Hello experts...
Can anyone confirm before I attempt to tether...
Can I tether my Samsung Galaxy S3 GT-i9305 on Three-UK network with unlimited download to my Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 and my Laptop without incurring Tethering charges,,, Using Wifi Connection to both devices.
Appreciate any advice.
AJW
Yes and no. Tethering is allowed only on The One Plan, so if that's your plan than yes

Thanks for the reply... The plan is called Unlimited Internet 1000. Does that one qualify?

I'll repeat, "The One Plan" ONLY!
Your plan doesn't allow tethering.

I searched the net for best blue tooth tethering. And it works great. I was online in minutes.

How did you get that to work with bluetooth?
Just out of curiosity what Phone/Rom are you using because I run a stock MJ7 rooted on my S4 on Verizon and have had ZERO issues bluetooth tethering without the assistance of any BT Tethering apps flawlessly since day 1. Again not being an ass just curious.

Good talk.
I am on a Verizon Moto x rooted(non dev edition) and a grandfathered unlimited data plan. Apparently it does not include hotspot. Is there any way to bypass the Verizon verification on the hotspot in the settings menu? I have done this on older phones, so how can I do this with the Moto x?

Just to clarify, I don't want to use foxfi or something like that, I want the default settings app.

Yes. If you are on a MAC you can use my toolkit. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2591875
or just follow this forum. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2536166
Thanks so much, I'm not on a Mac, but I was fine doing it the manual way.

no you have to be rooted to use native tether or wifi tether app
I just hung up the phone with T-Mobile after they told me that SGH-T849 is not eligible for the free 200MB mobile internet plan they have. Has anyone successfully activated and been using the plan?
Thanks.
Free plan? Got any links?

Just go tmobile.com or go to store and ask for it. You have to buy a new sim though.
