Hey guys! I just thought that I would let you in on my experience with the 2150 mah extended battery by verizon. I am still in school and I get pretty terrible service throughout the building. time without signal ends up to be at 60 % I wake up at 6 get up take A shower... Unplugged by 7 play some games... Listen to music almost all day. Send 100 ish texts. when I get home at 225 its still at 75 % I get 2 days out of it with hard usage. I use ultimate juice and have 3g on all day.

I'm hoping that my 2150 will come to life in the next few days. As of yesterday with moderate usage I ended up plugging my phone in at about 10:30 and that was because the battery was at 27%. I unplugged it at 6am yest and played a couple of YouTube videos, made a few calls(the longest being 23mins), sent hundreds of text messages and a few emails. I didn't do any gaming and had wifi, gps turned off and the brightness at about 1/2 way. With these setting and usage, I should be able to get 2 days or atleast a day and a half of battery life. As of right now I unplugged my phone at 6:17am and made a 7min phone call and I'm sitting at 87%. I turned the screen brightness down to 0 to see if that help, but I shouldn't have to turn everything off and screen brightness to 0 from what I've read. If this batt doesnt improve in the next few days, I'm gonna go with a cheap 3500 from eBay.

Update: well, my 2150 is running much better after two charge/discharge cycles. I unplugged my phone today at 6:00am after bump charging it and as of 8:11pm its at 71%. Nice! That's leaving the screen brightness on at 50% and playing games for a total of 30mins plus a few phone calls and my normal texting throughout the day. I'm happy with the battery so far.

Thought I'd give an update on my vzm 2150 battery.
It's by far out lasting the stock battery and it seems to be getting better with every charge. Yesterday I made several phone calls, sent about 500 text messages, made several online purchases, played angry birds and a few other games for a total of one hour, browsed online for a while, streamed fm radio and Pandora for a total of 30 mins and have the screen brightness set to 50%. When I got home that night at 11:30 I was at 27% battery life left and that was unplugging my phone at 6:00 am. So far this batter is awesome.

I recently got this battery here's my experience
Firstly, I did get mine for free from verizon. Tip (tell the rep about how your phone dies quick then the phone's led blinks amber when you plug it in.) Secondly, I am running CM7 latest nightlies with the governor set to performance, overclocked, screen brightness is auto, wifi off 90% of the time, bluetooth and gps on 100%.
Here is my usage on a typical work day
I use pandora probably for at least 3 hours a day with bluetooth connected (keep in mind that I use the high quality music setting and turn off the auto screen lock so the screen is on that whole time. I will typically need to use gps for about 15-30 minutes. I'm not a txter at work so minimal txt usage, I will make 3 or 4 phone calls. I will also browse the web for about 30 minutes.
With this usage I get a solid 8 hours out of this battery so most of the time my phone is dying or dies on the car ride home. (I do have a charger but after a day of work sometimes it's nice to let my phone die) If I have a day full of appointments however I will have plenty of battery life left. I almost never put my phone on the charger until its dead and the first few cycles I really drained the battery to the point that it wouldn't turn on and would charge it all night powered off.
Overall I recommend it. I don't know how I lived without it. I hope this long winded reply is helpful to someone. Enjoy!

Another update on my vzm 2150. As of last week my battery started draining faster than normal and then started dying within 5-6 hours of minimal usage. So I called customer care and they noted my account and advised me to go back into the vzm store I purchased the battery from and ask for an exchange. I'm on my new battery now and it is lasting much longer than the defective 2150 I previously had in my phone.

On a typical work day, I usually get 12-16 hours with this extended battery - this is with music playback (winamp or stock music player) for 3-4 hours, browsing for about 3-4 hours, texting all day, 2-3 phone calls, autosync exchange + 2 gmail accounts.
On weekends, I turn off autosync, I can get by 2 days with the same usage.
I have no answers but I think apps are a real problem with the battery. I have the 2150 and I've had days that it died before the end of a single day and then I've also went three days before needing to plug it in. My usage is pretty consistent so a rogue app (widget) is my best guess. I've had good results since killing the WeatherBug Widget.
A little off topic, How much thicker is the battery cover than the stock battey cover? I am looking into getting this myself but I dont want to give up my protective case.

Thinking of picking up a used inc off CL since my Eris has trackball issues again and I want to know what I am getting into.

Its about double the thickness where the first "bump" of the stock back cover raises up. I used my 2150 for about a week before giving it to my wife. I really liked the performance of the 2150, but I could not get used to the extra thickness or the look of the phone. I am going to be getting the htc 1500 batt and use the stocker as a backup.

Loving this thing so far. Extra bulkiness took a little time to get used to, but other than that the performance is great. Don't even need to use my car charger anymore, which crapped out on me anyway.
i have a 1750 extended battery in mine and most days i can make it thru work on a light load, but i have a cord that i just leave at work so i leave it plugged in all the time. im looking to going back to stock though cause of some recent over heat issues.
I know it sounds crazy, but I do like the extra bulkiness. It's easier for me to hold onto it and just feels better in my hand. It doesn't weigh down my shorts and doesn't feel too heavy.
The only thing I don't like is how ugly the back looks (really not that bad), but it's easily fixed with a snazzy case from here:
http://htcpedia.com/news/case-cover-htc-droid-incredible-extended-batteryc.html
I'd suggest other places but that's the only store I've seen that sells cases that'll fit the OEM 2150 battery.
Wow, just saw someone's phone with the 2150 in it and the extra bulkyness is a deal breaker for me. I heard the 1750 fits pretty close to stock, and I have a jelly case around it, so I probably wouldn't notice some of the reports of gaps in the case; BUT I haven't heard any real great gains from the 1750. I might just pick up a cheap one from amazon, and if it doesn't work so great I'll only be out a couple bucks.
I wish there was as much focus on creating a battery that would last a week, as there is on making the next processor.
I love the bulykness......

Well, went back to my 2150 and I love how I'm not stuck to a charger for the day. I hated the feeling of,"oh no! Where is there an outlet so I can plug my phone in?!!!!" The performance is worth the added bulk.

If you have a Revolution you must get the 2900 mAh Lithium Battery.
I am a moderate low user running GingerVolt V1.2. I unplug my phone at 6AM and go to work. I talk for about an 1hr/day, surf the net, email, game for 1hr/day. I pass a 4G area on the way to work but for the most part I am strictly 3G with LTE on. I used to get 9-10 HRs before my phone would die.
I bought my 2900 mAh battery from the verizon store. My phone has been unplugged for 1 Day 15 Hrs with 25% battery left!!! I could go 2 Days but that would be pushing it.
The extended battery is bulky and does make the phone a bit heavier but I think I have a better grip of it now. The protrusion seems to be a good finger wedge. Furthermore, I really didn't feel a difference while my phone was in my pocket.
Overall I fell in love with my phone again. I can be free of the power cord longer than you.

I got that once with stock battery but that was me sending like 3 texts and other than that not touching my phone
is it worth $50 though
Downside is that my case doesn't fit anymore. But, the battery makes the phone fit the holster without the case. Sure do miss the protection the case would give though... One drop that breaks the phone would make me regret having the battery instead of the case...

Agreed.. It fits in the holster but does not fit well and has a tendency to fall out. I saw at a VZW store that they had the same holster/case I use (with the kickstand) for the Bionic, and it says it fit with extended battery. Dang it. I want that for our Revo!!

I paid $27.18 total. I got a 25 dollar discount somehow at checkout and I got free 2 day shipping. I didn't do anything special or login or do coupons.
I got the same discount in a VZW corporate store when it rang up. Despite the size and weight, it's nice not worrying about power all day.

I've had the extended battery 3 days longer than I've had the phone. I used to keep it and a standard battery fully charged but the extended worked so well I put the standard away. When I have strong a strong signal I can use the internet for hours and see only a minimal decrease. Its well worth the money.

I have the extended life battery from Verizon. Says 3000mAh and I can proudly say that with moderate/heavy use, I get about 12-14 hours. Less that moderate/light use and I get about 25-27 hours.
for those still wanting this battery, I got one from Verizon at Half off due to a promotion. Apparently all batteries for 4G devices are 50% of until the end of march.
I got the extended battery and I'm getting about 7-8 hr of use.. but I'm using very heavy use. Like wifi tether. Texting all day. YouTube. Internet. Extended battery is awesome

Thanks for the info! I can confirm, just placed an order for mine, $25 plus tax. Doesn't appear to be a discount on all batteries for all phones, but ours is good.

You won't be disappointed!
I got this about a week ago and I absolutely love it, but has anyone noticed it takes like 6-7 hours to recharge from dead. It seems extraordinarily long.
Also it charges really slow, before you could see it charge 20% in like 45-60 minutes, now it does like 7% in an hour.
Still totally worth it as long as you have a plug in each night, you'll never go dead.
I also have the extended battery. Despite popular opinion I like the shape of it better! It actually fits in my hand now lol.
Anyway so far my battery lifetime hasn't seen a significant improvement, (went to sleep last night with it at 62% and this morning it was dead and didn't wake me up)!
It's only been a few days though maybe it will improve with time...
Edit: Mine also takes FOREVER to charge up... Once it got stuck at 75% and would charge no further, but unplugging and re-plugging it made it charge the rest of the way.

Mine takes a while to charge too, if I charge it from about 5-10%, 5 hours still won't charge it to 100%

I agree, airplane mode and make sure the screen is off(I have mine on at all times when plugged in, mainly for work), and it'll charge much faster, plus your alarm will still work.
Just got the extended battery an it lasted 23hrs.
I've been Supercharged and Gingervolted!
Day 1 With extended battery!!!
Hey just got my battery yesterday and am going to see how well it holds up I am a heavy user. Stock I only got about 3hrs out of original battery! Lets see how it goes!!
I just ordered this with the 50% off coupon:
http://www.samsung.com/us/mobile/cell-phones-accessories/EB-H1J9VMAGSTA
To me, it seemed like a no-brainer: a portrait/landscape stand with a spare battery charger built in PLUS it comes with a spare battery for the SAME PRICE as a replacement battery. I've always liked having a desktop dock so i can easily use my phone as an alarm clock, but with the usb on the bottom of this phone, it'd mean that the dock will be in portrait mode. Although i'll need to manually connect the USB to charge the phone while it's on the stand, i'll be able to have it in landscape mode while charging, plus i can use the same USB to either charge the phone or the spare battery.
Can anyone think of any drawbacks of this? I was eyeing the smart-dock, but (besides being out of stock), it lists at $100, so even with the 50% off, it's still expensive and only works in portrait. (I'm going to pick up the MHL 7 to 11 pin adapter so that i can use my old MHL with this phone for HDMI instead, so i see no need for the more expensive dock.)
Has anyone seen/bought one of these or had one for a different phone?
-d
I also jumped in on this deal for the 50% off price and having an extra battery to rotate.
I really want that multimedia dock though...

50% off? Do you have a special or is it usually $100 for that battery and charging stand?
I got a 50% off coupon code when i registered my phone, but i think there's also another 50% off deal floating around out there:

Charge stand is $49.99 but with 50% off is $24.99, as stated there is a code floating around these forums, or register your phone.
The multimedia stand is $99 but is not in stock yet.
Perfect!! Just what I was looking for... rather than carrying a car charging kit when I travel it is much easier for me to keep an extra charged battery I can pop if it gets low.
But with 6 hours screen time, I don't think that will happen very often!
And now its gone...I have to keep an eye on this because its an awesome deal.

If the dock actually charges the phone while it's docked, it would have been amazing. Otherwise, it's an okay deal for a battery and charger.
You can get the OEM charger dock without the battery on ebay for about $10 bucks

It does not charge the battery within the phone when it's dock.

I have one for my original galaxy note, however I'm not sure if I should spend the money on this since the battery is so massive in this phone I haven't been able to kill it in almost a week now. Having an extra battery that I would almost never use is kind of a waste isn't it?

You maybe right. Most of us will still have charge left after 12 hours of pretty use. Since the phone is new, I've been using it a lot, configuring, testing, etc. Yet at the end of the day, I am still staring at 40%. But for $25, which include A/C charger, battery charger/holder, and the included battery, it is a hard deal to pass up. It will come in handy on a long day at the amusement park.

I think you misunderstood. I didn't mean my phone has lasted all week long on a single charge haha. I mean every day I'm going to sleep (long 17 hour days) and the phone is still on 20-40 percent depending on how badly I abuse it. The only day I killed it to 0% was the first day I got it because my battery came charged to about 55%
Ever notice looking on ebay for extra batteries look at the supposedly oem samsung battery..Many pictures don't have the watermark sticker on them....It should have them on the top ..opposite side where the pins are. anyone else notice that?
any suggestions??

No idea what you are talking about.
AW: best powerbank for note 2
Powerbanks are external chargers (at least I guess you mean this). I have one with 16000, with this i can also charge laptops. Didn't have any problems yet. The only thing is that the led shows the wrong status as it keeps staying at one dot after some discharge (20%). It's still having the remaining juice though.
Well, it totally depends how much you need, how much space you have for carrying while traveling and how long you plan to be without permanent energy source. You know the best how long the battery would last for your phone usage.
I recently bought an external battery brand anker, I am very happy with the purchase. I can recharge my note2 about three times, more than enough if you will not be near outlets for a couple of days.
Enviado desde mi GT-N7100 usando Tapatalk 2
I have the Anker 10000 as well. This outputs at 2A just like the stock charger, and is not terribly large.
I sometimes almost wish I needed to buy a device like this. Problem is I use about 45-55% of my battery a day. Only long plane trips or maybe camping trips would I need this...
A big use for this is I can power my external 750gb hd for OTG use.
I use one from panasonic at 5400mAh made by sanyo using enveloop batteries, know to lose only a small % of power over a year or two.
I use ProMini 8000.
I like it a lot.
1. Use Li-polymer battery = safe against heat
2. 8000mah, after 3.7v ->5v -> 3.8v conversion.
I tested it can fully charge my Note 2 lte from 1->100% 2 cycles (phone is on but sceen is off) still have a little battery left in it. Could probably charge anothet 10% give or take.
3. 2.1A and 1A output, both are concurrent, so you could combine both to get 3.1A totally concurrent output maximum and stable ampage output, won't drop.
In my test, from 1 to 100% full in 2.1A port took me roughly 2.5 hours to get fully charge.
4.super small and slim for 8000mah
5. All alumimum made chassis, hardly even warm during charge process, nevermind hot.
6. Inexpensive, I bought mine brand new in Hong Kong for USD 56.
Highly recommend!

Hi all,
Was just on Amazon purchasing a ZL case for my phone and saw that they now have a external battey charger available. Right now i am using the Anker Wall Charger but might consider this as either a replacement or just an additional charger. I have two ZL batteries that i switch back and forth every now and then.
Anyone have thoughts or reviews on this ZL product?
They're all the same thing and work just as well.

I have had the battery for a couple of weeks and now got the charger... I am trying it for the first time for charging the zero lemon battery from 10% as I would be up most of the night trying to get it to the recommended 2%... hopefully I haven't screwed up my battery....
Though with moderate to heavy usage I am getting roughly a day and a half out of this battery.
I hope this charger lives up to the manufacturer hype as it takes over 12 hours to charge this battery using the samsung plug and cable that came with my note 2...
I do hope this ends up being money well spent for the whole lot of the battery, charger, and case.
