites. Only tons of other countries.

Hi Mate,
I did get stuck on the boot screen but this is what i did.
1. Download this UK version (BTU), (I have uploaded the one I used and added it to dropbox for you as it was a real pain to get, I apologize ADMIN if this is not allowed but I just want to help) https://www.dropbox.com/s/lejcpo7mp3ayxvp/BTU-V700XXUAMK7-20131115153259 stock rom.zip?dl=0
then unrar it to get the MD5 file
2. I used odin 3.09 the leave ticked auto reboot and f. reset time. add the MD5 file to AP. then flash..
3. When my watch rebooted it got stuck on the samsung boot screen so I held down the power button and then when it said rebooting I pressed the button 5 times to assess recovery.
4. select recovery, the phone will then recovery itself into the stock firmware.
5. open keis 3 and follow instructions there and keis will update the watch to tizen automatically.
I hope this helps you, if i can help in anyway just shout , im by no means an expert tho lol.
Matt.
WORKED!
Worked. Thank you.

[Fixed] Wrong android status?

Recently I tried to update my rooted phone using the safestrap method http://forum.xda-developers.com/att-galaxy-s5/general/how-to-root-g900aucu2aoa1-4-4-4-2-3-2015-t3021120 however I didn't read all the instructions and ended up having to reflash back to stock http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2714455 and got the black screen. I tried reflashing stock multiple times and nothing.
fast forward with some help From OPOfreak I got my phone working again.
Ok now for the new problem.
I originally got the phone to work after flashing G900A_OA1_Stock_Kernel
The phone only seems to work if I flash this file. None others. Not even the NCE firmware.
Also I keep getting a notification stating "Unauthorized actions have been detected. Restart your phone to undo any unauthorized changes." I've restarted a couple times but doesn't seem to do anything.
also I noticed in my about device: the baseband version is NCE, The build number is also NCE, but the SE for Android status shows enforcing 4.4.4.
I've been searching around and it doesn't seem like anyone else has had this problem. Any help would be much appreciated.

I'd just Odin back to NCE make sure you don't flash bootloader. Then just start over with the NG3 to OA1 update thread that's how I took the 4.4.4 update

I tried multiple times. But every time I tried I got a black screen at start up. I tried flashing them all at once, I tried flashing them all separately, I even tried flashing with the BL just to see. Every time I got the black screen.
On a whim I tried flashing just the NG3 modem to see what would happen. It seemed to work. Phone acted really weird, I had Baseband verison NG3, Build Number NCE, But I got the Android status back to 4.4.2.
after all that I was finally able to flash back to NCE, then took that OTA for NG3.
Thank you for all your help.
My phone is completely stock again. Haven't rerooted or anything. Should I go ahead and try http://forum.xda-developers.com/att-galaxy-s5/general/how-to-root-g900aucu2aoa1-4-4-4-2-3-2015-t3021120 to get 4.4.4 ? or will it OTA again to it?

Question about unrooting a ATT S6... and what happened after

Ok First..
there was a weird update for ATT and i updated.. no big deal.. device wasnt rooted
Looked at ping pong root to see if my build number was supported and it was! , so i rooted my device..
shortly after realized rooting a 5.0.2 is pointless because im into that SBGAMEHACKER app alot, and not having it makes majorty of the root pointless.. so I downloaded the latest ATT stock firmware off of one of the major posts here with all these links and downloaded the correct odin .. flashed stock firmware, went into the back door of the phone and did a hard reset/plus wipe cache ...
phone is great now and all but something wierd.. starting the phone, there is no att "locker" how it always be... and also the keyboard is not the actual lolipop keyboard, it has that swype ugly looking keyboard, tried hard reseting again by doing wipe factory reset etc.. and flashing using odin stock firmware again but no luck at all.. phone is fine and all, but its bothering me that its really not 100% ATT stock...
anyone have links to a true ATT Stock firmware for latest software?

(Q) I527 stuck in Download

(RESOLVED)
Alright so in order to not bore you all, ill get to the point. I messed up trying to do impossible things with my I537 because I didn't read any forums before trying... stupid I know. That being said I now have a "soft bricked" phone stuck in download mode. I have been looking around (I assume not hard enough) for the right file to flash with ODIN to get me back up and running so I can actually do my research this time before playing with different stock roms.
Can anyone point me in the right direction to get the right files to unbrick this thing?
First things first: this forum is for the SGH-I537 AT&T Galaxy S4 Active, not the I527 Galaxy Mega. I just want to make sure you have the right device. If you have the Mega (I527), you want this forum, and ignore the rest of this post.
If you do in fact have the Galaxy S4 Active (I537), then check out this thread, it has all the official firmware files that have been released for this device. I would recommend using the firmware files for NE3 (KitKat) to flash in Odin. The NE3 build is the easiest to root, and you can always use the keep-root method to upgrade to lollipop if you so desire.
Oh yes sorry that was a mistype. I did indeed mean to type I537. Ok Ill give this a shot and update on how it goes.
Ok so Im currently downloading the Full Odin package, but I have already rooted the phone with towelroot. Is that going to be an issue?
Nah it won't be a problem. Flashing firmware files with Odin will unroot your phone (it resets everything to original factory settings). You can always reroot with towel root again
Ok new problem though, I was able to get everything flashed through ODIN, it restarts; then I get the Samsung boot screen, att boot screen and then it just goes black. I put it back into download mode and tried to re-flash it a couple times but it keeps doing the same thing. Thoughts? This Is the section I got the file from;
I537UCUCNE3 (4.4.2) Released 2014-06-06 - OFFICIAL
Issue has been solved, I just had a battery issue but after changing that and letting the phone charge up it started up great. Thanks for all your help "thisisapoorusernamechoice"

Returning to stock from CRB1 Oreo

Ok so for the life of me I cant get off CRB1 . I've flashed BRA6 but it fails in odin plus ive tried to flash 3 updates before BRA6 and still fails in odin. Am I stuck until the next base with matching bootloader comes out or has anyone figured out how to get back to sprint stock yet? Any help would be appreciated.
