Galaxy Note 3 MS-900A Can I Install Thai Language Pack? - AT&T Galaxy Note 3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

So I have an AT&T SM-900A, unlocked, but not rooted as of yet. I want to give this phone to my wife who is from Thailand, but the phone does not have an option for Thai language.
Can I, or how can I, install the Android files that support this or that come pre-installed on a phone sold in that region?
Any help, assistance, or general take a look here would be greatly appreciated as my searches did not yield any definitive answer.

[Q]From Dutch to English in HTC touch HD

Hi guys,
I am about to buy a HTC touch HD, but I live in the Netherlands and I dont speak dutch...
So before I spend a lot of money, i was wondering if it would be possible to find a way to change the operating system language form dutch to english (or French).
Since I am (really) a newbie, I would appreciate any link to a tutorial.
Cheers

Wait till the HardSPL releases. Flash English/French ROM and you're done
Thx a lot.
I have now 2 questions
What is a HardSPL (and how do I use it?) and
When is it gonna be released?
It was 3 questions actually
1. Read the wiki on Hard SPL (answers questions 1 and 2)
2. they are still working on the HSPL for the HD, see the sticky.. As soon as it is available you will notice it..
why don't you buy the www version? i am dutch and also speak it and i could choose the nl version and the www version, you can do that on many dutch sites.
If you want if for free (or a small amount) with a subscripion, some mobile-operators will only sell dutch version of HD.
not at PDAshop.nl for instance. But their phones are a bit more expensive then when you buy them in the shop...
Well I maybe could buy it online but I would have to pay a lot.
Here I am buying it with the KPN flexible contract, and I have the phone for free.
They told me that they were selling it only with the dutch version (which is not very logical when you see the number of foreigners in Holland who dont speak dutch...)
I could have the HTC Diamond in English but I d rather wait a little bit for the HardSPL to be released.
By the way I tryed to look on the wiki to see how to use the HSPL, but I did not find it, if someone could give me the link I would appreciate it.
Thanks

Just buy a WWE version. In the netherlands most shops sell both, also with a KPN contract. Check for example this shop. I think that is the best way to go for you, other than waiting for a hardspl
This website looks interesting but its in dutch!! And from what I have understood if I wanna have the phone for free with the KPN flexible, I need to take the 45euros/month.
In the shop they give it to me for 27.5 euros/month with internet included...
But thanks anyway for the help
I can't imagine the HD for that amount of money! I think it's without data use, the costs of it will be on top of the € 27,50.
No! everything is included!!
Thats why I couldnt believed it at first too!
And thats also why I am gonna wait patiently for the HSPL to be released
What you can also do is go for the 45 euro option...you will have internet and all..
After 3 months you can downgrade your subscription for free to any amount you want. Even the 20 euro one.
Nofi.. But how about you learn the language of the country you are living in? like all foreigners should do..
And how about you teach me dutch in two weeks?
Did I tell you that I didnt want to learn dutch?
This is where i bought a HD at a very sharp price; it's also available in English (2 weeks delivering time)
http://www.2call.nl/telefoons/htc/touch_hd_en
The site is in dutch, but you must have some dutch ppl round you that are willing to help i hope, they're not all jerks..
Thanks for the post. I live in Amsterdam and had the same issue. Tried all stores and they all looked at me like I am crazy for asking for an English version. Anyhow, not sure if you already got one, but I tried the suggestion and went with www.2call.nl. Got mine in less than 2 days. They have the EN version in stock now. T-Mobile has a great deal now, 2 years contract, 29 euros per month for 300min, and free internet for 2 years...

You can flash a i9000 rom so instead of looking for att captivate in the search section look for samsung i9000, that is the international version of the phone. You can flash a US ROM more than likely and it is very easy. Please look there...
Ge Thanks Slider, will try it. hope will bring back a english menu instead of the mandarin ones.
sorry for this stupid question but doesnt gingerbread have 32 languages to choose from or is that just the ability to type or text in those languages? sorry i was just curious and this is prob a stupid question.

[Q] How easy is it to change the language (no rooting, etc.)?

Hi,
A friend wants to buy an Incredible S which is not in English (but she wants it in English). Unfortunately I won't be around to help her (I have a rooted desire HD and it's very easy to change the interface language).
On a default install of the Incredible S, is this as simple as selecting English in some language menu item?
Thanks

Just can't get the correct meaning. Do you mean that your friend hasn't bought IS yet?
She hasn't bought it yet. The website states that the interface is not in English and I'm just curious as to how easy it would be to change it to English without rooting, etc. Basically, does the default Android make it easy to change language?
Where do your friend will buy? If it is in one of the Europe Countries, YES, you can change to English.
If not, just go to Market and download "MoreLocale2" it can help you to change to other languages, without any rooting or S-OFF required.
awesome thanks. she is buying it in an EU country, yes, so hopefully it will be very easy, but an app isnt a big deal either

English(UK) language

Hi,
I have just bought a HTC One 64GB 801s. I live in England and everything is fine with the phone apart from the fact the only languages in English I can select are either US or Australian. Is there anyway I can port over a UK language pack to the phone? I have done a search through the threads but cannot find anything relevant.
Thanks
**Bump** Does anyone know if this is possible without rooting?

Strange, mine had English (UK) both on stock, and now on ARHD. Did you check the entire list, because the Languages aren't "really" sorted so
- English (United States)
- English (UK)
don't appear close to each other.
You could try MoreLocale on the Play Store but not used it in years
Is it really a problem,as australians and americans speak english anyway
Sent from my 801n M7_UL
Thanks for the response. Have just double checked and there are only 5 to choose from. English in Australian, New Zealand or US and two others that look like mandarin.
